  1. In that link, which one there is about the World Pikachu being distributed in other countries? Please do realize that linking an entire page doesn't help by itself. Do provide accompanying screenshots that proves your point. All I see is the Hawaii entry. Serebii does not have the Pikachu entry we're talking about under 2013... (I'm saying this because in our description, the redistribution date is October 5th and 6th, 2013. ) Basically, all that shows me is that there was Lightingrod Pikachu (Lightingrod isn't a move FYI) in Hawaii, but doesn't show how the re-distributions lack it. Maybe you see something I'm not seeing.. Do understand, I wanna get to the bottom to this, so that I can determine whether the description should be updated :3 Now to assume your assertion about the event were right, and answer the other part of your post: Gen 5 mon doesn't have 3DS region, Sub region and country. You could literally take the NDS cartridge and put it into any 3DS to transfer up. (NDS carts are not region locked; real retail NDS carts bought anywhere on Earth can be used on any 3DS) The 3DS region, sub region and country gained is based on the transferer's 3DS settings. It really doesn't matter what you put. (For example, someone with a Japanese languaged cart could have went to the event to receive the event. A few years down the road, they used that same NDS cart on their Japanese region 3DS to transfer up. The mon will gain Japanese 3DS region, sub region (follows the 3DS, if any set) and country [that is within the Japanese 3DS settings]) As for language, it can be ENG to KOR. No restrictions. If you check bulbapedia: (source: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_local_English_event_Pokémon_distributions_in_Generation_V#2012_World_Championships_Pikachu) This gift can be redeemed by any language available at that time. Note: language of card does not determine the mon's language. what determines the mon's language is language of the receiving game.
  2. You could just attach them to your first post in this thread.
  3. yup, that's how PKHeX will know "you didn't trade" and mark those as illegal. They've not taken action for empty HOME trackers or valid HOME trackers presently. No idea if they'll keep it this way. To get valid HOME trackers, transfer them properly. To get any kind of HOME tracker (which may not be valid), transfer the Gen 8 versions into HOME. You can do this via the free HOME app on the Switch. (once again, the HOME trackers obtained this way may not be valid). Yeah, those moves are probably from the event with the Z-Crystal. Yeah, plus hacking them into raids may result in illegal mons. Bred + Soup is the way to go.
  4. No. play via official methods. Pokemon GBA was never officially able to be played on the 3DS.
  5. After doing a quick search in the github (I searched for wc7, which is searchable in regular PKHeX github), I'll say the feature isn't supported. For best experience with PKHeX, use the PC version.
  6. Inject the wonder card into your USUM save. Then redeem it from the deliveryman in the Pokemon Center.
  7. Not every apk works on every device. If you want one that works, compile it yourself. Also, it is more ideal to use PKHeX on your PC. I was gonna leave this thread alone, but there's too many beggars begging for oh no this version doesn't work for me help. With much sorrow, I'm locking this thread.
  8. a) Why are you replying to a post that is almost a year old b) why are you quoting me, something that is almost a year old c) you didn't add any new information; Poke J already mentioned Gen 8 origin mons can't have the Battle Ready Symbol, and I already said that. (just in case you missed it, it was a rhetorical question, with sarcastic undertones. Q:"Why does this thing not happen".. Me: "Because it's not supposed to?" In any event, I'm locking this thread.
  9. The poster hasn't been around since 2020. So I'm unsure if they'll reply. Anyway the answer is likely no.
  10. Well, if you could notice frame drops, then perhaps your computer can't handle it? What I meant by frame skipping, if I could recall the conversation properly, is something like vblank interrupting the frames. Vblank normally occurs for fishing (if I'm not mistaken), however emulators might insert a vblank when it's not supposed to. The most obvious one would be stationaries: AFAIK they should only be Method 1, and a wrong vblank would make them other methods, thus illegal. And no, the mon won't always come with a legal PID spread. It depends on what mon you encounter and how. An example from someone who knows better: (Context, the response was to someone asking about Pokemon Boxes' emulator. But the whole vblank business applies here) and Anyhow, if you don't wanna deal with it, just play on real hardware. :3
  11. Yes, change the Compressed (good/lz) to Raw
  12. way too small to be a sav. I opened your file in a hex editor, and it appeared to be a nocash file. As such, follow the instructions here: (Open your .ini file, change SAV/SNA file format == xxx to SAV/SNA file format == Raw. If it doesn't work, use the supplied .ini file.)
  13. upload your save here. (and only your save)
  14. if you're checking on PKHeX, and it flags a mon illegal, and it's a mon you're able to legally catch in those games, then it almost certainly happened. To use RNGreporter to compare spreads wouldn't exactly work: you'll need to knowledge of whether the game skipped frames to begin with, and you normally wouldn't be able to know if the frame skipping is natural consequence or the emulator mucking up. To provide context, this works when a mon's encounter is only allowed to be Method 1 (for example), and it instead got Method 4. If a mon is allowed to have Method 1, 2 or 4, then it would show up as legal either way. I'm sorry, but if I'm not mistaken, system date doesn't matter, since we're talking about GBA games. GBA doesn't contain system dates? In any event, you're not using distribution carts, so no need to dig into this.
  15. Tho, what you should know is that at times emulator can screw up the RNG calls (the PIDIV generation). If you're that worried bout it, then play on real hardware.
  16. Even if it doesn't, you're not preserving history, because you're literally making a hack of it. Either way, no is no. You asked a question and I answered. I'm not looking to "change your mind", so do what you want with the information.
  17. It is almost as though this gift is not meant to be received on Sun, and thus should not have Sun as its origin game..
  18. Loaded it into PKHeX, and it could view the file. Then I saved, and loaded it into my emulator, and saved twice in it. Besides that process, nothing. you too.
  19. This? The data is right there. POKEMON SAPP_2021.06.22-14.19.03.sav
  20. check our saves or user contributed saves.
  21. But they were already lost or missed, since no one has it. "remaking it" will potentially cause your copy to be confused with the real deal, when the real deal shows up.
  22. I changed the thread title back to English. Please be aware that this is a predominantly English speaking forum.
  23. Yeah you probably have to, if it's a gen 5 Genesect. In Gen 8, you could get a shiny Genesect from GO, and those aren't language locked, so that's one hassle of your shoulders. No worries.
  24. Well, people have been hacking in the Wonder Card into saves and redeeming in on an English save. So ENG name shiny Genesect from the JPN movie event isn't uncommon. Back in the day, a picture of the redeemed Genesect isn't enough; anyone could make it. It was verified against people who went to the event on the spot, and taken various pictures. These people also tends to have various different languaged cart. As I said, if it was an actual exception, we would have heard about it (plus proper accompanying proof) ages ago. Anyhow, I feel as though I have sufficiently answered your question. Do you have any other burning questions?
