  1. yeah that's how the game works sadly. You can force square shiny with any PID on your existing TID/SID, but star shiny would require you to either change your PID or change your TID/SID. Since we don't have a tool to get obtain valid star shiny PIDs on existing TID/SID, we have no choice but to change TID/SID. Also to address this: it's (Keep TID and PID) I don't have a star option that keeps TID and SID.
  2. yeah it was, and it only applied to downloading my file, not the entire line of questioning :3
  3. The "being lazy" joke only applied if you were to download my upload. I didn't say you were lazy with the process or anything. Please do reread my exact words :3 hence why I explained the entire scenario, regarding where you might have gone wrong, and how to remedy it. I would think I offered the help, no? I don't expect everyone to know everything right off the bat, such mistakes do happen :3
  4. well that's how the game works, so it's natural that would happen.
  5. For the record, mons captured in Raids have the same correlation too, just that it starts with a longer seed. (Hard to reverse a 32 bit EC to 64 bit Seed. so some computational bruteforcing required.) It is unknown whether PKHeX would completely implement raid checking (in terms of the PID correlation) as well.
  6. For SWSH, any grass encounters, overworld encounters, roaming encounters or fishing encounters, has a known PID IV relationship, that you cannot just hack randomly. (There are a few exceptions, which you can read in Anubis's gist linked below) Detection for that has been implemented into PKHeX. Legality report will show "Encounter Type PID mismatch". Data that has a correlation presently: EC-PID-IV-Height-Weight (all chain generated from one encounter seed) While it's possible to reverse the Encryption Constant to find the seed and then calculate what the results of that encounter would be, there's presently no public method to bruteforce the stats you want. A wrote a tool to try to search for the stats a user may want, but do note it might take a while.. There's also no guarantee that every seed is legal (we don't know yet), but that is something we may find out in the future.. [I mentioned seed because the program just goes up by one seed per search] ---- More info if you want (tweet plus link to gist): https://twitter.com/Sibuna_Switch/status/1379326888674463750 PKHeX's implementation of legality checking (if you can read C#): https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/blob/master/PKHeX.Core/Legality/RNG/Overworld8RNG.cs Tutorial to obtain legal overworld8 details: https://projectpokemon.org/home/tutorials/save-editing/using-pkhex/pid-mismatch-origin-game-swsh-r114/
  7. Let me address what I think happened (starting with the original case). Explanation in spoiler below:
  8. Issue resolved, locking thread. Also removing the unnecessary all caps from the title.
  9. try this Pokemon White 2 (Experience + Trade Evolution Patched)(1).SAV For the record, I've just imported the event block from this save to the previous save. I then used PKHeX to fix the checksums. Event block details same as before.
  10. PID mismatch on overworld8 mons aren't caused by marks, but close enough. Don't think the Mark correlation to the seed is known. Anyhow, that's not the issue on hand. OP's mon is from a den. Those can't have marks.
  11. do you happen to have your original legal non-shiny PID? (I'm assuming this request is for a mon in mind) If you do:
  12. Yuzu is not optimized with playing Pokémon. Additionally, it is highly dependent on the specs on your computer. So I'll advise against it. If you still wanna brave through it: the one way to skip the quest, is to completely bypass all story elements. Meaning take someone's save that is already past the whole CT story shtick.
  13. No, I don't have it. If you play someone else's save to that point, I can help import the event flags into your save.
  14. Probably not the Kyurem, but you can try for the Reshiram. Tho you could just uncheck Kyurem disappeared in PKHeX event flags.
  15. you are using a patched game right? maybe the patch messed with something. Or maybe it's an anti piracy measure, who knows. Try this save, it should be post champion now: test.SAV
  16. did you use a cheat code or skipped badges or something. well the best bet is probably to just set the save straight to battled E4. Do you want that?
  17. hey, check my previous post, there's an edit you missed.
  18. You copy the block from base save, then paste write it into your copy of the save. Paste write overwrites the data, hence when I got you to do Goto first, cause you want to overwrite the correct data. edit: There is something else very wrong with your save. I imported the event block from the other save I salvaged. It should not be too far ahead from your save. test.SAV
  19. The save offset link should tell you (a) the block's beginning offset [think: address/location/position] and (b) and end offset of the block. So copy that chunk of data (as per the beginning and end) from base save and paste write into your save. using Hex editor, you can Edit > Select Block to select that chunk. You can then Search>Goto the same offset on your save, then Edit>Paste Write. Lemme know if you have any issues.
  20. Read how to do it at this specific post: Original quote: https://projectpokemon.org/home/forums/topic/45984-resolved-looking-for-a-pokemon-white-2-save-file/?do=findComment&comment=233401

For the 25th Anniversary of Pokémon, an event to celebrate Kanto was held. By purchasing a paid ticket, players were able to capture a Shiny Mew. At the time of this post, there is no unpaid version of the Shiny Mew. In order to obtain this Shiny Mew, players had to complete a Special Research line that was pretty tedious. Some tasks included reaching trainer level 40 in Pokémon GO, catching a Pokémon 30 days in a row, walking 151 km, catching 1510 Pokémon, completing 151 research tasks. Various details on this file has been changed to keep the provider's account details private. Thanks to @Beyonder107 for providing a copy of this Mew, as well as the necessarily evidence for this Mew. Original article and discussion: https://projectpokemon.org/home/forums/topic/58269-go-shiny-mew/ For this file to be transferable across games without any stats oddities, you cannot modify any immutable values. 22. I'm gonna respectfully disagree. I imagine something is wrong in your process, and I don't know what it is. In my gif, I show a mon moving from a gen 1 save to gen 2 save, and vice versa. It's the same method for shifting between saves of the same generation. Worst comes to worst, export the mon as a .pkm file from one window, then import the .pkm file into another window.
  23. Details for Index 32 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 (minor differences, in raid chance) Rewards for Index 32 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 (minor differences, in raid chance) Details for Index 32 of dai_encount Rewards for Index 32 of dai_encount
  24. Let's think about it in terms of receiving it on an unedited save file. Your 3DS region is Europe, and language of save is English. Country does not matter. As such, you can only receive English Wonder cards, in terms of Serial Code or Nintendo Network (region locked stuff basically). With that in mind, it means you get English specific OTs (because you can't receive other language variants of the same event). To pose the statement as a rhetorical question: how would you go about receive Spanish specific OTs, when you can't receive Spanish language'd wonder cards, hmm? [reminder: I'm talking about region locked events here. region free events usually only distribute in only 1 language, and you can receive it as-is]
