  1. Are you sure they're gonna open it up to Gen I-IV Pokemon before they release the 3rd iteration of Gen V? Cause think about this: You'd end up having a) Gen I-IV Pokemon who have access to TMs, egg moves, and Move Tutors from previous games. and b) Gen V Pokemon who have access to no Move Tutors. I'm almost thinking they might open it up to the big legendaries (your banned list) for a year, but keep it at only Gen V. There was a year where they allowed thoes Pokemon, but it was a while ago, back when Platinum was new. If/when a third game in Gen V gets released, it will most likely have some form of move tutor to increase the amount of moves that Gen V Pokemon can know. I wonder if they'd wait for THAT before also allowing in all the previous Pokemon.
  2. I trust the images, was referring to the single pkm file that is evidently being passed around.
  3. http://ircnews.kottnet.net/2011/08/14/mibbit-has-been-compromised/ It had to do with this, but I'm being told it shouldn't be banned. What server did you/do you connect to?
  4. The same one was the one contributed here. It's just been passed around, we have no way of knowing if it's the real deal.
  5. It's a secret. The guy who just won Worlds (and won last year) won with the same strategy I have been using since before PBR came out. He didn't use Pidgeot, obviously, but he used the same theory. Pokemon isn't JUST about numbers. My Pidgeot definitely serves a purpose to the team it is on, and after it's done its job it can use Brave Bird to deal enough damage on its way out. There's pretty much no need to OHKO anything in Double or Triple battles. Utility Pokemon can be VERY useful, especially if they can take a hit or three before fainting.
  6. Every Japanese DW Pokemon I have (all actually caught with the DW) ends in FFFF. I don't know what you are talking about, Vecte.
  7. Probably shortly after someone who went there submits it here.
  8. Yeah, Crobat went to all regions/languages at the World Championships. I believe all had the same English WC text and the Crobat itself had an English name, but all languages could accept the WC. (With Gen V, the event Pokemon's name is determined by the language of the game cart, not the WC.)
  9. Thanks to Kaphotics for pointing this out, but not thanks to Kaphotics for not saying anything about it until I said something first. http://www.pokemonworldchampionships.com/2011/schedule On Saturday, Aug 14th, there will be SOMETHING distributed at the World Championships in San Diego. It is unsure if it will be transferred by local wireless, or by IR to registered participants, but it will most likely be for all languages of the game. Update: It's a Scrafty. See next post for details.
  10. Thanks to Nigoli, we've updated the collection with the Singing Pikachu from the a-nation for Life event in Aichi, which featured a performance from SKE48. 8-14-2011 Collection archive updated Added: Singing Pikachu (SKE48 OT)
  11. The group being comprised of an army of girls was all the confirmation I needed. Ha.
  12. Some info about the Pikachu distributed at the POKÉMON with YOU tour. The OT for this Pikachu is いえるかな, at least at the event that took place in Iwate on the 8th and 9th. We'll update if we hear about the other two events this weekend and next week.
  13. If you want legit pokemon, you can catch them legitimately. Also, more importantly, READ THIS Anything you could possibly want to do with a hacked pokemon does not have any hack checks. Legality doesn't really matter. If you are playing in-game or against friends online or locally, then there are no hack checks. If you are trying to hack for any other purpose, you can leave.
  14. Official site has given an update. The a-nation event this weekend (8/13) will feature a performance from SKE48.... so the OT of the Pikachu there will be SKE48.
  15. This is now a second Swiss contribution of these events which has the OT of SO2011. This seems to further back up that the German language versions of these three events are NOT SMR2011, but actually SO2011. It is possible that the events IN Germany have a different OT (SMR2011), but we have yet to see any contributions from Germany. Until we do, the only German language ones we have are the ones from Switzerland with an OT of SO2011. Thanks for helping us sort this out, iHans. For those of you interested in going after the ones IN Germany, you can still get Karrablast and Shelmet at Toys R Us http://www.toysrus.de/family/index.jsp?categoryId=3949321&ab=DE_1_Nav-Ban_Pokemon and Zoroark at the Pokemon Day Tour around Germany http://www.nintendo.de/NOE/de_DE/news/events/pokmon_day_tour_2011_43928.html
  16. Thanks to the last two pgf submissions by lachesis, we have sorted out the French event Pokemon and can now add Karrablast and Shelmet to our collection! 8-7-2011 Collection archive updated Added: French Karrablast and Shelmet (Japan Expo) German or Swiss users, please see the previous post if you would like to help us confirm and sort out the German events.
  17. Thank you! Hopefully this settles this mystery. I'll update the collection in the morning. It turns out the confusion was that Pokesav does not correctly display the French accented characters. All French submissions have actually had ÉTÉ2011 as the OT, so they are correct. I will add the new pgfs in the next update. The next clarification that needs to be made is the German/Swiss events. We have a contribution with an OT of SO2011, but I've seen other sources that say SMR2011. There could be multiples (maybe Swiss is different from German or the old Greek one), but it would be really helpful if a user in Germany could actually go get them and check them out for us. They are all still happening.
  18. Thanks! Did you attend the event personally? We're having trouble determining if the OT should be ÉTÉ2011 or ETE2011, and we've had conflicting reports and submissions.
  19. We have added the Singing Pikachu from the Pokemon Wasshoi event happening at various locations throughout Japan. When we get those that have different OTs from the a-nation for Life events, we will be adding those as well. It is unknown if the Pikachu from the newly announced POKEMON with YOU tour will have another unique OT, but we will update when that information becomes available. See the Singing Pikachu event thread for more details. 8-6-2011 Collection archive updated Added: Singing Pikachu, Wasshoi OT
  20. A new tour has been announced. This Pikachu will also be distributed during the 「POKÉMON with YOU ツアー」coming to three shopping malls for two days each in August. Aug 8 and 9 in Iwate Aug 13 and 14 in Fukushima Aug 17 and 18 in Miyagi No word yet on what the OT will be for these. This info and ALL THE DATES AND LOCATIONS can be found here: http://www.pokemon.co.jp/info/2011/07/g110715_01.html?bs001=news
  21. I don't know why this was all so hard to understand. All of this information has been available in the contribution thread's link to the official source of this event. Even in Japanese, it is NOT difficult to read information about dates and not so difficult to pick out where the OTs are.
  22. Update: Zoroark will be distributed during the German Pokemon Day Tour from late August to October at numerous locations around Germany. http://www.nintendo.de/NOE/de_DE/news/events/pokmon_day_tour_2011_43928.html
  23. Turns out there are five different OTs for this event (with perhaps a sixth), depending on the event attended. Don't worry, we'll get them all.
