HOW did you get them?

We will not be adding GTS events to this collection, as the number of people who actually got them is incredibly small and it is impossible to determine was is real and what is not. Generation IV pkm files will not be added to this collection. The purpose is for people to use pcd and pgt files to simulate getting their own event pokemon in the case that they missed the real event. Including pkm files would make it so every person has the exact pkm, regarding stats and PID. We won't be doing this. This is not a discussion thread.

Thanks to Nigoli, we now have the Korean Zoroark. It seems there are some hacks floating around of this event. Based on information confirmation from multiple sources, I have determined that the one we have is the real deal. 7-20-2011 Collection archive updated Added: Korean Snarl Zoroark

Thanks to Malvoideae, we have gotten the German Zoroark and Karrablast/Shelmet! 7-19-2011 Collection archive updated Added: German Snarl Zoroark, Karrablast/Shelmet These WC and Pokemon are identical to the German version of the Greek event, so it covers both on the checklist. French Zoroark has been contributed, due to its distribution at video game stores in France, but we still don't have Karrablast or Shelmet and I am unsure if those have been distributed anywhere other than the Greek event. I am also unaware of any further distributions of these events in Spanish. I'd like everyone to keep their ears/eyes open to see if any of these other European distributions are/were obtainable using the different languages of the BW game cartridges. Another recent one was held in the UK. These were likely identical to the Greek distributions, and it is unknown if the UK event was English only.

Added: Greek (ENG) Multirama events: Karrablast, Shelmet, and Snarl Zoroark On a side note, this contribution has displayed that arhacker's Mystery Gift Extractor does not handle all WC data correctly and much of it is lost on dumping. Still unsure on how pokesav will handle special characters, as the text in these WCs' titles was quite simple. Stay tuned for a simple alternative if you are unable to use pokesav.

I have seen official confirmation of the Italian event distribution, but the news article you linked to simply says that the Pokemon Day event is planned for the stated dates in Holland and Germany... it doesn't say specifically that the Zoroark will be distributed there. I am unable to find official confirmation of this. Please let me know when/if you see confirmation. The picture of the advertisement for the French Zoroark seems to be legitimate.

Japanese pokesav with applocale (or running in Japanese OS) works just fine for Japanese WCs and preserves all data correctly, as far as I can see. Still need to do more tests to see how it handles special Eng characters like the accented e. The only text in pgf files is the name of the WC (not description), and OT name. Modified versions of Pokesav (such as translated versions) CANNOT BE TRUSTED as they have shown to be quite buggy and contain many errors in data handling. Still need to do some more tests to see if PokeStock handles them ok, but it's clear Grovyle's Mystery Gift editor doesn't work completely right.

This is the best way to avoid any errors, as well. No such program exists, currently.

The Japanese PGL website announced that a new special home (like Pokemon Cafe) will open in July to commemorate the dual movie release. The motif of the area will be based on the locales of the movie(s). No minigame, item, or pokemon encounter information has been announced yet, but they HAVE said that something special will happen if you send your event Reshiram or Zekrom (from the movie) to this new area. Update: http://ja.pokemon-gl.com/about/sp/movie2011/index.html#gear It has been revealed that you will get a C-Gear Skin of either Zekrom or Reshiram when you take your move event pokemon to the new Home. Even if you have both, you can only get one Skin per cartridge. There is a password hidden somewhere in the home that you can use to get a Victini Doll (and possibly some other goods?) for your DW house. Still no word if there will be any minigames to get any DW pokemon from this Special Home.
