  1. I know there are at least a few users in this forum who have a 3DS, so with the increasing number of online 3DS games, I thought I'd make this thread so users could inform other users of which multiplayer 3DS games they had in order to find more friends to match up and play with. This is not a "Here's my friend code, everyone register me!" thread (because that is quite ineffective). If you find someone here that has a game that you have, it is best to contact them directly (either through forum PM or on the IRC channel) to set up a friend code exchange and a time to play. Guested's online 3DS games: Street Fighter IV Resident Evil: Mercenaries Tetris (Tetris Axis) Sonic Generations Mario Kart 7 Happy gaming!
  2. DW Pokemon can only have ONE special move, btw.
  3. Blissey will be available to meet in Japanese Dream Worlds via serial number this holiday season. Between November 19 and December 25, if you go to the special area in a Pokemon Center store and say "Merry Christmas" to the staff there, they'll give you a Mini Calendar Card with a serial number on it that you can use to meet Blissey. (Blissey's Hidden Ability is Healer) More details after Oct 29.
  4. I've updated the event list and Gallery and also rearranged some things on the list to reflect the current status. 10-15-2011 Event List updated Added: Korean Shiny Hydreigon and Shiny Golurk (Nov 3 - Jan 31)
  5. There are several IRC apps for iOS devices.
  6. That sounds like a bug to me. It looks like Pokegen isn't calculating the stats right, maybe?
  7. Good investigation. I wonder why they couldn't send me a coherent reply when I asked them about the validity of some European events. They started talking about "game codes" which probably meant passwords for DW..... buncha idiots.
  8. Thanks, Djidane! I'm interested to see if it will have the same OT as the previous French ones. I've heard that some of the European Zoroark and Karrablast/Shelmet events actually distributed in all languages used in Europe (Eng, French, German, Spanish, Italian), but that might have just been the German ones or something. If you have access to any other language games, please take them and see which languages the event is in! (Especially Spanish, since we don't have that one)
  9. I'll take a look at it if you do upload it. Thanks for the info!
  10. http://youtu.be/8dUn_rDxqec User is FROM Canada, but I don't believe he states whether or not he got this Zoroark IN Canada. Another to be taken with a grain of salt. The jury is still out.
  11. I think you need to be way more specific on what you mean. Your thread title asks "How do I create .pcd files" but the contents ask "How do I edit .pkm files" ...
  12. The event is now live and can be found on the Gallery page: http://projectpokemon.org/events/jp-V.php
  13. 9-25-2011 Collection archive updated Added: Strongest Mewtwo The Strongest Mewtwo Japanese Wi-Fi event has gone live! It has been added to the collection, as well as to the Gallery, here: http://projectpokemon.org/events/jp-V.php
  14. The Japanese Generation IV page in the Event Gallery is finally ready to go! http://projectpokemon.org/events/jp-IV.php If you notice any broken links, errors in the data, or anything else weird, please report here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?17603-Event-Gallery-Error-Reporting The Korean page will be next, but I first need to solve the mystery of the conflicting WC IDs... but I'm pretty sure I've just about rooted out which one is bad and which are good.
  15. The Japanese Generation IV section is now up! http://projectpokemon.org/events/jp-IV.php Report any errors, broken links, etc, here please! http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?17603-Event-Gallery-Error-Reporting
  16. The last move was just announced on Pokemon Smash: Electro Ball (can't normally learn it) Full details can be found in the Gallery page: http://projectpokemon.org/events/jp-V.php
  17. Thanks, fixed it. I don't notice typos with names I'm not used to.
  18. It hasn't been released yet, if you'd bother to check the information. You can get one yourself through Wi-Fi on a Japanese game after the event starts, or get the pgf here after it releases. http://projectpokemon.org/events/jp-V.php
  19. It's extremely unlikely someone would trade away their legit one. You can make a legal one with the pgf found on our Event Gallery page. http://projectpokemon.org/events/en-V.php
  20. First of all, the issue of Nintendo Power doesn't go on sale until October. Second of all, the Japanese version (with Famitsu magazine) is using a single-use, unique serial number... so if the US version also uses a serial number, the only way you'll get one is by buying a magazine for yourself.
  21. Well, this is technically the error reporting page for the Gallery....and since the Gallery page for the Korean events isn't up, the OTHER thread actually would have been the better place. BUT, it doesn't really matter because it's all the same thing, so anyway... Thanks for pointing this out. I wasn't managing the collection at this time, and didn't notice it when I was re-arranging things this time (since one is an item, and one is a pokemon, I keep them in different folders on my PC so that's why it didn't stand out to me). I've got some leads on answers, and I'm looking into it now. Of course, if anyone else has info on this, it'd help.
  22. Well, it's more of an issue of whether it was JUST by Wireless or JUST by Slot 2. In Japan, all of the events that used Slot 2 had DS Lites loaded with the distro cart that were kept by staff members... you'd give them your game, and they'd manage the distribution. They of course wouldn't accept a flash cart, they would only take real games. Now that S Korea is using IR to prevent flash cart users from getting events, I was just wondering how far that strategy goes back... they could have used Slot 2 for some of their Gen IV local distributions (obviously not the Wifi or Download Station ones). Since you seem to have a lot of info, I'd like to ask you one more question: Do you know if any events were restricted to certain versions of the game? Some events in US/Japan were only available to Platinum or HGSS, for example.
  23. Wow, that's far more detailed information than I was expecting... thanks! I do have a question, though. I was recently told that the local events for Gen V are done by IR so people have to use a retail cartridge to get them... the same person also said a lot of Gen IV events were done by Slot 2 distribution for the same reason. So are you sure that these local ones were wireless?
  24. Thanks! No major hurry, since I'm still in the middle of the Japanese page. I've got most of the info in my Korean event spreadsheet, but that's definitely where the holes are.
  25. You know.... what I could REALLY use some help with at this point is a list of how all the Gen IV Korean events were distributed: Wifi, Local Wireless, or Slot 2. If anyone has that information, that would really help me get the Korean Gallery page up faster.
