NOTE: FOR THOSE HAVING SCREEN STRETCHING ISSUES IN DOLPHIN, use ShowMiiWads to match your system. Dolphin gets weird about Region-Free patching. https://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/ShowMiiWads Finally the Japan-exclusive WiiWare Pokémon Mystery Dungeon titles, the Adventure Squad series, have been translated! Patches for each game have been released after months and months of hard work from fans of the series. The team has also worked with the Wiimmfi and RiiConnect24 teams in order to restore the event Pokémon that were distributed for this game. Other features of the translation include: -Pokémon nickname limit expanded to 10 characters (Japanese 5) -Buddy Passwords fully functional. These can now be found by hitting the Wii Home button, then pressing the "Operations Guide" button. -Pre-patched with Wiimmfi and RiiConnect24 for ease of event access. Friend Rescues do not work currently, but are being looked into. -Item icons and many descriptions ported from Super Mystery Dungeon -Dummied/beta items ported from Explorers of Sky have been restored. Inaccessible in-game, can be accessed with cheats. -It's in English now, which is cool.

  2. Video was removed by uploader, so I'm removing the link. Also someone dumped the save and I looked at it: it looks like they hacked (GF) in the Mew. No Mew in Pokédex (lol). Also the information pieced together previously was right: the Restore Point reverts back to Mew already in party, so all Mews done this way (JP and EU) are clones.

  3. On August 4, 2009, Chunsoft released a set of 3 WiiWare Titles: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Keep Going! Blazing Adventure Squad!, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Let's Go! Stormy Adventure Squad!, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Go For It! Light Adventure Squad! These titles were never released outside of Japan, making them inaccessible to players who do not know Japanese. After years of silently working in the background, a group of fans released an English translation to make the games accessible to many more, titled Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Radiant Adventure Squad, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Wildfire Adventure Squad, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Tempest Adventure Squad. Trailer: Download: Instructions from their readme file: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Adventure Squad Series Readme: Version 1.0 ======================================================================================================================== Changelog: -1.0 initial release ======================================================================================================================== Instructions: Use a .bps patcher such as Flips: https://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=11474 PMD_Radiance_Hikari.bps can be applied to: Pokémon Fushigi no Dungeon: Mezase! Hikari no Boukendan : Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Radiant Adventure Squad PMD_Wildfire_Honoo.bps can be applied to: Pokémon Fushigi no Dungeon: Susume! Honoo no Boukendan : Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Wildfire Adventure Squad PMD_Tempest_Arashi.bps can be applied to: Pokémon Fushigi no Dungeon: Ikuzo! Arashi no Boukendan : Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Tempest Adventure Squad If Flips says the file is incorrect, try applying the header patch to your base WAD first. There are two dumps of the WAD floating around with differences in header/footer. If you had the Japanese version previously played on Dolphin, be sure to uninstall it from your NAND by right clicking it on Dolphin's home screen before loading the translated WAD file. Known Errors: -Slowking's team sort menu does not properly sort alphabetically due to changes to the name screen. -DS Download Play features have not been translated. They are still functional, but your team leader's name may appear incorrectly and move names remain in Japanese. ======================================================================================================================== FAQ about the game/translation: 1:Which version should I play? What's the difference? The games have the same plot, but Pokémon appearing in dungeons differ between the three. -Radiant version has primarily Elecric-type/yellow-colored starters -Tempest version has primarily Water-type/blue-colored starters -Wildfire version has primarly Fire-type/red-colored starters The save files for all three games are linked. Recruiting a team member or placing an item in storage allows it to be used in all three games, so please pick whichever one you'd like. 2:What should I expect from the game compared to the other Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games? These games were released on the Japanese Wii Shop Channel for 1,200 Nintendo Points each; that's about a third of the price of a regular Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game. The plot is relatively light, but the games include every Pokémon through Generation 4 and have unique mechanics that haven't reappeared in the series since. 3: Why these titles over X title? Why was this term translated this way? The three subtitles were named after Looplets in Super Mystery Dungeon; the set included names of other games in the series, and we wanted to preserve the connection to the 3DS title, as characters and items from this game also made appearances there. Names of new mechanics and items have been localized to the best of our ability. 4:Do passwords to unlock Pokémon still work in the translation? The new Buddy Passwords can be found by pushing the Home button on your Wii console or emulator, then clicking Operations Guide. Due to a few changes to the name entry screen, the passwords are different from the original Japanese game. We opted not to use certain currently-in-use terms among fans, like "Pal Password", over concerns that those looking for the updated passwords from this game only find the listings from the original release. Note that the online manual for this game is inactive, and may crash, so please do not attempt to access it via the Operations Guide screen. 5:Are event Pokémon included in the game/can every Pokémon be recruited? Is there online support? This translation is prepatched with Wiimmfi and RiiConnect24. Our team worked with the server owners to restore these lost events. All of the known event Pokémon have been restored and should be fully functional. From the Main Menu, turn the Distribution Service on to allow connection to RiiConnect24, and check for Wii-Mail on your home menu. To receive the other event Pokémon, access Wonder Mail W to see a list of event missions and enter Buddy Passwords for other exclusive Pokémon. For information on setting your system up for Wiimmfi support, please check https://wii.guide/wiimmfi.html For information on setting your system up for RiiConnect24 support, please check https://wii.guide/riiconnect24 Events distributed: -Wiimmfi: Dialga, Giratina, and Arceus are available at all times via Wonder Mail W. -RiiConnect24: cycles Mew, Darkrai, Jirachi and Palkia on a monthly basis, with the Pokémon switching on the first of each month. Your Wii Console's date must be set to match the current timeframe or the events will not work. Talk to Farfetch'd after receiving the Wii-Mail to activate them. Friend Rescues are not currently supported as of 4-28-2020 (v1.0 release date). If they are restored in the future, the changes necessary are server-side, so there should be no need to update the patch. Dates sent via Wii-Mail reflect the original distributions and may not be accurate, but the events will be in rotation each month. 6: How do I make this work on my PAL/NTSC/etc. Wii: You can use ShowMiiWads to change the .wad file's region. For PAL users: Due to a difference in the way the games are rendered between NTSC/PAL the game may show a black screen upon loading. This is remedied by going into Wii System Settings > Screen and changing the display settings from 60hz mode to 50hz mode. https://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/ShowMiiWads 7:Are the games canon to the series? A few characters and items originating in this game also appear as cameos in Super Mystery Dungeon, but its plot and events are overall not connected. We worked to keep those references intact and consistent ======================================================================================================================== Additional Info/Technical Modifications: This game's item database was modified from Explorers of Sky's. Unused items in the code were found to have leftover data from this port; most were fully functional, and some even had unique models, so these have been restored. They have not been added into the main game, however, so they require Action Replay/cheats to access. In the original Japanese game, these did not have their names (these were blank) and all displayed as Plain Seeds until a bit was unset in order to re-enable them. These include the following fully-functional items: -Trap Scarf, Goggle Specs, Space Globe, the Seven Treasures, Amber Tear, Gabite Scale, Sizebust Orb Lost Loot, Gold Fang, Corsola Twig, Cacnea Spike, Rare Fossil, Tight Belt, Wonder Chest, Unown Stones, some TMs, and the color Bow items. Partial functionality exists for the following items, which may have unique models not seen elsewhere: -Link Box (opens the move menu, but does not allow move linking; code does still exist for linking, however, which seems to work fine even with the Stack mechanic) -Exclusive Items: No functionality, but some have unique models. Unused moves from Rescue Team: Excavate, and Spin Slash, remained in the code, but had their names blanked out. These have been assigned their proper names, but beyond script modifications, remained untouched. Please enjoy discovering some of these unique development relics via cheats. --- Item Icons from Super Mystery Dungeon have been upscaled and used in the game. These were not in the original Japanese release. --- SOS Mail system has been reworked to use keywords from Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald's EasyChat as a basis for space reasons. ======================================================================================================================== Thank you for playing our translation. 4. Hello everyone! I don't know if there was any demand for this or if anyone really cared, but I've spent what little free time I had over the past 6-7 months creating this. It's a Fire Red save file you can open/import in any GBA emulator, and it contains every single pokemon, shiny, with legitimate stats, holding every legal ribbon it can own, having perfect IV's/EVs/ with Smogon competitive movesets. Basically anything you can possibly think of, it's on here. All completely "legal" in the sense that it will (should) pass all legality checkers and will transfer over to the newer generations without any red flags. NFE Pokemon like Charmander are level 98 and Charmeleon 99 in case you want to evolve them. For every non-bred Pokemon, I used the relevant PID Finder Method to ensure legitimate PID values for the designated event. I also gave the trainer 999 of every time, max money, etc etc. It took me forever to make this, but I finally finished it and want to share it with the world! I plan on sharing this via Dropbox to YouTube, but I thought ProjectPokemon should hear about this first, especially if the community might find some use for this in terms of research & development. Here are the files along with a copypasta from the Readme I plan on attaching to the Dropbox: <attachments below> [Mods: I wasn't exactly sure where to post this, since it does contain many Event files but is obviously more than just events. If you need me to move this or remove it, please let me know and I will be more than happy to oblige.] Thank you for your time, isleep2late

Introduction Typically dumping savs from bootleg GBA carts will result in a save that won't be usable on emulators nor save editors. That is because the save is typically stored with the ROM data, instead of the designated save location. This program is able to extract and inject saves into bootleg Pokémon GBA ROMs. Usage You can drag and drop the game (.gba/.bin) onto the program, or open it. The save (if available) is then dumped into the same directory as where the game is. You can extract the save for editing, and then choose to inject back the edited save. Technical Explanation This program checks every 0x1000 of the save file, starting from 0xFF8. (if it's a save, the initial 2-words at every 0xFF8 in the save are identical to each other, and the initial 2-words at every 0xFFE in the save are the same, that being blanks) Image example: Tests done. Tested on a copy obtained from here, as well as on an owned bootleg cartridge.

This is a wild area event held by Sword and Shield. This event does not have any Gigantamax Pokémon encounters. This wild area event seems to feature favorites used in online battles, such as Tyranitar, Excadrill, Whimsicott, Togekiss, Dragapult and Rotom. To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it. Our first post of this page would contain some data relevant to the importing stage. There's info and some common questions regarding Wild Area Events here. To see other Wild Area Events, here. Update: In about 9 hrs, they fixed the 1 star Drilbur on Shield: It no longer gets Hydro Pump (Index 19 -> Index 20)

This is the Skitty where I managed to enter the Hall of Fame. I did an itemless Solo challenge with this Pokémon. This is from a salvaged save file I backed up before the one i had completed managed to delete itself. I did the run on a 3DS Virtual Console injected ROM. The backed up save file was made before beating the second gym.

  9. I just wanted to post this here. We have a new theoretical idea how these Mew/Celebi machines worked. In several posts I've made during the past years I've said it was probably a devcart inside a SGB2/SFC linked to a GBP. This was based on the fact you can see the SFC controller in photos, as well as a cartridge slot that looks like a GBP. Upon discovering the PCNY machine, our theory has changed. Partly, but not limited to, the fact the PCNY writer's cartridge slot has a faux-GameBoy plastic cover for that illusion. I'll leave out specific details for now, but basically the PCNY cartridge writer is called Machine 2. We think Machine 1 is possibly none other than the Mew/Celebi Machine, which would mean it could theoretically be a devcart in a SGB1/SFC with the cartridge writer plugged into Port 2. Upon learning how the PCNY machine works, this process makes the most sense to be the same case for these original machines. If none other than considering the fact they all support cartridges being constantly inserted/removed without the need of a system reboot, this theory stands very well. Now even more so than in the past, I hope we will one day obtain the software and the cart writer used inside these machines, if not even an entire intact unit. If a few Machine 2s still exist in some form, then Machine 1s more than likely do as well. The question is how and when will they surface?

  10. The ads here were not annoying or distracting in any way, you could easily ignore them, but I don't miss them though. Thanks to all the Patrons for making this possible! Also thanks to the team of course and anyone else who contributes to make this site better!

  11. I actually ran one of these events and they had me take the cartridge and system home to test it by trading with my own game the night before! If I had any idea how rare these cartridges would be some day, it might have gone "missing" after the event, lol. It was amazing what some of those kids were willing to trade away to get their Mew. We kept telling them to catch an extra Rattata or Pidgey to trade, but some kids were trading fully evolved and legendary pokemon. I'm really not surprised if this was a legit event cart. Some TRU are not known for returning those event carts and systems in a timely manner, if at all. I remember having a DS with a Platinum/Diamond event cart sitting in a box in the managers office for months after one of those in-store download events.

Summary Pokémon Blaze Black 2 & Pokémon Volt White 2 are essentially the sequels to my Black & White hacks known as Blaze Black and Volt White. The usual rules with my hacks apply; the main feature is that all 649 Pokémon are available for capture somewhere in the game, and the trainers have all had their rosters changed in order to maintain a much harder challenge than the original game, as well as having an increased variety of opponents to fight. There's also a large amount of alternative features these hacks offer, which range from differences to the Pokémon themselves to the presence of a couple new TMs. If I'm not mistaken, these are also the first Black 2 and White 2 hacks on offer. Additionally, the two versions only differ in terms of their aesthetic differences, such as the appearance of Opelucid City, the title screen, etcetera. So basically, just pick whichever colour takes your fancy! Thread
