  2. The Mew contained in this Pokemon Blue save file is legit and was obtained from a ToysRus distribution in 1999. The first 1,500 customers at each Toys "R" Us store around the United States received a special 'Peel & Win' sticker card on November 26, 1999. 200 at each store contained the text "Caught Me!" underneath, which allowed players to receive a Mew from December 8 to 12, 1999. Legitimate Mews for GEN1 Pokemon games are extremely rare these days, due to the fact the save games on Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow game cartridges get erased when the battery inside the game cartridge runs out. Luckily wilykat from the EverDrive forums had backed has save game up so was able to share this rare Pokemon GEN1 event Pokemon with us. 3. Thank you @katsuya! I would also like to thank other users who have sent in WCs privately. Since they did not post them publicly, I am not sure if they want to be named. It means quite a bit to me that we have people who are part of the korean community (or at least live in Korea).

  5. I had thought about the event gallery for those generations being weirdly empty... Glad they'll be filled up soon.

  6. It'll be done, but not soon. I just got back home, will start looking through the saves.

  7. I finally got home, and I finally can upload this: the Korean Shiny Tapu Koko! Thanks @BLACKBIRD and @katsuya for this contribution!

  8. I would reverse engineer it, put copies on lots of random Pokémon, and use the resulting experience to quickly train an army to storm evil organizations like Team Skull or the Illuminati. (The army will consist of volunteer Pokémon. I'm not a complete monster.) What would you do with 10 bars of GLORIOUS GOLD!!!!! (Mystery Dungeon reference, for those who are unaware.)

  9. To add onto that, HK/TW code events are only legal on EU consoles in certain languages: ENG, JPN, KOR, CHT, and CHS.

  10. This was comented in the first page but I have some thinga to say: - I've read reports stating that PCNY Celebi could be shiny, apparebtly at random. I'd love to know how the celebi machines worked... I read one that claimed not that he received a shiny one, but that the peraon before him did. Since the DV were random, it wouldn't surprise me it wasn't shiny locked. - For gen 1/2 events (mainly mew/celebi) some things can be checked for legality. Of course faking them is way easier than in gen 3. I'd love to see more of them, but having mew/celebi feels lucky enough, any gen 2 are probably dead and any japanese event is probably out of reach... About gen 2 VC: I don't think they'd do the gs ball event, they would just do a trade celebi if they ever do...unless they want to surprise everybody and rework the mobile function to work over wifi, even in non-jap games. That would be awesome.

  11. Psychic/Fire it is. Its moveset could consist of Calm Mind and Scald (unusual for a fire type, but it works).

  12. I hope nobody minds that I released these. Also, if anybody such as HaxAras, ReignOfComputer, or anyone who has helped me with this wants, they can inject this mew into their saves freely, just as long as they give a mail to it indicating its clone status, and briefly saying that due to gen 3 PID/IV/ID limits, such a stellar mew can only exist once uniquely, and that me and suloku have the only original one. This mew is a double event, as it is actually a Faraway Island Mew, that pretends to be the similar PokePakku Mew that was distributed a year later, up to a day after my actual birthday in 2006, and started on Mexican Mother's Day, which is 2 days after the end date of the Japanese Gather More Pokemon! Event, also on Mother's Day, but this time American Mother's Day. Coincidentally, both events have similar trainer ID numbers, and possibly matching Secret ID numbers. The number after the non-Mew Event's ID Number is also a Palindrome as an even further coincidence, making this Mew super special, especially considering that it is flawless, shiny, is a legit rng'd hybrid of 2 near-identical 1-year-apart events for the same pokemon, has a secret id that spells out elite in hacker-speak, has an evet-compatible nature, is untouched, and is capable of fulfilling all the basic requirements of both the events when Pal-Parked, making them indistinguishable from the actual event. All this comes at a high price, as you lose all variety and customization when obtaining this, as only this exact 3gpkm meets the requirements of both Japanese GBA Mew events in complete harmony. So again, I hope nobody minds that I released these, and that RoC will put the mew, savestate/files, and other data in his github collection and the event gallery, while HaxAras/InsaneNutter do the same thing, but add the Mew to the FR save instead as either an Ingame Event, or a Japanese PokePakku Mew. BTW I did not mess with the mew's generation at all. I just do not want to see massive clones of this Mew floating around on WiFi, as I want this freely available, yet just as valuable as ever due to it's stats, similar to how Eppie distributed his similar Shiny Mew. Thank you for following my rules! Now go have fun with this Mew... Reasonably, of course!

  13. Hi, the imgur post and save file is mine. I have not used this name online for many many years but seems appropriate for this forum! Suloku found me and I was happy to bring all these Mews together into one save. I have no problems with distribution of these files, since at this point Mew is very easy to obtain and they were only gathering dust in my collection. Here are both the retron5 save file and one converted for use in emulators or tools Retron5 Format Save File: https://goo.gl/f2XZhs Converted Save File: https://goo.gl/tr06GS Again big thanks to Suloku and the Pokémon project forums for being such an amazing resource for Pokémon game preservation and analysis. You guys really kick ass! Trip
