  1. @suloku hey hey, Just curious about whether you intend to work on injecting and extracting trainers to Trainer Hill, added by e-cards to Pokemon Emerald (I checked a save that had it done, and the trainer definitely got added, but isn't being dumped by .ect)

The Pokémon Battle e are e-Reader cards that utilized the e-Reader compatibility of the main series games, to give players extra content beyond the ones programmed into the games. They can be obtained as promos or from booster packs. Examples of various English e-Reader cards can be seen here. These are the sets that are presently in the set: 1. Pokémon Battle e: Series 1 (08-A001 to 08-A048) 2. Pokémon Battle e: Series Promo cards 08-P001 to 08-P004 3. Pokémon Battle e: American Pokémon Ruby Promo card 129-B001 4. Pokémon Battle e: American Pokémon Sapphire Promo card 129-B002 These e-Card trainers can be injected using @suloku's tool.

For Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, the paired games had an exclusive feature that allowed them to scan e-Reader Cards and obtain a special berry. Pokémon holding these berries were not allowed to be traded to other main series games. Pokémon holding these berries were also not allowed to be traded to Colosseum or XD, nor transferred to Pokémon Box: Ruby and Sapphire. Once you scanned the e-reader card (or injected the berry card data), you can collect the berry from Norman in Petalburg City Gym. Pokémon holding these berries were allowed to be Pal Parked into Generation IV, however their held item would become the Enigma Berry. In Generation III, there is no legitimate way to acquire the Enigma Berry, as it is merely a placeholder in those games. Additionally, the data for these e-Card Berries do not exist in the ROM data of the Gen III games; the e-Card data is loaded into the save, and the game uses the placeholder Enigma Berry to display the stored data. So in reality, the player is merely holding onto the Enigma Berry, but the player would not know, as the data shown belongs to the e-card Berry scanned. These e-Card berries can be injected using @suloku's tool.

Out there in the wild, exists a German Language Debugger's/Developer's Edition of Pokemon Ruby Version, which contains many debugging tools, including Mystery Event distribution subroutines. Using the Mimic e-Card option in the Test Menu, the game emulates receiving an Eon Ticket, which is notably different from the standard one players get from an official distribution. [We will not distribute the Debug Ruby Rom, and it is against our rules to ask for it]

These are Pokemon FireRed savefiles which contain a compilation of legit event Pokemon for the Generation 3 games (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen). These savefiles have been in development by several ProjectPokemon members since April 2016, but has been hosted exclusively on another website. As of now, these savefiles will be concurrently hosted on ProjectPokemon as well. The Genaration III Pokemon games had a ton of events, many of which are extremely hard to obtain today. The Gen III games predate any sort of internet trading, and the event Pokemon from this generation have often been migrated up to newer Pokemon games. These factors make it quite hard to find legitimate event Pokemon for Gen III. The only way we can expect to obtain more event Pokemon for Gen III is if others share their save/pk3 files, so please consider sharing if you happen to have some! To learn more about Pokemon events in Generation 3, you can look over the following pages: List of English event Pokémon distributions in Generation III List of Japanese event Pokémon distributions in Generation III List of Journey Across America event Pokémon distributions List of Party of the Decade event Pokémon distributions List of PCNY event Pokémon distributions in Generation III List of Gather More Pokémon! Campaign event Pokémon Pokémon Colosseum Bonus Disc ----- The main savefile contains the following event Pokemon in each box: Box 1 & 2: 10th Anniversary (Europe, Top 10 Distribution) + Aura Mew Here we have a full set of all European 10th Anniversary Pokemon, each of the ten Pokemon in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The OT for each language is as follows: 10ANNIV (ENG), 10JAHRE (GER), 10ANNIV (FRE), 10ANNI (ITA), 10ANIV (SPA) These Pokemon were selected through a poll and later distributed at various locations in 2006 for the "Top 10" event throughout Europe to celebrate 10 years of Pokemon. We also have a full set of Aura Mew distributions from Europe, each in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. OT is the same for each language. Aura Mew was distributed at various locations in August 2007 throughout Europe. Note: The English 10ANNIV distribution rom and English Aura Mew distribution rom have been released to the public. Unlike the English 10ANNIV, the English Aura Mew will distribute all five languages of Aura Mew. Due to legality reasons, the roms can not be shared here, but a simple Google search should help. JAA has the TID 00010, and PotD has the TID 06808. JAA has an extra distribution that makes this set unique, that being Celebi. PotD has a unique Pikachu that differs from the JAA counterpart, due to knowing the move Fly. 8. It’s a common term, typically referring to placing stuff directly in the SD card card, and not in the folders in the SD card. if you’re SD card is E:/ then paste it there, not in any further folders inside.

As part of the Let's Go Pikachu promotion worldwide (except Korea), various Cap Pikachu were given away to players via the common code. The common code for Alola Cap Pikachu is "LETSGO19PIKACHU". These codes worked for US, EU, JP and TW versions of the 3DS console. For the JP and TW versions, they can only receive the English version of the wonder card, regardless of language they're playing on. For the whole duration, players playing Ultra Sun on a US console on FRE language, were given the English card by mistake. 16. @namity As it's been a few months, I'm not sure if you've gotten an answer yet, but if you haven't, I've got one. The e-Reader + was only released in Japanese, so if you find it, it will always be in said language. I used Dolphin and VBA M for the whole process; the rom is online. Hope this helps. Also, thank you to everyone who discovered this and posted about it...my brother and I have long wondered about accessing the Card e Room in Colosseum, and we're glad to finally do it!

  21. Thinking about R/S/E and the berry system patch, the e-berry and the special trainer, I'm thinking if there is a way to apply a patch in HG/SS installing it in the savegame, to use the patch with the retail games. A patch to fix 2 items with another usage, fix the Mahogany granny market, some texts and routines and door links. Could be possible? I have not made all these edits in my hack, but I'm curious to know if could be possible or if I must will need of a 3DS app to play the game with the patch or a patch trough the NDS 2-card slot.
  22. What happens if you use a Japanese e-reader? I'm aware the original printed cards are Japanese, and they must be scanned by a Japanese e-reader.
  23. Dot codes are region locked. If you're trying to use E-Cards that have been modified for use with an English E-reader, it won't work when scanned by a Japanese E-reader +.
  24. Hello everyone, today I want to consult something that I have not been able to recreate in an emulator for a long time. The situation is the following: I have tried using Dolphin emulator and VBA-M to recreate the download of the E-Cards for Phenac Stadium and in that way to have that event in the game of Pokemon Colosseum in japan language. The problem arises when I try to get the E-reader + ROM to try to read the .raw files, it always says "Region Error", or if I try to connect the 2 games, it says "Connection Error". Can you help me with this inconvenience ?, is a subject that I have not been able to solve alone, in these cases I think it is better to ask for help. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and pay attention.
