Friend Code (Nintendo Switch)

Friend Code (3DS)

NNID (Wii U)

1. Hi All I cannot get my Pokémon from pkhex onto my game. I am doing very thing on you tube video said about make Pokémon on pkhex them I add the files to my SD card them I put it back into my Nintendo 3ds xl and go into the Pokémon y game them Internet browser them go into URL and put in loadcode.projectpokemon.org but I do not get my Pokémon. Frist my ver is 10.7.0-32 E is there any way for me to get my Pokémon or is there any time in future so that people like me can Pokémon there make in the past into Pokémon game. I use to you pokemon check to get my legal pokemon but know that I found pkhex I thought that I had found I way to make legal pokemon again and I could add them to my pokemon game
2. Wow, that is a great tool you made Team Fail! Actually there are more e-Cards already dumped and out there on the internet. But they are all in raw format and not available as bin files as far as I know. Though you could decode them to bin with Caitsith2's nedcenc.exe they wouldn't have the same format as yours. But they contain the proper vpk data which is still usefull in my opinion! Just remove the first 81 bytes and the last 98 bytes of the decoded bin to get the vpk. This can then be "fixed" by recreating the 54 bytes header to get a proper bin in usable format. Here's my fixed version of the Ginema Berry. Maybe you already know, but Japanese e-Card data can only be used properly on Japanese e-Readers since the game will just get an loading error when trying to receive the data on an English game. Also the e-Card does contain text which will appear corrupted. Ginema Berry (JP).zip
3. I was given a bunch of Emerald and FRLG e-cards yesterday, so I'm working on being able to edit trainers, and I intend to start working on berry editing soon as well. I presume I can probably take the Ginema Berry data and perhaps region-convert it and get it working on a USA copy of the e-Reader (And perhaps get it imported into USA copies of Ruby/Sapphire!). Thanks for that card, it'll definitely be welcoming to get more additions to this collections after I sort through the Emerald and FRLG Japanese cards (These of which can lead to custom Battle Tower games in the Japanese copies of those games). I've also been planning on working to creating a BIN converter to make them able to be scanned using a dot code. I plan to test this when I get an actual e-Reader, which I hope to accomplish tomorrow morning, else get one on eBay and hope that the card reader works.
4. The thing is that the script is custom made by morfeo and in spanish and we rather want to stick to the original scripts and don't mix things up too much with customized hacks. So we have to think about every step very carefully. Also because we already had some technical issues with the size of the data. We had some issues with the PCNY Eggs, because we had to extend the script for them, because they had 2 Special Moves instead of just one. lostaddict managed to solve this but it showed how difficult and also dangerious it is and I don't want to be responsible for corrupt save data or overwritten flags or whatever could happen. But I already have some ideas how we could make it possible to make Pokémon and Egg Events with more than just 1 Special Move, so don't worry about that. I learned a lot of things from the data I dumped from the official distributions and I think I already know about how such issues could be prevented. I also thought about doing some translation work of my own. Especially since there are still missing Eon Ticket Scripts which we might never get. We also could translate the Japanese e-Card Regi Doll Script for Ruby & Sapphire into all languages. The same goes for the e-Card Berries. We will definitely think about this in the future and might extend this project to the Mystery Events, it already happened actually.
5. Alright, thanks for the help! I already intended to get the Japanese E-Reader and cards. I have a modded Wii as well as 2 region free disks and English and Japanese copies of all the gen 3 games in English and Japanese. I hope to someday use them on my original Colosseum save.
6. This stuff is really confusing, are the e-Cards even part of this Mystery Gift Event? From my understanding the e-Reader function and Mystery Gifts are 2 completely different things. And from what I know the Event includes only the Trainer Room in Sootopolis City or Sevii Island 7. We should better not mix things up... I can help you later with studying the password system. There was a Tool Takasan made for the Trainer Room in Sootopolis City. (Emerald only) But I haven't checked it out yet, so I dunno if it has to with this... I mean it's no problem if we work on other things, too. And I'm very interested in enabling other Events... Without new save files and informations there is not much to do for me in the moment anyway... As a matter of fact I'm currently working on enabling the Eon Ticket Mystery Event in Emerald. And here is the first result: EDIT: This Eon Ticket should be sendable via record mixing. But I haven't tested this out yet...
7. Haha what perfect timing for this! I had borrowed an e-Reader from a friend over a decade ago and I had a lot of fun scanning in my Pokémon cards that had minigames on them, but when I learned that you could also get events using Mystery Events in R/S, I was bummed that I couldn't do any of that until I thought of my workaround the other night. I was able to, after a bit of playing around, get a custom code to generate that could be scanned after I finally got the first ever custom Battle-e card working. I put a proof-of-concept trainer with my own team on it to try it out, and it does work. I'm working on purchasing an e-Reader (Hopefully today if any places in the city have one) and attempt to make use of the code by use of scanning. Not for e-Reader stuff specifically as far as I know, but there is an IRC I frequent on, and we can join their main channel, or even make an e-Reader specific channel on there.
8. So I'm not sure if anyone is following this anymore, but since i have all the hardware and cards I've manage to scan the battle e cards into English version of Colosseum i have taken some shot of what happens when scanned. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vzp4z38iajdscff/20150706_202201.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/2tbjymnluqepbpk/20150706_195741.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/fwejqo0pyt9syx9/20150705_191858%20%281%29.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/0ybp7i0qps5pspx/20150705_191829%20%281%29.jpg?dl=0
9. All I wait about the e-reader now is what is this unreleased 21st us card in pokemon colosseum? It can be really interesting to force-load this content. Source: https://tcrf.net/Pok%C3%A9mon_Colosseum
10. Hello,Kaphotics and everyone, thanks for your great works and update in pkhex, this software makes me feel really free in this game. My game environment is GW card, PMOR 3ds rom, Japanese version new 3ds 9.1 with virtual 11. I have found three bugs with pkhex editing my PMOR save recently, pls help me  1. After I click Pokedex editor, modify(the middle button) - complete Dex, modify(the right button)- seen all, then export the main file and import back to my GW 3ds PMOR rom,if I click pokedex in game and view any pokemon's "more appearence" with A button, then this jumps out everytime 2.Everytime in game I try to edit the pokemon name or box name or slogan of secret base, anything with the text editor in game, black screen again, but I'm not sure if this is a pkhex bug, any suggestions? 3.Secret base editor in pkhex, only for Secrect base No.0-9, any edit even just apply the original secret base content back, jump out bug report window; however No.10-30 is all ok and well editable. 11. Right now, everything is based purely on the e-Reader end of things, since Mystery Events did not use Wondercards, rather stuff was sent and a message telling you something was displayed (Such as the Eon Ticket telling you to visit Norman or saying a new trainer arrived in Hoenn when using a Battle-e card). Mystery Gift, on the other hand, did. If I can find a way to rip Pokémon Fire Red/Leaf Green/Emerald events, then that'd definitely be a possibility, although some events were distributed as e-Reader events in Japan since the e-Reader flourished there much better than it did in North America (Hence its axing in Europe).
12. Ahh... I see... interesting to know. Thanks for this information... Yeah, maybe that's why it's called "Trainer Card"-Event... hehe... Because of "e-Cards" or so... A bit sad that that we can't solve the password part. At least I don't know an efficient way to do this. EDIT: I did some Rom Research and I think I finally understand now what you meant before... I realized that the word the 2F Pokémon Center guy tells you to use in the questionnaire is there. In the Japanese default Script he says: 「すごい トレーナ くれ くれ」 While in the English Versions it's: “GIVE ME AWESOME TRAINER” But there's no effect when you use this in the PokéMart survey. Possibly the Script is incomplete, there seems stuff missing for it. Can't even see where the Trainer Data should coming from. Even if a Wireless Adapter is attached, nothing happens. edit: Damn, you already explained this, I should have read your posts more closely.
13. This is alarming news... Did you guys see this latest news yet? * It's confirm that it works great with Ninjhax 2.0 for loading homebrew and region free games on firmware 9.9.0-26.(07/20/2015) * It's confirm that sky3DS works great with Ninjhax 2.0 on V9.9.0-26!(07/20/2015) * It's confirmed! SKY3DS can support newest 3DS V9.9.0-26U/E/J/K. (07/14/2015) Flash card cost too much for my budget... But once I get the funds... I will try this out
14. This has nothing to do with the thread - make your own. Sorry if this is a bit of a bump, and you might know this already but w/e. If you have Ninjhax you can install Braindump and dump your rom onto your SD Card on a 3ds up to v10.2 I believe. For Ninjhax you need cubic ninja, which can be bought for about $50. A more complicated alternative is the N3DS exploit for sm4sh, but it's only recommended if you have a lot of time on your hands and you know what you're doing. Once you edit your decrypted rom, you can rebuild it and run it with HANS. If you need help, you can PM me and I will try my best to help. But unless you get a Gateway(which idk if it works on v9.9) your best bet is Ninjhax. Good luck.
15. That's because the for the script doesn't comes from the rom. It's downloaded from the distribution device/e-card and is saved temporarily on the save file. In europe the language had to be selected on the distribution device. You can see this on the pic from the Pokémon Day of 2004 in Germany which BlackShark posted earlier: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?46883-GEN-3-Mystery-Gift-Research&p=208586&viewfull=1#post208586 This must have been the case for all european distribution devices. The really BAD thing is that at the end of the "Receiving Script" (after the Eon Ticket is received and the script comes to an end) there is a killscript command (0x0D). So we would definitely need save files with still intact script, which means the Eon Ticket should be unclaimed.
16. Tried using the earlier version and now my flash card and desmume isn't reading the save I want to add 4 Pokemon to the save, what am I doing wrong? I was using 3.2 so I could add it but even that dun work Using 3.3 is buggy as all heck and your new one doesn't seem to work as easily I don't understand... Edit: Ok, I can put my 3.2 save in your newer one but again it seems to have issues like mentioned above Included is a download link (or 'attachment') to this modified save. I'm a real impatient person and since I'm basically responding while you're asleep and vice versa, and I don't know saves, I figured help could be wanted. I'm sorry if this an inconvenience, it is for me too I say my flash card because normally I play on there and it normally reads saves flawlessly. However it's saying it's corrupted. I don't know what's wrong in the case. 06689 - Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Blue Rescue Team (E)(M5).sav

18. Just wanted to give this a gentle nudge. Yesterday was a day full of research and coding, and with the help of SciresM, the application can now handle modified e-Card data safely. That is, it is now possible to edit the e-Card data, and the program will ensure that the checksums are correct (And if they're not, it'll attempt to fix it), as well as the size of the compressed data, known as VPK data, within the save file. It now means I can do this: The data is now fully editable and recompressable with the assistance of caitsith's application, nvpktool. It was also caitsith that found the CRC method, and I attempted to port it to C# from C, while SciresM fixed it completely. So feel free to toss him a thanks if you do make use of the application! Anyways, the OP has been updated with a new link to Poké-Reader 1.1.
19. I've never had a problem getting the Colosseum Bonus disk to work for me. The Regi dolls also aren't that unobtainable. I know I posted a save file of Ruby on this site a couple weeks ago that had the regi dolls in it. I also scanned them into an Emerald save and that's on another forums. I'll be using this tool quite a lot now that I know it exists. I'll report to you any problems or bugs I might find. Edit: Well, I guess I found one problem. It keeps crashing. I was slowly moving my Pokemon from various saves into the tools PC and then it crashed. I booted it back up and it just crashed again. If you're looking for suggestions for features: A way to move multiple Pokemon at once. Not only is it tedious moving one Pokemon at a time. But my arm just fell asleep and now it's tingling. I try to avoid using my computer mouse for extended periods of time to prevent this from happening, but still. I'm also adding my Ruby save with the decoration Present scanned in for anybody who wants the Regi Dolls. They were scanned in using a legit E-reader and card so if you don't mind clones of the real thing, here ya go! Edit 2: I take it this is in reference to different languages? I was able to move Pokemon from a Spanish Colosseum save and items from my Japanese Ruby save. Every single time I even click on a Pokemon from my Japanese Colosseum, the program crashes. I was able to right click and move a Japanese Pokemon but as soon as I was trying to place it, the program crashed.
20. I'm sorry... was a bit lazy today... Thank you so much for all the informations. Especially the enigma berry e-card checksum looks very interesting to me. But it needs some dmp files. I'm curious about the content of these files. It's definitely worth to be checked out. Even tho' I can't tell if this really is what we need just by the look of it. It's a complex routine too, but different than what we have from Morfeo. Still... very interesting. Currently I try to get some informations about the Rom. Hopefully to find more informations about all the checksum validations the game makes use of... but I couldn't get much informations yet. There's a hack which caught my attention. The name is CrystalDust. It even has hacked Wonder Cards as you can see here: Maybe the creator knows something about the checksum or he just have set the checksum validation off. It's a hack after all. But I wanted to post this for those who like hacks. Funny stuff...
21. Thank you very much for the information. Some things about berries: * Region 0xC-0x13 (8 bytes) is 0x00 in the e-card data, but once in the save it has data (unknown meaning) * Region 0xC-0x13 (8 bytes) is interpreted as being 0x00 when the berry checksum is calculated (same method as for RS mistery event). * USA berries work on jap games, but description won't shown. More info on what makes them different is needed, but I've read it has to do with text string lengths, but the other data for the berry might be in the same offsets. Export/import berry has been added (0x41A set to 0x01 when injecting). Berry editor coming. I also need to add handling of the different checksum calculation for mistery event in emerald. Is there any information about what mistery event was used for in JAP Emerald and FRLG? Besides eon ticket on emerald I know nothing. EDIT: http://puu.sh/oL61R/0fd6e7af9e.png http://puu.sh/oL6BM/42a4d0a9a0.png Only the "usage by trainer" field is missing from editor, but it is rather complicated, so I'm leaving it for later.. It'd be great if I could convert png files to berry sprites and vice versa, but it's probably too complicated for me and there's surely some gen 3 sprite editors out there. If I get the file format I could export/import berry sprite from that format. There seems to be some upper/down limits to the berry propierties, as I set all to max and the berry wasn't recognized by the game. I'll check what the values are tomorrow.
22. @suloku That should work. Well, a while ago I made this. It's a script to reset the clock. Unfortunately it doesn't really do what I wanted. I just wanted to be able to change the current ingame time, but if you set the clock with this script (it was actually taken from the clock in the players room) you will start from day 0 again. This script is based on the e-Card script, so you have to talk to Norman. The first script is how it looked like in the ROM after compiling. The second script is how it should look like in the script region to actually work, you have to use virtual commands there instead of the regular ones. It seems these virtual commands are not even supported by script editors, so you have to compile with the regular commands first and exchange them manually afterwards. Here's a list of commands http://www.pokecommunity.com/showpost.php?p=7562756&postcount=24063 #org 0x874011E '----------------------------------- msgbox 0x8740136 ' It seems your clock ... callstd MSG_NOCLOSE ' Non-closing message call 0x874012E releaseall end #org 0x87412E '----------------------------------- fadescreen FADEOUT_BLACK special 0x9A waitspecial return #org 0x8740136 = It seems your clock is stopped...\nYou should reset it now! #org 0x61 '----------------------------------- setvirtualaddress 0x2000061 lock faceplayer virtualmsgbox 0x200007F waitmsg waitkeypress virtualcall 0x2000077 releaseall end #org 0x2000077 '----------------------------------- fadescreen FADEOUT_BLACK special 0x9A waitspecial return #org 0x200007F = It seems your clock is stopped...\nYou should reset it now! It can be injected into EU/US Ruby/Sapphire with this AR code. USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, this sets the day count back to 0!
23. @suloku These are all the offsets used by the Mystery Gift and Mystery Event features. Record Mixing Items Structure 0x00 32 bit checksum of 0x04 - 0x07 0x04 Amount 0x05 Distribution counter 0x06 Itemindex The Eon Ticket script from the US e-Card has laready been posted somewhere in this thread. I currently can't find that post, but this is it. Unfortunately there's a killscript command at the end, so once you received your Eon Ticket the script is gone. //--------------- #org 0x61 setvirtualaddress 0x2000061 checkitem 0x113 0x1 compare LASTRESULT 0x1 virtualgotoif 0x1 0x20000BF checkpcitem 0x113 0x1 compare LASTRESULT 0x1 virtualgotoif 0x1 0x20000BF checkflag 0xCE virtualgotoif 0x1 0x20000BF lock faceplayer virtualmsgbox 0x20000C9 //"DAD["][player]! 24. Kinda surprised this place isn't much in-tune with getting these events preserved. Anyways, Bond697 pointed me to the direction of some GBA save editor source code. After making my way through the source, I managed to find some checksum stuff I needed to validate the trainer data checksum in the save data. And with that... Battle-e cards are now fully editable and distributable.
25. Same here. I always get wrong results. To be honest, I don't trust Morfeo... After reading his note in the txt file I thought there is no way he would hand out everything. When you ask me, he didn't gave us the full algorithm. If we're lucky there is only 1 step missing or an built-in error. I think the hint on the save file says it all: He talks about earning the last piece. I think this is a challenge... But where is the key to solve this puzzle? I also hoped it's maybe just an false initial seed. That's what I wanted to try next, but since BlackShark already tried it... The bin file seems ok, too. I will check more about this later because there are still open questions. Now I already reaching my limit. What could we try next? Change the algorithm? I think the step with the binaries (changing 0s to 1s and 1s to 0s) is a bit awkward. Looks suspicious IMO even tho' I have seen this before. Just my feeling. What could we change else? We should try everything possible we could do with this. If this doesn't help I think there's more research to do. I want to avoid making it too complicated, if nothing is left it's all about trial and error. As mentioned before, I got this feeling that the key is in the Rom itself. We have to consider Rom Research as an option. I already try to get informations about the checksum validations inside the Rom. It's just a bit difficult to get exact informations about them, maybe it's better to ask someone who knows about this well. If we could find something that sounds similar to Morfeo's Algorithm this would be great. And I have another idea. What about the e-Cards? The e-Card Events work in a very similar way to the Mystery Gift Events. They are also temporarely saved, I guess even in the same locations as our Mystery Gift Events. There was another Thread on the Board about this Topic which btw. inspired me to open this one here. EDIT: Some more informations regarding the Japanese Wonder Cards from the Tools. While looking a few years back on Taka's Page. In found some interesting stuff he mentioned... http://web.archive.org/web/20040929044716/http://www.h6.dion.ne.jp/~taka.999/index.html Translation powered by Google Translate: He's said that he starts the modification of the Wonder Card. He found several Texts in the Rom which seem to be connected to the Mystery Gift feature. One is for an Egg Present, another one for the Trainer Room in Sootopolis City, one for the Altering Cave and the last one for the Old Sea Map. That's how he came to the idea about making custom Wonder Cards. As you can see this was in September 2004. It was a bit later after he wrote the diary where he dumped the Aurora Ticket and the Mystic Ticket and created the first tool. It also explains why one of the Old Sea Map Wonder Cards is blue ,because the Old Sea Map wasn't distributed yet and it also explains the other custom WCs from the Tools and PAR Codes.
