The website on the outer surface was quite "friendly" and "less serious" and more casual back in the early days, but I guess this site became more specialised in the research area, so it calls for a more professional outlook on things. It is not a bad thing to be serious I think, especially if it helps the main part of this website's function. That being said, I could not take myself serious at all if I came about saying XD LAWL or whatever lingo that comes up these days, if that is what you mean by being "less serious". I do not know what you really mean by it though, but I think that is what you mean. Maybe I was more like that in the past, but times change. On a personal level some of us can be more relaxed than you would think they are. But in actual forums post, it serves little to no purpose to say things you would say on your normal chatting medium. It does not make us any less approachable though. Before the forum interface changed, I had like some crazy number of visitor message posts on my wall, interactions with many people here, and many came and went. And the one thing I cannot stand in any case is just sheer stupidity, and we did not have a shortage of that. No need to throw wood into the fire or cast pearls unto swines, I say. So it calls for no nonsense in the end. I could always have a friendly exchange with anyone, or even trade/battle Pokemon on the Wifi, and I have no problem with that. In fact, I thought over the past few years we were somewhat lacking that kind of interaction we had in the early days. But I say in the end, being serious is proper on the boards, and I personally feel this board has relaxed since the past few years too. As long as it is not something like this: I think I am fine, or I will end up infracting you for spam. There. That is my sixpence involving this matter. Jolly good.

Shiron eh? Yeah sounds about right! I do not know an equivalent in English so I said thing. When we say hayangi, it usually is like a pet name for some white, I guess animal/creature/sentient being. Some people call their white cat hayangi for example. I did that to my white chicken as opposed to my black chicken, which we call 까망이 (kkamangi). The 이 thing at the end I guess is like the n in shiron, because shiro would be the actual word for white, and would refer to animal or whatever. I looked at the site, there is nothing about it yet. You ought to sleep. I once stayed up for 57 hours straight (I think that was the number, however ungodly it was), and it did numbers on me. You do not want to start seeing things that are not there, et al. Whoever made that quiz should specify how to spell the Nidoran names. It is just a quiz anyways, I am sure most of us know what Nidorans are. I will give it a go sometime later and see what gets accepted. It really does not matter if you get 100% or not. But if you do not know the original 151, maybe you started the game at another generation. Understandable, there are a couple of people like that here. I still do not know all the Pokemon from the Alolan generation anyways, nor do I care to, but if I see them I will probably recognise what they are.

Okay. That one took quite a bit of thinking, particularly ones like "how many types of ball are there" and "how many dragon types are there" kind of questions. It is hard to think of those off your head really, so I needed pen and paper for that. The other questions, though not intuitive for most, I believe, were things I could think and get, generally. I am not sure if it is randomised at all, but it was definitely a bit harder, sure. With the Nidoqueen question, that was tricky, because I knew she could learn most of the moves there, but Tackle she had as Nidoran F when I played my old Yellow version in the past. I know because I was training it really hard, but maybe Nidoqueen herself does not have Tackle in her repetoire, so I had to guess. How many dragons is also dumb, because I do not know if they count Megas or Alolan form. I think I counted 44, but that was not in the choice, so I went with the number higher than it.

Eh this quiz was not even remotely challenging. The only thing bugging me is the mouse movement not working. There has to be a better one than this. It is not bad though. I am just glad there was no anime/manga questions.

Just want to say this that Trump is no Emperor or a monarch of any kind, but yet another head of state elected and belonging to a political faction (and even then monarchs always are kept in check by the aristocracy and his own people). Even in old Chinese proverb there is a saying, "The emperor's power stops at the village's gates", which is something to think about. Your personal life, other than some crocodile tears, probably has not been affected to some significant degree. Not denying that there are some who may have been, but do these liberals who scream and cry bloody murder really even care about them anyways, or just to forward their political agenda? It does not matter really what they do, Trump is still head of state of the USA, and no amount of monkey crying will change that. With all the surveillance stuff and how many people are connected electronically, it is more possible than ever to actually wield this type of power. It is all meaningless post-election trauma, yet I have never seen it being so politicised with other presidential candidates, I think. Media hyping things up, and I do not like to call them fake news, though it is funny. I just call them what it is: LIES. Though the president of South Korea had to go and has been replaced with her opposing candidate now, it does not work that way in the States, I imagine.

I'm no supporter of Trump, but everyone so far that has talked against him are whiny liberals who like to groupthink within a false dialectic, or are mere puppets who just follow the trend to hate Trump. I think most of you detractors are not even Americans, so I do not even know why you say these things. I doubt his claims to be Christian, as his fruits seem to show otherwise, but I was pleasantly surprised at his first moments in office were actually pretty good, though there were some ups and downs, and some things I see I do not like. Right now though? I am mainly indifferent, but things are not "hell on earth" like these rabblerousers tend to claim it is. Their personal lives have not been affected, things just go on as usual. I really do not understand this "oh the US will regress back a couple of decades". What exactly do they mean by that? That men who identify themselves as women can no longer go into women's restrooms? How exactly is that a bad thing? Also this open borders thing is nonsense. See what has occurred in Europe, with the EU dictating an unmoderated amount of migrants who do not care to assimilate but to cause trouble in countries where their values are incompatible with the others. It would be natural to have that kind of reaction, would it not? The travel ban thing has been implemented poorly, yes, as I remember the first one causing some huge problems with people who were already in the state or something, but it is a proper reaction any sane Americans would want to combat ILLEGAL immigrants. There are also blatantly false propaganda being put up as well, such as "oh this Muslim woman (notice it has to be a minority woman of course) who almost found a cure for cancer and now is being deported". Really, laughable. How things are going about now, I do not know. Of course the big bogeyman now is "da Russians". Yet Killary's email scandals and Benghazi stuff, which actually has substantial proof of being true, are not put under the same scrutiny, but of course Trump's connection with the Russians, despite actual hard evidence but liberal parroting, is now all of a sudden the smoking gun! I have little understanding of this matter clearly. I do not have to defend Trump nor do I want to, but the fact people have these unsubstantiated claims about him makes me wonder are people really this stupid, or does mass media really have such a huge impact on people's thoughts that they are now unable to think for themselves? I have my own reasons to be against him per se, even if I do like a lot of the things he does say, but not for the silly reasons the brainwashed liberals tend to say. He is miles better than Obama, I will say that much. But I remember speaking to some Americans, when I said I do not support their Democrat Party or whatever, I am automatically paired along as "Trump supporter". It is like they cannot get off this dichotomic point of view of you're either this or that. Perhaps this propaganda is global really. Good grief. I can go in every single one of the threads and replace them, but since the sprite tags do not work anymore, it may be painful. I also need to host every single sprites of every single Pokemon someplace without hotlinking to another site if I want to do that. I think because there is very little attention to the warstories board there seems to be little priority in fixing the interface of this boards. Sorry. I could do it manually, but it may take me eternity. I do not think there is much priority given to restoring the sprites hosted in this site at the moment though, sorry. Also some people did not even put sprites in their own stories. I also lost a lot of good pictures that would have made it more interesting ;_;

Wow this game is either very unstable or they are discovering the bugs now. I worked so hard to record some nice battle videos for Battle Tree back in 1.0 and then come 1.1 the patch breaks every single one of my battle videos. I was upset about that, so I actually do not know if I should even touch battle videos again in this series. Nothing of that sort happened in XY.

MD is a different series altogether. I see boards in the game where gender neutral Pokemon like Bronzong can be referred to as 'she' or Magnezone as 'he', depending on the mission. It's to give it more personality, which frankly I'm not too opposed to. Languages that is not English does assign gender to things yes, but it's a bit different here, so we can think of it as such. (Source: I know at least 7 languages). They dumped + 40 into MMYs Attack, which it is not used for, and cut off its Def points by 20, making it more susceptible to revenge killing, even to the point where a single Choice Banded Brave Bird from Talonflame is enough to succumb.. Also its speed gain is + 10, bringing it to 140, which is not fast enough for it to run Modest, and still lags behind things like Mega Alakazam, who has a speed of 150. It also means it is unable to beat something like Mega Beedrill, which I find stupid. In addition, a Life Orb regular Mewtwo outdamages the 194 SpA MMY without an item. I think because this was one of the earlier Megas, they tried to 'balance' it. But they balanced it a little too well, making it as average as a regular mon. We have other legends like Kyogre/Groudon who also got + 40 on their non-used attack stat, but they have a broken ability, does not take a Mega slot, and are overall better. Let's not talk about how ridiculously broken Mega Rayquaza is... who designed that? Mewtwo is one of my favourites, so it does disappoint. I think they gave it Insomnia to "counter" Darkrai, but Aura Sphere also got nerfed to 80 base power, making it focus on using Focus Miss to OHKO relevant targets. Mono-Psychic STAB also isn't as great vs the other super legendaries who generally resist it or are even immune to it. It's not unique by any means and other legends have more merit than MMY. I'm really angry about that. However, that + 20 SpDef is a blessing in disguise, allowing it to live certain moves that it could not as a regular Mewtwo. I would honestly cut the Attack boosts, bring back its Defence to 90 (no point in cutting it, really), and probably bring the speed to 160 or even 170, so it can at least have something to claim over things like Mega Alakazam. Sure it's bulkier, but it does not follow its design very well and usually you are better off with regular Mewtwo or some other Pokemon altogether

I am not sure what the nature of this question is. Competitively speaking, two play different roles. Mew is more versatile and can fulfill many roles, while Mewtwo is a powerful attacker with two Mega forms to boot, although Mega Mewtwo Y is pretty useless and you are better off using regular one (they allocated the stats wrong and that is one thing they MUST fix). Mew is useful as Baton Passing valuable stats, or utility with other moves, or even just straight up attacking if you want. The fact it is unpredictable makes it useful in many battles, but generally banned in official tourneys because it is a special mon. Mewtwo is almost always banned too and I guess I can safely say there was nothing as powerful as RGBY Mewtwo. Mewtwo is almost always offensive in nature, but can also play defensively because it has some decent defences (it is akin to Swampert's/Garchomp's number wise). One on one Mewtwo almost always wins, but that's not Pokemon: it's really how well they fit in your team. Yeah and Mew does not learn every moves, just every TMs/HMs/tutors. The one that can potentially learn all is Smeargle, but its stats are not nearly as usable, so it is relegated as utility. EDIT: This isn't really a debate thread. I'm moving this to Franchise or something.

Get used to the new mechanics then. Some changes I do not like, but I just came to live with it. Things like that is probably for the better, because Thundurus Prankster TWave was disgusting. One thing I disliked about Gen 6 was the nerfing of special attacks, and these things come to pass because Gamefreak thinks they balance for doubles, but they generally seem clueless overall. I have a lot to say about the guys in charge of this game, but saying stuff will not do anything. But if you would like, we can have quick battles within this week, though I should be studying.
