  1. I haven't counted in total, but up to 10 base sets of mews are missing from the distribution save. Within the 10 sets there are 50 total mews. For that reason Legal will use an algorithm to determine if its possible to be one of the missing pokemon. To give you an idea of what we are talking about, here are some numbers: There are a total of 421-426 Mews in existence. Of that there are 375 Mews which are CONFIRMED. That leaves a total of 46-50 Mews that cannot be accounted for. Using a prediction algorithm we know that there are a total of 327,675 Mews. Subtracting the 375 CONFIRMED Mews gives us a total of 327,300 possible Mews to fill the 50 that are unaccounted. This subset of 327,300 will be deemed the UNCONFIRMED Mews. The rest of the 4 billion PID/IV combinations will be HACKED. Since I cannot be sure that Mews sent to me are legit, I cannot add any to the confirmed list.
  2. All of the ageto's I have seen are unknown. Unknown algorithm is either colloseum/xd, or antishiny.
  3. Thanks to Windslayer, better trash byte support will be in the next version. I will also add in HG/SS trash byte support as he gets the pokemon to me. Also thanks to Twig for sharing his mew distribution cartridge with me. There will be three new types for MYSTRY mews. Hacked Mystry Mew - There is no possibility of being legal or legit. Unconfirmed Mystry Mew - Possibly one of the 50 missing mews although cannot be proven. Use discretion when trading with someone. Confirmed Mystry Mew - Confirmed as one of the distributed mews.
  4. Ageto most likely cannot be shiny.
  5. Its common for various EU countries to use English, German, or some other main language.
  6. Pingouin, thats the same as the people on our site using the PCDs to generate "legit" mystery gift pokes. They weren't at the event, nor could they ever be. In addition, we get the PCDs one or two weeks in advance. So on a STRICT level, in all of those cases its legal, yet not legit.
  7. Celebi is definitely legal. The question is whether it is legit or not.
  8. IV's and PID are not connected... they can be any combination you want. Just don't make it a shiny!
  9. Its a picture of a dev rom used to create pokemon.
  10. From what I can extrapolate, there are a total of roughly 340 RNG calls. I theorize 5 calls to create each of the 6 party Pokemon, with 4 calls for the first boxed pokemon. Each box pokemon after that are generated in lots of 5 with a total of 20 RNG calls up until the last pokemon. The question now is, when the seed resets... how is that determined? Also if you think about it, if you are generating 1 pokemon, it will ALWAYS be GCR... get my drift? The GCU comes from generating MORE than 1 pokemon in the same lot. This also means that ALL GCU pokes distributed in this manner can be checked for an "original" seed based on how many were generated at once.
  11. The PCD's PID can be 0 or 1 for dynamic. The shiny check is as follows, if ( PID ) { cannot be shiny }....
  12. A program was definitely used....
  13. i did not include a "legal" because legal is a construct based on "blind" legality checking. MEANING you REALLY DON'T know the history of the pokemon (who cought it, and whether or not they were physically at the event). These pokemon lay in this grey area of, maybe or maybe not. This is not an issue of maybe or maybe not. In my example, I am taking the assumption that a kid went to Gamestop, and either by asking, or by an error in the date of the demo NDS lite, the kid acquired the celebi. The kid did NOT receive it from the wondercard on our site, the leaked rom, or another method (hypergts, etc). I am tending toward what Guested says. If you can prove that it was acquired ingest (with good faith, and without illegal means), then it should be legit. Otherwise its illegal. There are some traders who use the same protocol when deciding if ANY event pokemon is legit. Some traders will ONLY collect pokemon that they can PROVE originated from a person who was at the event.
  14. Because of the wrong poster date, the GameStop celebi was REPLACED with the Win2011 Celebi (also distributed at GameStop). Keep in mind that some people MAY consider this to be an illegally obtained Pokemon. Can you explain this further? Nintendo does not care to screw with people like you. If anything they would shut down the websites hosting the hypergts program first before they decide to "mess" with you.
  15. IVs and PID are independent with Mystery Gifts for D/P/Pt/HG/SS. The PID is generated very similar to other Pokemon (subject to a shiny check for wondercards with a template PID of 1), however the IVs (if I remember correctly), are generated via a timer/counter. According to what I remember of SCV explaining it, it goes through HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS if not MILLIONS of combinations of IVs per second. EDIT: SCV says that the seed (for IVs) is cycled by 1 via a counter/timer.
  16. Yes... lol
  17. THANK YOU!~~~ Someone wasn't asleep during that week :> EDIT: Added the German Entei. Renamed to WIN2011 for Johto Beasts.
  18. I already took care of that in terms of hosting it. I am challenging everyone's perception of what they consider to be legit vs illegal.
  19. edit: The understanding is that Nintendo/Game Freak screwed up, and both Celebi are viewed as Legit from their standpoint. Original post: We have found out recently that the GameStop Celebi that was on the Nintendo Distribution ROM with the Johto Beasts will NEVER be distributed. Would you still consider it legit? Please explain your thoughts! I keep thinking to myself, what if someone at GameStop advanced the date on the Demo NDS Lite to distribute the Celebi to kids who asked for it early? Is that kid's celebi now NOT LEGIT because Nintendo screwed up?
  20. To be honest, I personally still consider the ORIGINAL Celebi legit because it came from Nintendo, even if it was never used. But think about it... how many times in the past (that we don't know about) has Nintendo screwed up like this? EDIT: We still need german Entei!! Please share if you have it
  21. PLEASE KNOW, Legality Checker DOES NOT check for obvious things including the following: Pokeball caught in. Ribbons. Contest Stats Catch Dates Moves (in ANY capacity) Whether its nicknamed, or has the proper name. OT Gender OT Name (Most of the time its easy to spot, and yes this will change in future releases). Encounter Type (yes its not obvious, sorry... but its easy to spot-check). Platinum+ [Egg] Location vs Non-Platinum [Egg] Location (this will change in future releases).
  22. Legality Checker works for JEREMY pokes...
  23. Anyone ever got these? Apparently there are two sets of them.
  24. I added the korean Raikou, missing 2010 jirachi, and suicune. Still need korean johto beasts (Entei and Suicune), and German Suicune. Thanks everyone for contributing!!!
