  1. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?24589-B2W2-General-ROM-Info&p=160511&viewfull=1#post160511 32nd post down
  2. I meant did you do this: 1. open kiwi.ds 2. open trpoke and trdata narcs in kiwi 3. extracted the files with kiwi (615 per narc in BW, 813 in B2W2)
  3. Did you also extract the files in the narcs? It sounds like you just extracted the narcs from the ROM. The only other reason I can think of is that you selected the wrong version and picked an out of bounds index.
  4. There might be some static image files left over in the NARC file. Try replacing the files with animations with the files that have no animation to remove the animation.
  5. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?16582-LUA-Script&p=131824&viewfull=1#post131824 From 6th post down.
  6. I believe this has something to do with your palettes. When I looked at the pallets, I saw three different ones ({1}, {2, 3}, {4, 5, 6}) -> So, because of the different palettes, there will be mix ups and errors. Image 1's Palette: Image 2&3's Palette: Image 4,5&6's Palette: I think that you need to somehow merge the palettes. I tried it for one, (image 2) and I managed to get it to work with 4, 5, 6.
  7. Give some time before, since we all have things outside. Anyways, could you PM me the files you are using? I would like to test something, and see if it is able to fix the color glitch.
  8. Have you tried this workaround? http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?20235-Alder-Overworld-Sprite-Using-Fly&p=141494&viewfull=1#post141494
  9. 16 color limit. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?29651-BW-B2W2-General-FAQ&p=165197&viewfull=1#post165197
  10. I not sure what's happening with yours. Mine works perfectly. Are you extracting the files in the narc correctly with kiwi?
  11. Not a my computer now so I can't replicate the error. I suggest you try using Tinke. Learning to use Tinke will help with future projects. Edit: Frogot to ask - are you on Black One or Two?
  12. DSDecmp is an executable that should be in the same folder as BWME.exe or BWSE.exe. Anyways -> Make sure you are extracting the file correctly (Mugshots - Kiwi.ds, Backsprites - Tinke), check that you are selecting the correct folder, and if you are using the latest versions of BWSE/BWME for BW. If everything is correct but you still recieve an error, try opening the modifying the narc in Tinke.
  13. If you use KazoWar's BW tools, the readme's have narc locations. BWME - mugshot BWSE - overworld Both have export options.
  14. Hmm... Have you tried other programs like Tinke? Also, updated my above post for ver2. Also, on a side note, make sure you are using he correct narc.
  15. If you want to completely replace a trainer class: 1. a/0/0/2 - 191: http://projectpokemon.org/rawdb/black2/msg/383.php has trainer class name data. Edit with text editor (e.g. PPTXT, etc) 2. a/0/7/1 -> With BWSE, go to the appropriate index and change/replace the sprite. If I remember correctly, the index at a/0/7/1 corresponds to the trainer class index. 3. Optional, but you can always change the OW sprite. Just use BWOE. Also: Backsprites, not sure what you mean by that... Are you changing them?
  16. While I'm not sure about adding trainer classes, you can replace the sprites. Just download KazoWar's BW tools and use BWSE. NARC file location is in the readme's.
  17. There is an explanation about it as well as a file with all the actual names in the first link I gave you. ("Why is my fille corrupted...")
  18. PPTXT to change text. Look here for trainer list info: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?29651-BW-B2W2-General-FAQ&p=165199&viewfull=1#post165199 Using Extended: Search this thread->:http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?29170-Adding-New-Trainers-to-List-in-BWTE Adding: Scripting. I'm assuming you've already watched Kaphotics' video. Be sure to extend the trainer list if you add a new trainer.
  19. FYI: I would do a quick google search on BW map editing. I know PokeCommunity had one. BW/B2W2 mapping is pretty complex complex compared to AdvanceMap so it might take some time. Some useful(?) tools: SDSME, NPRE
  20. I'm assuming NPC and not text character. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?24589-B2W2-General-ROM-Info&p=161070&viewfull=1#post161070
  21. Check this page of the thread: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?11582-PPTXT-Text-editing-tool/page3
  22. Try searching through files that say overworld, sprites, etc. If all fails, then the alternate way is to do an entire search. I'll try to search too when I'm not busy anymore.
  23. Don't ask for ROM links. Search online for AP patch for Pokemon White (U). You can try here for an AR code.
