Ask them if they still have the old johto beast cartridge, and if so, ask them if you can get it. Boom, you now have a legit GAMESTOP celebi Although my guess is that they shipped it back already. To my knowledge there is no Celebi with that Id no. and OT. According to who? I say that it's illegitimate either way because it wasn't released officially by Nintendo. You can't really have both ways though. It's either Legit because some people got it from the Gamestop store. Or it's illegitimate beause you had to cheat the date to get it from a store or downloaded the Wonder Card. You can't say yes and no because eventually down the way in time you have no way of telling who actually got it from the store and how many people are going to be editing theirs to pass it off as getting it from the store. That's what I asked earlier though because everyone seems to be voting it Legit will it apply to only Celebi gotten from the store or all Celebi's period.

Use 1.4.2. 1.4.3 is still a bit glitchy when it comes to 4th Gen games. So you're best bet is to use 1.4.2.

Yes. As long as you have edited the Wonder Card to enable sharing (I suggest just making it Unlimited) and checked D/P/Pt/HG/SS then it should be able to share with whatever game with no problem.

No, there isn't any Celebi with that ID no. So unless he got it wrong then his Celebi is hacked.

No, in the 4th Gen eggs are "Met At" Lv. 0. Whilst in 5th Gen eggs are "Met At" Lv. 1. I can upload Pkm files showing this that I've hatched myself in both 4th & 5th Gen.

Someone getting it in good faith most likely wouldn't even know to ask for the Celebi. By the time it was even officially announced Gamestop stores most likely had the WIN2011 Distro Carts already. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they had the WIN2011 Carts before the B/W Mall Tour started seeing as we got the Distro Rom so long ago. They could've replace them by the middle to end of January making anyone who asked for them in good faith getting a WIN2011 Celebi. This is all speculation though of course. However what if all events were distributed through Wifi? There would be no question of good faith. You would either have to hack it in ahead of time or get events whenever Nintendo distibuted it and whatever Nintendo decided to distribute. So even if you knew about a Gamestp Celebi and they distributed a WIN2011 that's what you got. There would be no leaks to question legitamacy so anybody having a Gmestp Celebi would've hacked it if that was the case.

So if this is passed as Legit as it looks like it's going to will it apply to ALL Gamestp Celebi or only the ones that people got from Gamestop employees that changed the dates in order to download it early?

Well I say that it isn't Legit. My reason for that would be because it was still never officially released by Nintendo even though it did come from them. I don't consider Celebi's that people got early because the employee changed the date Legit either. My way of looking at it is that it was possibly meant to be distributed but for unknown reasons it was not. And without the leaked distribution rom or without prompting an employee to change the date on the distribution cart then nobody would have ever recieved a Gamestp Celebi. Plus the amount of people that even did get the Celebi early because of an employee is so miniscule. I haven't heard of anybody saying themselves that they did this. And with the leaked distribution rom anybody could easily edit their own Gamestp Celebi to make it seem like they got it early from a Gamestop employee. So all in all I say no that the Celebi is not Legit.

I don't think they can edit their saves so downloading the PKM files would be useless to them. Which I think is the case here. PM though and I can just clone a copy of all my DW pokes that you have here on the list. I don't have any of the starters though besides Bulbasaur and Squirtle.

Is Black and White different from previous games in regards to Met Lv for eggs? I was breeding a Scraggy egg that I was planning on transferring over to my English White copy but when I was looking at it in Pokesav and PokeGen they both said that the Met Lv was 1 unlike previous games where it was met at Lv. 0. Is it just my game or is that how eggs are now?

Okay no problem. It should be sometime soon if the old man would hurry up and give me an egg!! D:< EDIT: I guess it took yelling to get it. EDIT 2: Well here's the EGG PKM. I just bred it right now although I could've sworn pokemon were met at Lv. 0 when hatched. I'll have to double check that.

Damn. And I just hatched all my eggs and released them all. Well, I'm about to start breeding again and I'll post a Scraggy egg in an hour or two. Would you like it in the egg or already hatched?

Yeah I think it's the mess up with dates that happened. Also this does mean for sure that all GAMESTP Celebi's are now illegitimate correct? Just want to confirm before I release it.
