  1. I think I encountered something like this years ago with save edits, but IIRC the only crash was that one scene. I might not be able to do anything about that, but what happens if you switch to a clean ROM for that one scene?
  2. Sorry for the delay. This has been fixed in the latest version. You'll need to recreate the project, however, since the issue was that Sky Editor was writing bad data.
  3. Instead of creating a new file, you'll need to create a DS Mod Solution, then add a Starter Mod to the resulting solution. Also YMMV for Rescue Team, since there've been reports of crashes that I don't know how to fix. Explorers should work just fine though.
  4. The problem is that PMD uses different animations for sleeping in a dungeon vs. sleeping in a bed. I think it might be possible to copy them over for specific Pokémon using @psy_commando's sprite editor, but I've never done that before myself.
  5. How much free RAM does your computer have?
  6. Can you check to make sure LanguageStringPatcher.exe exists in the same directory as SkyEditor.ROMEditor.UI.WPF.exe? If it does not exist, try redownloading Sky Editor. I'm going to need to add some more logging, but in the mean time, can you make sure you're able to launch MessageFARCPatcher.exe, located in the same directory as SkyEditor.ROMEditor.UI.WPF.exe? If a console window doesn't open and immediately close, then that may be part of the problem.
  7. It does look like your Numel portraits should be working. However, the grin and angry portraits for Vulpix both use well over 15 colors (I haven't checked the others). If those are present when building, then unfortunately the whole project will fail to build.
  8. Can confirm this works on the US version too. Sky Editor will now do this automatically in the latest update. Nice find, @End45!
  9. Please attach the .zip file that Sky Editor makes. Not only is it smaller, it also contains the tools needed to build for output formats other than LayeredFS. (Also there's potential legal implications with uploading complete files like that, which are summarized here.)
  10. I pushed an update that fixes this.
  11. Looks like it's 0x001E0E00 in the US version, and 0x1800 in overlay 13, but I haven't tried it yet. I'll have to add it in Sky Editor if I can get it working.
  12. psy_commando's tools are what you're looking for: Sky Editor can make the setup a little easier, since it has stats_util (the thing that can edit the scripts and cutscenes) bundled:
  13. The latest version is 4.2.9.
  14. Welcome to the forums, Rockman_96!
  15. Those animations consist of two images with bouncing and stretching. We have the individual images in the gallery, but I lack the skills to get the bouncing/stretching or turn them into gifs.
  16. That's odd, since the solution explorer should show a baserom and a modpack project regardless of how successful the extraction went. Is there anything in the error window? And what version are you using?
  17. The Pokémon Company has announced it will be holding a press conference on Tuesday, May 28 at 6 PM Pacific Daylight Time (or for those of you not in the US, Wednesday, May 28 at 1 AM UTC). Last year's press conference was about 45 minutes long, announcing Pokémon Quest and the Pokémon Let's Go games. This year's is expected to cover the new Pokémon Sword and Shield games, and perhaps more. Watch it here: Source View full article
  18. There's a lot of different kinds of Linux. Which distro/version?
  19. I've never tested it outside of Windows. I make no promises I can get it working, but I can take a look at least. What OS are you using? Also could you upload the modpack zip file in the output directory?
  20. Fixed in the latest commit. Please let me know how well it works. You've chosen a version of a Pokémon that might experience other issues.
  21. Using some of psy_commando's statsutil (there's a mod for it), it's possible to a certain extent, but I think adding Pokemon from future generations is beyond current know-how. In any case, it'll be quite a lot of work.
  22. I'm afraid I know nothing about NDS emulation on the Wii U. If the saves are imported and exported in raw format, it should work fine. If Sky Editor correctly displayed all the data, then it sounds like the save restore didn't work.
  23. Here you go. Player is a Charmander, partner is a female Treecko (not that gender matters much in this game, but because the European translations assume the partner to be female, I always make this selection). Neither are nicknamed, but you can change both from the main menu after you progress through the story some. The save should start right before the scene with Deoxys and Rayquaza. 00001746.zip
  24. If you try to use both at the same time, it will fail because my patchers don't know how to safely merge things yet. For the time being, you'll need to either disable the starter mod's portrait patching (right-click the project, click properties, uncheck the appropriate checkbox, and save) or don't use the portrait mod.
