  1. @SkyLink24 you happen to be here. You mind sending the K/W into SWSH to check if the ability changed Also, if that fails, our last bastion of hope is ORAS dexnav. Tho if may be possible that the Weezing traded to you on Isle of Armor can have HA.
  2. @AliceTheAlice seems no luck with transferring from VC up (via Bank) too. https://discord.com/channels/343093766477053953/354645386746527745/727655266841133105 Koffing on Bank and HOME shows Levitate.
  3. This, I'm curious about. Getting someone to test transfer from VC. I'll look into ORAS dexnav shortly. Don't think Weezing/Koffing is in friend safari. From what I can tell, anything from Entree forest will be HA, unless it doesn't have HA (at that time). (As far as I can tell, ability information isn't sent to the game. It's generated solely by the game)
  4. I'm confused tho. From non-SWSH to SWSH, it simply retained it's ability value. it went from (2) Levitate to (2) Neutralizing Gas. It not a HA. It's still Ability 2. It didn't suddenly gain a HA through the transfer process. Yet, you're asking about Dream world stuff, which if I'm not mistaken, everything there was released as HA (besides mon's that didn't have HA). Isn't this more a question of "finding mons which has their abilities changed within the same slot", as opposed to asking for HA? Isn't this scenario similar to Pelipper gaining Drizzle in Gen VII? Isn't it kinda like Gengar losing Levitate and gaining Cursed Body instead? The ability slots stayed the same, but the ability in the slot itself changed.
  5. @SkyLink24 thanks, I'll add it in later :3
  6. Erm, PID is naturally given to a mon. If you change the stats, you'll invalidate the RNG calls that called for PID and the stats in succession. (so, it is a way to know they're illegal). As for whether a mon has to be legal, it doesn't have to be, but I recommend it.
  7. That's not saving in-game. That's saving via emulator. You know, pressing the Start button to open the menu in the game, then selecting Save.. (ignore the OT, was using someone else's save...) I do like your confidence to make that declaration, when in reality that's not what you're doing..
  8. Please don't multipost. Just edit any new information into the latest unanswered post. Also, our site supports uploads, no need to upload to another site. Same issue. You're clearly doing something wrong. How are you saving the game?
  9. It makes complete sense. Your "save" is filled with garbage data. Consider saving in-game, then exporting the battery save.
  10. Due to lack of HOME tracker, I would not necessarily recommend such a method. However due to HOME tracker changing whenever it enters a different HOME, it may not matter which game it gained entry from. (Though, HOME could always be logging the previous tracker, which would form a chain of traceable data. While I can't expect them to have the resources to track every chain, I speculate that they probably could send a person to check the logs if they suspect something. In any case, use at your own risk really) Also ask the question in the thread, not as the title. Gonna have to edit that now.
  11. just glad you managed to get it working :3
  12. I'm not interested in doing that. Probably easy for a pro, just time-consuming really, but I ain't that.
  13. Press A on the mark in-game. There needs to be a checkmark on the mark.
  14. The method has since been patched by HOME. So no point. Locking thread.
  15. Geez can you wait. HOME is crashing right now. It'll be added when it can be claimed. edit: Here it is:
  16. there isn't. If the origin game isn't Sun or Moon, then there is a problem.
  17. that's effectively the TL;DR of the long rant from that user
  18. As you may recall, there's no abilities in Gen 1 and Gen 2 VC. (abilities were only introduced in Gen 3, and HA only introduced in Gen 5). When you use Transporter, it assigns HA to any mons that are transferred up from VC 1 or VC 2. [Also, kindly remember VC 1 & 2 mons go straight into Gen 7 format. Even tho they're sitting in Bank, they cannot be withdrawn into Gen 6.]
  19. I can only surmise you probably have too many dens active. Deactivate them all, and try again.
  20. So you expect me to read the wall of text, and then comment? Okay -after some time- Lol, the very first mon I loaded up has errors. This is going to be just great. Shiny Bulbasaur that was hatched, yet has Cherish Ball, and has fateful encounter flag. Lol Shiny Original Cap Pikachu caught in HeartGold? lolol Shiny Mew not from Emerald? LOLOLOL Yup, almost everything is illegal. Whoever thought it was a good idea to hack these in: Nope, they're not "secret events". Just plain illegal. Nothing to do with the (falsely) claimed The illegality of these mons are so outrageous that they're practically plain as day to see. There are some real events sprinkled throughout, but all in all, these files are just horrible. Too much illegals. User claiming they're legal. Hiding the post cause user is misrepresenting what they are. (I'll be leaving the quoting of the post intact, but removing the upload) I can't even imagine that I'm going to thank you for this (cause I typically get mentally turned off at wall of texts without line breaks nor proper grammar usage), but thanks @Delta Blast Burn for bringing such an egregious post to my attention. Based on the content of said user, the user is also on my watchlist now. And lastly: You're such a joke. You clearly don't understand the meaning of legal (Or maybe you're a troll, which in that case, well done, now shoo). Why don't you understand what legal means, before you try to create mons, huh? Edit: Clarification for clarification's sake. I don't see the merit in critique with no constructive feedback. Getting horrible hacks to pass through online services is not the definition of legal (appears to be the basis of the misinformed point you were trying to make). Legal typically refers to a mon that is indistinguishable from stuff you can obtain in-game (or via events) without abnormal gameplay. (Stuff like glitches or ACE constitute abnormal gameplay) For example, your Original Cap Pikachu from HeartGold? Totally not legal. Pikachu variant in the form of the Original Cap Pikachu does not exist in HeartGold. And that variant will not exist until distributed in Gen 7. Not to mention, as of writing, all of the cap variants (besides Partner Cap) were distributed as shiny locked. So if we compare your mon to one that was legally available, yours fail the mark miserably. Hence illegal. PKHeX is working as intended. Keep in mind the real definition of legal when you decide to craft mons. Check various databases (online sites like Serebii, Bulbapedia etc) to see if the mon you wanna make ever legally existed to begin with. So that fellow readers have an inkling to what I'm referring to, marvel at this hot piece of garbage:
