hey got a question, if i wanted to use this save file but for the start of the game , no trials completed etc (right from the start) do i start a new game, export that file and then dump all the pokemon into it, is that the way to go?

    1. Start a new game
    2. Export the new file.
    3. Dump all Pokémon from this file into a folder
    4. Import all Pokémon from the folder into new file.

I've tried importing this file into the mystery gift option on PKHeX and also putting it in my boxes but it always seems to have an error sign next to it whenever i do it, even though they are there am i still able to use it online and if not is there a way to remove the errors?

I literally just dragged a copy in and it's all fine. I reckon you're doing something wrong.

    1. Is your PKHeX the latest version?
    2. Also, send your Zeraora .pb7 over.

were these pokemon created or are they the legitimate events?

I don't know why you're asking if they're "legitimate events", since most of these aren't event Pokémon.

Event Pokémon were redeemed via the wonder cards. In-game Pokémon were caught in-game.
It is a bit hard to track, cause most of them have been captured and transferred across different years.

The only entries that *may* have been created, were entries originating from Gen 5. (The hatched stuff with Lv 100.)

In any case, they're all legal. If it bothers you, I can recatch them all.

Wow that is So cool i never knew that you can get the Pokemon LGPE Sprites Like this Good Job Man I Love it :)

I am very sorry @theSLAYER But i found some pikachu images that does not show up. Is there No spirits for these pokemon Yet.

That's because they were literally programmed as such. The devs dummied out the sprite and left it as the ball symbol, cause you're not supposed to get em.

    Thanks for the guides :D

Sorry for don't be specific: the Unown file, not a gen file in particular :)

I want all Unown with freedom of selection in the IV's to select the Hidden Power at my choice. I supposed that the IV's of Unown from RO/AS Mirage Caves can be elegible. But all Unown from every Gen file are from FR/LG or HG/SS, so...

By the way, I prefer Modest nature, but don't be eligible neither.

Unown files are found in specific Gen saves.

Anyhow, I've added the ORAS Unown into Gen 6 and Gen 7 saves.

Unown's file is incomplete. (A) form missed

For which Generation? ? As far as I can tell they're in every generation.
If you're referring to the .rar, well they'll in the save, so no need to double submit...

By the way... from III/IV gen is impossible to increase the IV's? So...I need Unown from RO/AS from Mirage Caves?

For Gen 3/4 you can learn how to edit the files so that PID/IV combo matches. (those data were generated together, and we know how they're generated)

    Guide:

Else, in Gen 7, just perform Hyper Training to max out their IVs.
To Hyper Train, their Level must be 100. Then hold Shift on your Keyboard and click on the IV stat.
The stat will turn green (example in image below). You cannot Hyper Train a stat that is already 31 IV.
    image.png
In-game, the Pokémon will look and act as though the Hyper Trained stat is 31 IV.
However, when breeding, it'll pass down the standard stat. (Which doesn't matter, since it's an Unown)

Didn't work for me :( (Gen7 Moon) with hacked 3ds.

@Adrou which save did not work for you, and what how did you try to import the save? what issue did you run into.
Also, reviews are not comments. They don't allow people to directly reply and resolve the issue (especially if it's a user issue).

Also, for Moon, it totally works (as seen in my screenshot above). Make sure you renamed the save to main, there's no file in the save folder.

Which of these pokemon were from events? I'm asking because I want to change the OT name and the IDs, except for the ones that came with a custom trainer name and IDs at events.

For Pokémon captured in Gen 4 and onwards, you can use this code in Batch editor:

    Quote

    =FatefulEncounter=False
    .Species=0

Every event Pokémon Gen 3 Mew & Gen 3 Deoxys & Gen 4 and onwards (including VC transfers) must have the FateFul Encounter Flag, and this codes removes mons that doesn't have.
This way it'll be easier to see which are event mons. (Exception is Wild Event Darkrai)

As for Gen 3 event mons, you gotta go through the box to check.
Presumably I'll check known species, OTs and TID as potential candidates.
(However I think that Gen 3 non-island Mew/Deoxys events being added are pretty unlikely, as most were shiny locked)

Can I use this savefile for online purposes?

Provided you change the Save's Trainer Name, Trainer ID combo, Game Sync ID, it should be fine.

As always, use at your own risk. <- (I'm saying this because I think many people have the same idea as you. While they don't seem to compare saves between users presently, who knows what the future holds)

  5. 52 minutes ago, Araraura said:

Would it be ok to just change the OT name, as well with IDs in the batch editor? I figured some pokemon are probably from events with a custom name and ID.

Only if you remove all the event mons. Event mons cannot have OT and TID/SID changed.

for some mons, it probably isn't safe to change PID as well, if they are from Gen 3/4.

OMG you are a truly Pokemon master :'0 your save must be preserved after generations, but is there any way to make all Pokemon non shiny? I mean with PKhex batch editor? Or not

Events that are only shiny is in that file, so I won't recommend doing that.

Besides we already have a file that contains non-shiny living dex.

Just noticed myself, on the serebii site, dusk lycanroc is a dead cause for now? :P

Are you referring to the distribution being over?

In any case, Dusk Lycanroc is breedable, and can breed more Own Tempo Rockruff. That’s the only way to get em Dusk Lycanroc shiny, as well as in other balls, so it’s not a “dead cause”..

PokeCGear unfortunately is the only editor that supports Pokedex skins. But injecting works for me, even though it fails a lot. I experienced that sometimes it needs a few tries.

    You might try:
    - going ingame and saving twice before trying again
    - or after injecting opening your save file in PKHeX or PokeGen and saving it without doing any edits, to fix checksums

Always always ALWAYS keep an extra backup of your unedited save in a complete different location on your computer, before doing ANY modifications. :3

The WC6 file date doesn't match a possible date described on this post. Wich one is correct?

Why are you making multiple posts with the same content?
Date on wonder card is based on receiving system (3DS), not the sender (server).

Person could have received the file on the correct, but the 3DS' date was incorrect.

    It is not a problem.

Why this picture marks a different distribution date It was released by wifi in April 20 2009?

The wonder card date follows NDS system date, so this just means the NDS date was not set as per the normal calendar dates

So how many event pokemon are missing from this file? I see there's a lot, but it looks like some may be missing?

I am just postulating, but perhaps you're confusing the purpose of this file with something else you have in mind? :/

Nowhere in the description has the word "event". This isn't an event archive. It's simply a file with each species shiny (if possible & legal). The only reason why you may notice some event mons here, is because only some event mons (typically mythicals or legendaries) were available shiny through an event.

4 hours ago, Cryptic Soldier said:

Is it even possible to obtain any missing event pokemon now?

We have an event gallery (on-site & github), and even if you don't use it, PKHeX has a Mystery Gift database.

There are some events missing, specifically Gen 3 events. Those are more or less hard to verify their authenticity without proof of redemption. Additionally, a lot have been shifted to Pal Park, making them hard to acquire as Gen 3 files.

4 hours ago, Cryptic Soldier said:

Also looking at older variants of this save file, it looks like pokemon were removed that had different OT's indicating that they were event pokemon?

Probably removed because they were illegal event Pokémon or other extenuous circumstances (they may have been made shiny and couldn't exist as shinies, so removed etc).

As I am not the author, not my place to give a definite answer for this question, so the best I could give was generic guesses.

Both Celebi's are showing illegal. They're the only ones I can find that show illegal for me. False positive?

    Could be.

While PKHeX is operating on this first principle:
    image.png

For Level 30, it probably could be any nature, because of the second principle, where the exp gets reset to the minimum.

In the mean time, I've set the Celebi's nature to Timid to be safe.

edit for this portion: confirmed false positive, already fixed in current PKHeX code. Will be available when next update of PKHeX rolls out.
