  1. Odd. I’ll take a look but won’t be anytime soon.
  2. If you want to perform transfers without actual hardware, PKHeX can transfer up stuff for you. Open 2 saves on 2 PKHeX windows, and drag the mons across. If you want to know what gets changed, well, ask the one question (which the scope isn’t at all big) that is most important to you (relating to this). Perhaps we can move forward, bit by bit. As mentioned above, an essay probably shouldn’t be expected. Yes, this is a help forum, and one may feel entitled to get help, but you gotta remember that no one here is paid nor obliged to help. If your question appears too big/too demanding, it may in fact shun away those that otherwise would have been willing to help. Please understand.
  3. Look at BDSP/PLA entries, is there a shiny one there? If there is one with a tracker, just use a bot to inject that. Also make sure you’re not using a bot that wipes HOME trackers.
  4. Make sure to use latest Pokefinder. Keep in my that FRLG Suicune will be affected by the Roaming IV glitch.
  5. HOME has horrible hack checks. It being able to pass through HOME doesn’t mean it was possible nor intended. and no, specifically in Gen 3, can’t put Japanese wonder cards on non-Japanese cartridges.

In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, data for Pokémon that are a certain distance around the player get saves into the save, and would respawn on next save reload. (Note: this doesn’t apply in Union Circle; they don’t get saved). However, it is noticed that the respawns are not 'guaranteed'. This is one way to view and extract any mons that do not get respawned for whatever reason. Allows the player to also check what was in the 'spawn radius' of archived saves. How it works and what it is implemented Pokémon that is within a radius around the player gets saved when the player saves. This only occurs in single player, and not in Union Circle. The data saved this way is practically the entire pk9 format, with notable data missing, such as obedience level, met level, met location, ball caught in, and OT details. It actually has a TID/SID, but not one of the save’s trainer (in RNG, commonly known as fake trainer details). The save also contains a byte to indicate where the player saved (byte for location name; not just coordinates). This makes it easier when it comes to legalising the extract. Upon clicking extract, the plugin will attempt to pre-legalise some data (set obedience level and met level to current level, set ball caught in to Poké Ball, set OT TID SID to the current player’s, perform the accurate and known modification to PID [against OT details] if the target mon is meant to be shiny/not shiny). It will then check PKHeX to see if the target would be legal, based on saved location. If it wouldn’t be, brute force check against all locations with current level. Then brute force check with a level variance of ~10. If still illegal, it’ll use the pre-legalised data set and extract. How to use Put the plugin into the plugins folder in your PKHeX directory, then access it from the Tools menu. Note: Win 10 might block DLL files downloaded from the internet. In that case right click the plugin file, go to properties and check "unblock" (as seen here). [You may have to unblock, reblock, then unblock again to get it to work] Example of how to unblock: Usages Load a SV save into PKHeX, and load up the plugin. It shows 20 entries, shows whether a Pokémon is shiny, whether it has any marks, whether it is a wild tera encounter (they have full-coloured backgrounds, have a glow around the sprite, and have a Tera star in the top right hand corner). Also shows whether it qualifies for mini/jumbo mark. Support For help and bug reporting, go here. Credits Kaphotics for PKHeX.

  8. Hi @NamelessPlayah93, sorry this reply is almost a month late. My findings: 1. There doesn't seem to be a block (species ID or perhaps some kind of table) that the game uses to base the next spawn off, additionally... 2. You can actually soft reset the spawn by saving after you defeated the Stellar Tera, save in the area, then reload the game when the date changes (the date only has to change once; it is unlike SWSH's system where the species is preset for the next 3 raids) As such, there is no way to force the game to completely generate an encounter based on species. (Example: you can't change a value to 'Altaria' and it generates all of Altaria's details, such as PID, IVs, moves, etc) Do note: I am able to manipulate the Fixed Symbol Encounters, and change Stellar Haxorus to Stellar Altaria, but the way of doing that is by fully injecting a well-formed Pokemon (minus OT details and marks), which at that point would be the same as what @Atrius97 said: I could just swap in all the details but retain generated PID/IVs/EC etc, but I believe that cause issues relating to the legality of RNG generation down the road (presumably the RNG generation includes species) so I am not fully comfortable with that. My advise is to soft reset away.
  9. Plugins updated and usable on dev build 20240327.
  10. All Pokéwalker encounters are Shiny-locked. PKHeX is working as intended, they will never be shiny under natural circumstances.
  11. Sorry I didn’t manage to see this in time, at least you found it

  14. these two threads are linked aren't they? Anyhow if the PID is stored, we can make convincing recreations. Most Pokémon commonly use Method 1 for PIDIV generation (and encounter slot information can be derived from that, to cross reference against met location data), so it won't be an issue. Give us the save and we can check that. Also, there's a chance the mon you extracted wasn't saved was either not saved as pk3, or you weren't using PKHeX with a Gen 3 save loaded. Poketransfer isn't a location in Gen 3, and if PKHeX showed that, either one of those things were likely wrong.

  16. The Hall of Fame entries didn’t contain all the data, but if I remember correctly, the e-card trainers do. So it can swing either direction. We’ll have to see.
  17. That information may or may not be there. If we have the PID (I assume it’s there), could try to assume it’s IVs. Depending on PID, could try to assume it’s met data too. at the very least, do you remember if it’s hatched? also wanna share the save so we can take a look?
  18. I don’t think all data is there, so gonna have to recreate stuff, but seems possible
  19. No, I’m expressively telling you *not* to restore the corrupted save to the carts. Just in case, has your original cart (where the save came from) not been overwritten?
  20. Taking a shiny Ditto from Yellow shouldn’t have caused the glitch. Can you confirm that the issue is indeed in your cart, not just in the save dump? (Also don’t restore the save just yet)
  21. Normal situation, on the Switch, any JPN/CHS/CHT mons have the OTs that are typed in Roman characters stretched.
