The sets have already been rated so i'll just tell you the weaknesses of this team. You seem to have a Salamence weakness. Nothing on your team can revenge kill Dragon Dance Salamence. P-Z though timid natured wont outspeed it cause all DDmences are max speed natured. Infernape will be problamatic. Sure you P-Z is faster but it cant OHKO an Ape at max or 70% HP. Kingdra will slow it down but if its at 60% it wont survive a LO CC from Ape. Having no Fire type move at all in the team will obviously give a you a Scizor and Bronzong problem. The only locked move your Probopass can catch scizor on is Bullet Punch and that can do some serious damage as well. It can either U turn out or finish you with Superpower, Bronzong will use EQ to wipe you out and just forget about trapping and finishing Metagross. Lucario downright pwns this team. Nothing can beat Luke after a SD on your team. Id suggest using a Gengar with Scarf instead of P-Z. this set should do: Gengar EVs: 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP Holding: Choive Scarf Ability: Levitate Nature: Timid ~ Shadow Ball ~ Focus Blast ~ HP Ice ~ Thunderbolt Revenge kills Luke, Gyara and Sally after a DD and great check against Latias and possibly DDtar. Another thing is that your using two Steel types Meta and Zor. Both do almost similar jobs and its better to have diversity on a team so they are not weak to similar types. Switch one of them for something else. Change your lead, Shuckle isnt the pokemon that it use to be >.>.....but it can still do a decent job with sand up......which your team doesnt have. Having 2 rock types being used as walls....that to special walls.....and no sand to aid them is very silly. You need a good physical wall to take beatings. Use a Hippwodon as your lead. That doubles as your SR user and Physical wall and adds sand for you which in turn benefits your Probopass. Hippo does a decent job of stopping Lukes as well but the Gengar is taking care of more threats including Luke.

I actually tried that and i was like WTH! It does look like a big weepinbell. Honestly i hate both of 'em. >_> Grass types are practically having the worst time everywhere. My favourite grass types are ONLY Celebi and Skymin. Skymin is uber so i would go with Celebi. Hate Breloom to death. I dont think any of the Grass types look cool or beautiful =/. The starters are all not quite good looking, though i wouldnt say they look really bad. Sceptile would be cool if it wasnt so wide at the bottom and had a smaller tail . I wouldve chosen the last option again, Wraithy loves Grassys so they can just go running after him. But since that option already has 9,002 votes, i voted for what i wanted.

Even Swampy cant really do anything to it =/. Once burned, physical hits wont do much and swampy having low special atk and Ho-oh having that godly special def, even Torrent boosted Hydro Pumps wouldnt muster up too much. It wouldnt even need Energy Ball to finish the job. Empoleon might handle it but again Ho-oh can phaze or just EQ that Penguin to death.

Blaziken.:eek:..... :confused: I mean Blaze is awesome and all but a flying type losing to a fighting type? The anime has always been messed up. How could you say that Enzo? ; _ ; Blaziken is the ambassador and image of coolness in the pokemon world! How could it not make you go WOW??!!

Thanks Blaziken IS my favorite fire starter of all, by looks<3 and by battling ability. Charizard and Typhlosion are too close to call and Infernape, well >.>.....you already know.

Very well said. That would overcentralize the entire Meta-game even more than it is now =/. No water type could really hurt it on the special side due to its epic 154 sp.def and the Aerodactyl switch in could be predicted and Sacred fired on the spot. That would cripple anything that resists it but counters it....mainly Gyarados, Tyranitar, Aerodactyl, Snorlax etc. Snorlax isnt bulky enough to take hits that strong from Ho-oh. The rest hate burns. Furthermore Metagross and Scizor make great partners as they would remove the rock types and Snorlax from Ho-ohs way. Those two Steels are already used a lot in OU. This would also necessitate the use of a Cleric on every team just to heal those burns. The best Clerics being Blissey and Celebi :eek: are gonna get massacred by this beast. The need of a rapid spinner is, as everyone has put, quite obvious and easy. There were 4 great spinners in OU before Donphan went to UU but the remaining ones can find niches on any team, really. The best counter to Ho-oh would actually be Suicune. With its nice defenses and resisting type it could take most hits from Ho-oh and possibly stall it out of Sacred Fire pp..........but obviously thats only one counter and most would just switch out =/. Calm Mind Cune could start to CM on Ho-oh but it has Punishment to deal with those kinds and will do massive damage after say 4 CMs. On top of that Suicune doesnt have nearly as great a power as Vaporeon (who btw has bad defense) to hit Ho-oh hard enough to put it in the 2hko range. Ho-oh will just roost OR recover those hits and stall CUNE OUT.:eek: Of course the physical walls get maimed by this legend and other than Hippowdon nothing could survive its onslaught. Burn would cripple Hippo to an extent that even with Stone edge it could do only 50%, while Ho-oh could hammer it on the special side and finish it off. The ONLY other phys wall that comes to my mind is Regirock -___-........... which would be on every team.......Yes, it takes SFs and EQs well, but the burn would leave it crippled and it will have to resort to Rest......which leaves it open to the Steel monsters that i named earlier. Again this would centralize the meta-game around 4 maybe 5 pokemon. Simply put Ho-oh is an insane pokemon already and the only reason it doesnt see much usage in the Uber tier is cause, that tier consists of a lot more Special attacking heavy hitters than physical, with fire being a resisted type by the Dragons and Kyogre running around everywhere. BUT, this doesnt change the fact that Ho-oh can cripple Rayquazas, Groudon by using its sunlight against it and Dialga. LOL maybe an Azumarril could Aqua Jet a Ho-oh at 50~60% HP, but seriously, who would think of carrying that frail pokemon? Honestly, this Topic of shifting tiers shouldnt have even been for Ho-oh. Start a topic for something thats possible to contain in OU, ya get mah drift?:creep: Im talkin bout freakin Garchomp >_> Its uber ya but OU can still contain it with Latias being there (wonder why that happened though:confused:).

Finally................its about time the Original Firefighter (get it) got some respect!! Infernape............daaaarn youuuuuu!!! Stupid Gamefreak HAD to make another fire fighting type!.... not to mention outclass the original one like this!!:mad: Yes Ape has a better movepool.....why couldnt they give Blaziken a little more boost? Why not give it base 82 speed so it can beat Gyarados? Why not give it OF AAALLL pokemon Close Combat? Sheez even Some Normal types learn close combat (ursaring, granbull...your nothing like Blaziken). OF ALL the animals in the world.....they chose an Ape, an ugly one at that, to be a feared fighting type?? Poor Blaziken ; _ ;. Hes still one of my favorite pokemon from the RSE gen. Hes such a hunky pokemon (yes im a guy, hunky means muscular)....its such a travesty. Seriously, i wouldve chosen the final option as i did in the last poll, but unlike those stupid rats, i do have a soft corner for the Blaze master. It looks nothing like a chicken, If you see his Evolution line, all his basic forms look like cute (yukh) and stupid looking pokemon.....i mean just look at Combusken, can you believe a stupid thing like that becomes a Hottie like Blaziken? dont even get me started on torchic >_<.... its just wrong. No other pokemon looks so different from its basic forms.....not even Gyarados for cryin out loud! Magikarp has whiskers and an always open mouth after all! Blaziken has that amazing build and sharp looking features, what does Combusken have? a round beak and.....legs?wth??!! Blazikens beak makes it look like a menacing eagle. Infernape? even Machamp looks better!!:eek: Blaziken had a glorious run in RS cause he swept the Pokemon League like light saber cutting through Infernapes frail and thin arms >=), but that doesnt mean they outclass it like this!! They always give a few good pokemon the short end of the stick. To let you know how much i <3 Blaziken i would say, If pokemon was real and i was a trainer......it would most certainly be in my 6 pokemon party. You dont have to use Blaziken in OU or just for the sake of it......just dont think its nothing compared to Ape. Remember, Blaziken came out first and it was the basis on which they made another one to be better than it.

Granted, it first comes out in Japan but by the time you reach there its sold out. Then it comes out in the US but by the time you reach there its sold out as well . Hey there Milo. I see you use a lotta steels...... 4 of them at one time. Well i just love Steel types and ofcourse they RULE the OU metagame. Can you believe that Flying even though being a secondary and Common type is tied with the number of Psychics in OU? Both consist of 9 pokemon, whereas Steel being a Primary type has a total of 10 pokemon :eek: , all with many exotic secondary typings.....not to mention the only 3 fully evolved Steel/Psychic pokemon are all OU. That and being the only type to resist Dragon attacks just makes them more useful then they already are. Steels Rule baby!! K nuff bout mah steel cheerleadin, on to yo team. Metagross - Its pure pwnage right off the bat, Meta has been and will continue to be (if the 5th gen ruins it) the best lead ever. nuff said Scizor - Well im no fan of "Zor" but hes the most used pokemon for a reason. Though seeing as Meta is already there and able to take care of Blissey (pwns all of them really, even the Charm variants:cool:) and the bulky waters actually have nothing to fear from Zor as they resist BP and will hit it with a usually faster Surf attack. On top of that its only Magnezone bait (Maggy from now on OK) which can trap and finish off 3 of your pokes if possible. On the subject of Scarf Maggy - Meta can beat it with EQ and Empoleon wont be Ohkod at full health by Tbolt, though Discharge might paralyse you, and can agility up and sweep. But your Probopass wont be able to counter Magnet Rise versions and neither will anything else except for Empoleon so watch out for that. You dont have a phazer on your team....but i think itll do without one. And change Hippos set to this: Hippowdon (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP/52 Atk/32 Def/172 SDef Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Curse - Slack Off - Earthquake - Stone Edge SE will provide you with higher power after the curse whereas the flinching chance and low power of rock slide is really of no use. I love your Probo. Its perfect for taking out the scarf Maggys and Trans (Heatran). It can take multiple Fire blasts and 2hko back with Earth power. Just be sure not to catch it while TRAN is locked into EP. Cause that would 3hko if not 2hko you. Otherwise its great. Gengar - Well the way i see it.......Gar is really the "Glue" which holds your team together. Immune to the fighting and ground atttacks that plague your team. The Trick black sludge is a niche that only gengar can do being the only poison type able to learn it. Its infuriating for your opponent as you heal with either the BS or lefties while they lose 12% each turn. BUT your thinking about using a scarf is right. That way you can take out a major weakness that ill say later on in teh weakness section. OK weakness section. lol DD Gyara sweeps this team like a Laser edged sword. Scarf on Gar will solve that. DD salamence......pwns this team......Only if your Hippo is alive will you weather the assult of a DDmence. As for Mixmence well..........Draco Meteor will hurt Hippo plenty, whereas Hydro Pump will downright Ohko it even without specs x_x BTW use Hippo to stop Luke ok? As for the "gluey" Gar that holds your team together.....a pursuit pokemon will finish it rather easily....and leave you with nothing to stop Gyara. Well another thing...the reason why Probo isnt used in OU is that it cant counters Scizor, and Luke, both who pwn it with ease. Meta also ohkos it with EQ due its lesser phys def stat. But for this team i like how your using it to remove threats for your other pokes so Yay! Now....on to the biggest threat to this team..... Infernape!!.......Why dont people think about an Ape check before they make a team ?_?. Im always pointing that weakness out.:cool: You should hope for a lead ape which gets pwned by Meta. But if you happened to meet the Mix set your almost doomed....... The only thing you can do is use Gar and Shadow ball it for high damage (2hko) but the problem is switching in......if you switch in on anything but CC or Grass knot then your finished. You will lose atleast one poke. If Gar is dead already then Ape and Gyara will ravage through this team ohkoing everything in sight X_X.

Granted, but then it goes into Selfdestruct mode and merges with your DS lite and explodes to a billion peaces >=) I wish i had the ability of flight, teleportation, going through walls, invisibility, super speed, super strength, invincibility, and mind control so i could do what i want, when i want and without anyone to stop me. Well i really liked your Electivire sig Illithian. The new one is great too, i just love that 3D like detail you gave those wings. Yes NP Ape is nearly unwallable but you must know that "nearly". They dont run HP Ice so a salamence can switch in while it NPs, DD it self while nothing 1hkos it and then sweep. Same with Gyara only it takes atkeast neutral damage from Grass knot so i think thats a ohko after SR damage but otherwise its in the same boat as Sally, DD up once then ohko. Another Poke i forgot to mention was Tyranitar.....my cutey pie. Again nothing can come in on Tar while it DDs and hope to stop it. Forrey can do it but again with no healing and at low health or worse fainted......your whole team crumbles. Bronzong will be 2hkod by Crunch, after the reflect it will be a 3hko but still with +1 boosted atk to that already monstrous attack stat, its gonna plow through Ape and P-Z unstopped. Gyro ball will stop Tar quickly and should mostly be a near 2hko on the DD versions. PLEASE SWITCH ZONGS EQ WITH FORREYS GYRO BALL. i assure you it will work better to counter Sally and Tar. Yes the Dugtrio weakness is also bad, but i havent mentioned it due to the scarcity of its usage. Well it will revenge kill both Ape and P-Z leaving you with nothing to attack with. About your non available fighting Resistance well....youll have to switch one of your pokes with a Ghost type which will obviously lower your sweeping capabilities as nothing but Mismagius really can Calm Mind and the Rotom forms get destroyed by Tar whos a Massive threat already. Well most obviously you cant counter everything......but you must try your best to do so. BTW Im gonna be posting a team of my own in the RMT thread. Just something for you guys to look forward to.>=)

Heh, it saves your costs for a bluray player doesnt it? All of the games on the XBOX and PS3 are quite better than the Wii ones so the only thing that remains is ONE BIG GAME UNSEEN ON BOTH! WOW thats an absolutely stunning sig Illithian. I thought cause this team was already rated i wouldnt try it myself but after going through it again ive found some major weaknesses. First of all, Your Infernape DOES NOT counter Lucario. They are all SD versions and can ohko Ape with Extremespeed with extreme ease (haha... no laughing matter >_>). As Luke SDs, Ape will switch in...... and die. Luke goes through 4 of these pokemon with ease. Aero being suicide cant be your Luke counter as no one is dumb enough to switch Luke in that early. Even after the reflect it will OHKO P-Z with Close combat. Without reflect Ohko zong,2hko forry (who cant do anything without EQ), Ohko Ape and even flygon can go down to an extreme speed although it does around 88-102% damage, means a fair chance for Ohko. As for Scizor well, Ape can KO it, but with a SD up a Bullet punch will do ~75% damage. So take that combined with SRs 12% damage and the 10% recoil damage from LO as you finish it with Flamethrower and you have left is an Ape that can die to Sand stream. On top of that if Forrey is down and Ape has taken 30% damage already then you get swept with great ease. Zong goes down to X-Scissor and the rest fall to BP. Again your team has an Infernape weakness. Other than Aero who is your suicide lead (which will faint early on) and the fact that Scarf can be smelled on flygon from a mile away (hope you know what i mean), the rest of your team is Ape food. P-Z goes down to CC, your own Ape will be Ohkod with SR damage from the enemy ape, both Forrey and Zong get toasted by Flamethrower. Another i see is nothing can take down Gyarados with taunt and DD. Due to P-Z being the agility version none can switch in to revenge kill Gyara, Flygon can Stone edge it yes but thats it, on top of the fact that SE has that non reliable 80% accuracy which can miss and give gyara a free KO. ON TOP OF THAT, IF by some chance you werent able to setup SR gyara will never be Ohkod by SE and will spell doom again. Well i suggest you use EQ on Forry to prevent a Luke Sweep and get those Screens up as quickly as possible, cause in this fast paced metagame a free turn spells doom for a team this frail. Remove Gyro ball from Forry and switch it EQ on your Zong. That takes care of Luke. With the screens up you can beat scizor with Ape. Well as for Ape well....... the only option you have is to keep your Aero alive or have one of the screens needed to protect your Zong or your Ape and of course take care of flygon. Another thing why Gyro ball works better on Zong is that Salamence can be countered much easier as it cant do much with Fire blast while you hit it hard, whereas forry roles over for Sally. I would like to clear some things up if you think my style of rating is different =/. In this hyper offensive OU environment the best attackers rule. The reason why im so particular about the pokemon that can boost is that they are the ones which make the difference 80% of the time. If you are able to finish them off quickly your chances of winning increase greatly and this puts your opponents in a lotta pressure. So if i see that you have a weaknesses to the pokes i mention most of the time you should heed to it, as these pokemon are wall breakers and CANNOT be walled....only revenge killed. Other than that my PoV on teams with a set strategy is that they have a ery high chance of failing. They are high risk high reward kinda teams. Most of these one track teams take a while to set up and once walled can actually be countered. Which simply means if your opponent can foil your strategy.....then you have nothing to answer with and no backups. This is why i always go Balanced and be prepared for anything. If you cant relate to what im saying take Baton pass teams for example. If you break the chain you winning chances go up a lot. In this case..if your P-Z happens to meet a blissey, it will get statused or end up getting other pokes on the team statused. That is just my honest opinion on such teams and you may heed to it or not, it wont really matter to me. In the end id like to say that Wraith did a nice job with this one. Hes made it as scary as possible, if your opponent doesnt have atleast 1 of the pokemon that i mentioned.
