    File -> Load, open your save file from BATTERY (*.dsv) Tools -> Mystery Gifts in the combobox above the lefthand box choose one that says "[#1-9] - None" then in the righthand one click open choose the Zekrom *.pgf. Once you have done that the "<" button between the two boxes will be selectable. Click it. close the window. File -> Save[save file] and you're done. Once ingame, you need to enable the gift, then you can tlak to the guy in the pokemart.

    Yes, the pid finder is for gens 3 and 4.

    For pids make sure the box has a check mark, the shading means that it's possible but not garanteed, for 5th gen just keep the pid box blank when saving, because there is no pid/iv correlation in b/w.

    A slot 2 card is something that fits into the gba slot on the ds, and if you have one of those there's really no reason to restore the save to the retail cart because, they have the ability to play gba games built in.

    You can use this to back up any gba game using just about any flash cart, and you can use it to back up nds games if you have a slot 2 card, or you can use an ftp server to send it directly to your computer using the ds's wireless capabilities.

    technically you should make a gen IV file and run it through trashbytes.exe and then poketransfer.exe

    For a new line type either "/n" or "\n" I forget which, as for the line limit I would like to say 23 characters, but I'm not 100% sure

    Certain codes like the Walk through walls and view sid do not work on v2/1.1 regardless.

    it's stored little endian, so basically reverse the order of the bytes

    except for the m codes, they should work for both versions of FRLG, unless it specifies v1 or v2/1.1 Personaly I would use http://www.supercheats.com/gameboyadvance/Pokemon*codes2.htm, just replace the * with the "FireRed" or "LeafGreen" Don't just click the link, copy and paste it into your url bar and replace the *.

    Date is number of seconds since that day, location is the location id, i.e. g4 pal park would be 0x55
