  1. No, I ran into several issues with trying to do so... This hack is considered complete at this point. We have started our HG/SS project and are looking to release on the US release date if all goes well.
  2. I'm formally requesting permission to add your file to our toolsets.
  3. Anyone with a guide or tutorial that they would like added to this directory please post here and I will add it to the first post. Please be sure that all guides are complete and as accurate as possible. DDD's Sprite Editing Tutorial &
  4. you have to hit write rom in the main ppre window (after typing in a rom name) and give it a minute or 2, it will compile a rom with all of your changes in it
  5. I'm still angry it took them 5 years to find a way to catch mew... And in Celadon of all places!
  6. heh heh, thanks SCV! I hexed edited all mine, it's actually really easy once you get used to it... http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=131283&highlight=hex+evolution That would be the guide on how to do it... if you need further help lemme know! Also, I am moving this to Editing Help
  7. I don't see an error there...
  8. Figured I'd stop in and say Happy Holidays to all of my fans! :grog:
  9. For future reference, I test all of my hacks thoroughly from start to finish. I usually try to do it before release but when it's an anticipated one (much like this last one) I release and begin testing immediately... I have played all the way through and have done every event that I edited in anyway... I have not checked the swarms yet but I see no reason for them to be at fault, everything else was fully tested (the same will go for my hg/ss hack, especially now that I have a ds and ak2i)
  10. I have undeleted your thread, as I see no reason for it's deletion in the first place, just don't ask for ROM links or anything of the sort and you are fine. ---------- Post added at 12:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:50 PM ---------- And you do not remove the sav file from the ROM. No$Gba puts all .sav files in a separate folder. Usually in the folder titled BATTERY in your no$gba folder.
  11. thanks for responding Random... and I'm sorry guys I never get e-mail updates anymore so when life is busy I forget to check this...
  12. That has been fixed since the August (final) release, everything works perfectly after some 80+ hours of work
  13. The ARDS codes are not needed, you can get every item in-game and activate every event... (does no one read the first post...?) And as for the fateful encounter Regi, I circumvented the need for it entirely... On another note, I really wish I would receive my damn e-mail updates again...
  14. hmmm Optimistic... I like it!
  15. Every legendary is in here... It says it in the first post... As for where, you're on your own for the time being unless you need help with a specific one... Mushen is workin on a pokédex list, I just checked in with him to see how it's comin...
  16. If there is confirmation that this patcher does work with all Xdelta patch files I'd like to request your permission to include it bundled in the Non-GUI versions of my hack so that the Non-GUI versions are completely compatible with PC, Linux and Mac.
  17. you have to extract it very newpoketext (which creates the xml file you speak of) then you must edit/add the text you want, and make sure the top of that section is set to change="true"> and then reinsert the xml into your ROM. I had experienced some issues with this that others editing the exact same files did not (I actually had to have SCV insert my script edits because for unknown reasons it would not insert for me even though we were using the exact same files and doing the exact same things...) but generally you should be fine.
  18. making your own area is not possible, now moving trainers around in existing areas is...
  19. heh heh, at the time of post I was unaware of one... It doesn't help SCV made the #PP chat topic "Don't ask about pokesav hg/ss"
  20. There was a mistake with Rotom's Forms, I have now corrected it. Please re-download the new version in order to use Rotom's forms. The GBATemp Mirror's are currently down but all other's should work fine. ---------- Post added at 04:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:09 PM ---------- Wait what!? He should be level 6 dude! try restarting... are you using any AR codes? Ar codes have been known to randomly wreak havoc on the levels... I have a very beautiful save file in CE and he is definitely lvl 6...
  21. It is not possible and no there is not.
  22. JePP, unlike you, I thoroughly test my hacks! And due to me being careful for each test I have avoided that nice chunk of bugs that you have sitting in your hack. I spent 3 days trying to figure out why no$gba did not get a white screen of death and the flashcart did! And the reason it took so long: I'd have to wait for my partner to come online, then I'd have to send him the ROM so I didn't have 30 different patches... And I had to do this for each edit made that I could not walk my partner through! I'm not trying to "get money" out of nobody. I'm just pointing out that I put a lot of effort into this hack and I am providing a venue for the community to give back so that I can provide better service in the future. I even intend on scanning and uploading the receipts for the ds and flashcart once I purchase them to show those that donated that their generosity was not in vain. Any extra funds would be turned back to the community towards site upgrades, and I may possibly pay someone a few bucks to make a flash pokédex to accompany my hacks. (an idea I have had for quite sometime but haven't had the time to do it)
  23. Alright, me and SCV have discussed it, and while it is not a good idea to do a donation thread, I have added a link into my sig! So anyone willing to contribute to further testing of this hack or to help ensure better testing of the upcoming HG/SS hack please click the donation button!
