  1. See what happens when you link it up with a copy of the Bonus Disc\FRLG\Emerald and try the Berry Glitch Fix.
  2. Your save file needs to be converted from No$GBA format first. A converter is here Convert from No$GBA to the first option on the target format list.
  3. You didn't read the part about the Power Lens passing down the stat 50% of the time.
  4. Assuming a neutral or +SpAttk nature, it would be 6. If a -SpAttk nature, then 5. What answers are you getting, then?
  5. There's one in Seattle. (courtesy Ostrigal from Skarmbliss)
  6. Yeah, as soon as he figure out the encryption on depositing Pokemon.
  7. No. As kazumi and I just explained in the last two posts, there is no way to determine legitimacy from the date and IVs alone. You can get virtually any set of IVs on any date. mingot (the RNG Reporter developer) will tell you the same thing.
  8. Try using a party PKM file instead of a storage PKM file.
  9. kazumi is correct. It is possible to obtain Suicune on that seed, and many others as well. PokeRNG only displays seeds that match a certain constraint (like delay time) and it only displays one. Imagine the RNG as a giant circle. The flawless Suicune is at one point of the circle, the seed is your starting point. You can reach that Suicune from any starting point if you travel far enough, but since that circle consists of ~4.3 billion points, it's best to start nearby. I prefer RNG Reporter's Seed Finder with Open Search checked. It finds all the nearby seeds for any given spread, not just one.
  10. On that note, wouldn't it be possible to set up a public DNS, one that just reroutes traffic for the GTS server and points all other urls to another public DNS? Then any DS could access the private GTS server just by changing its DNS settings. Not everyone can or is willing to change their router DNS, and this would be a universal solution.
  11. Do you have a SAV file that goes with this, or did you use Spooky's save? If so, how did you start the Deoxys mission? Or did you just extract the wondercard somehow?
  12. Okay, make that Windows 7, then. I've had to use the built-in XP virtual machine to use the USB connector. LordLandon's script still works there.
  13. It's still just as easy, maybe easier. Just change the DNS server settings for the network connection (probably "Local Area Connection") that's connected to the internet. Run the script first, then change the DNS server settings to whatever it tells you to. Under XP (which is the only thing that has drivers for the USB connector, IIRC), go to Control Panel -> Network Connections -> right-click the connection -> Properties -> select Internet Protocol (TCP\IP), then Properties -> Use the following DNS addresses -> type in the server under Preferred DNS server
  14. Wrong save file. DST is for save states, not actual save files. You have to go to File -> Export Backup Memory.
  15. Wait, why are the odds for a proper nature THAT high? Surely with only 25 natures, the odds are 1 / 25, assuming you're targeting only one nature. I myself have several NZ Jirachis, RNG'd to have good natures and the same near-flawless spread (31\31\31\30\30\31). You really can't tell if this one hasn't been RNG'd or cooked up with Pokesav.
  16. Could you be specific enough?
  17. I think I found a limitation\bug to the program: it doesn't handle Pokemon containing Japanese\special characters in OT. It says it decodes correctly, but when sending it to the DS communication fails (blue screen, and the screen blinks rapidly for a while). It works just fine with Pokemon not containing them. Attached is an Ageto Celebi Pal Parked to HG. This and a Manaphy with an OT containing the O with a dot in the center fail to transfer. CelebiTest-HG.pkm
  18. Nice! That means we can already do a legit.exe check on a GTS Pokemon before trading, as well as view their moves\IVs\EVs. At least as long as you can reroute the traffic. We just need a program that can access the GTS directly without the need for a DS. Possibly more complicated: finding AR codes that can do the same, at least for IVs\moves.
  19. You wouldn't need to hack the ROM, though, right? Could it be possible to have a program that resolves gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net to one of our own, and use a stock cartridge? This might be more effective with people who still use the Nintendo WiFi connector. I'd like to see a private GTS server that people can arrange private trades on. With the hash-checking, you could arrange for a specific person to pick it up, and you wouldn't need to both be online at the same time. And you could make requests on the server's website like "Timid Kyogres only" and then the search results on the DS would only return Pokemon that matched. More sophisticated hack-checking, like a built-in legit.exe could also be added to the server.
  20. There's an N64 emulator that allows you to emulate a Transfer Pak and load a GB save file into Stadium, and upload Pokemon. The same emulator can also has internet connectivity, making it possible to play Stadium against someone online. They don't work at the same time, unfortunately. Though I suppose you could just upload your Pokemon to a Stadium box first, and then play against others. I think it might be some fork of Project64, but I'm not sure. As for Gen3 and \Colosseum compatibility, the GC-GBA link actually requires code sent by the GC to be run by the GBA. No GC emulator has this kind of connectivity.
  21. If you do not have a Pokemon on your Pokewalker, but you still have a course loaded, a random Pokemon MAY appear. A random Pikachu appeared on my Pokewalker some days after I retrieved my Pokemon from Yellow Forest, and I could battle other Pikachu with it. I guess it thought I was lonely. I've gotten two different sets of IVs with the same PID. There is no PID<->IV correlation, but all PIDs from the Pokewalker will be in the form D5FFFF?? (where ?? is a random 16-bit number). This also makes it very possible to RNG for an ID\SID that results in shiny Pokewalker Pokemon (1-in-32 chance with a correct PID). I haven't actually tested this yet, though.
  22. I recommend pressing Start with the bonus disc. That's the only way it worked for me.
  23. Hmm. Maybe, but he's developing a PID generator for 3rd gen Pokemon in Colosseum.
  24. In RSE, Mirage Island appears if some part of the PID (no one seems sure which part) of a party Pokemon matches the daily Mirage Island number. If the day rolls over to the next day while the game is off, the Mirage Island will not be set until the game is started. So it should be possible to RNG for a specific Mirage Island number. Then one can also RNG-abuse for a Pokemon with a compatible PID. Only we don't know how the Mirage Island number is set, and I don't know what the RAM location for it is. There's an AR code that apparently sets the Mirage Island number to that of a certain hacked Feebas (PID of C7B8C7BA, Trainer ID and SID of 0). I don't know how to make sense of it, but I'm posting it in case it helps anyone identify where to look: 4E629017 EAD5914E
  25. If he just needs to generate a shiny PID with no regard for whether it's valid or not, then the chained shiny algorithm is fast and works for his purposes. Kazo, what does the code look like now?
