    Does anyone know if the device can back up a retail copy of Pokemon Black/White? The english version is coming out soon and I don't want to spend money on a retail copy until I can fully enjoy every feature of the game. Does anyone have a ARDSi and a japanese copy of the game? It doesn't have an IR port so I'm assuming its just like any other cartridge but I didn't do much research on the design of the cartridge so I don't know. If you have both of the ARDSi and a japanese retail, please fill me in if it can be backed up. For those who have a ARDSi, please note that there is a update for the firmware for the ARDSi called the v1.25 that came out on October. Check it out so you're up to date with your firmware Thank you for your time.

    I was wondering.. can event pokemon ever come out shiny when generating their PID/IVs?

    The legit checker checks the event one as ONLY chained shiny and using the codes make it hacked. It's not the same at all, really.

    I don't know how the AR for the DS Lite works but the one for the DSi you have to put the game cart onto the AR for it to work. Is it the same?

    Guys if you can please poke Datel customer service with this problem, email or call. That's the ONLY way they ever update their products with new software. Sad.. but true. They release codes for the game that don't work very well and even then gbatemp does a WAY better job at codejunkies's MAIN purpose, supplying codes.

    Nothing with the rebattle Red Gyarados yet? It won't come out legit any other way else using codes that run into anything or with a shiny code. It's a chained shiny that just stays there when checked by the legit checker.

    Use the PID/IV feature next to the PID when you edit a pokemon. Click on generate, only Type 1 pokemon are legit.

    I tried I really tried but I don't know how to make the rebattle codes. I know its about using a memory viewer and an event flags or something but I can't even get desmume to work. Can someone please make them? Just for Red Gyarados please. I don't know any other way to get a chained shiny so this is the only thing I will ask for please and thank you.

    Actually I assumed they had the mystery gift algorithm so there really is no correlation between the PID and the pokemon. I read it from Sabre's post somewhere and I think it's not in the Legality Checker yet. You just have to wait a bit till it's updated.

    Shouldn't it be possible yet? I got as far as being able to put in the Game ID into the system but I don't know what the Game Code is exactly to make it completely legit. I think that's the missing piece in order to back up your save file.

    I downloaded the newest legality checker and it seems I can't use the PIDs from the PID/IV generator anymore. They all or almost all come out as hacked. Is there a new PID/IV generator is it is not possible to have max IVs anymore or something of that matter?
