  1. Thanks for the advice! Felt like forever waiting for someone to leave a comment.
  2. Semi-serious, but still a gimmick since my receiver isn't a standard sweeper... So let me present: Baton Pass to Pikachu!!! [sprite]291[/sprite] Ninjask (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Speed Boost EVs: 248 HP/8 Atk/184 Def/68 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Protect - Substitute - Baton Pass - Harden --- Ninjask is my lead, and it's main purpose is to baton pass speed boosts. Alternate sub and protect until maxed, and then baton pass to another Pokemon. [sprite]235[/sprite] Smeargle (M) @ Shed Shell Ability: Own Tempo EVs: 96 HP/120 Def/252 Spd/40 SDef Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Spore - Ingrain - Substitute - Baton Pass --- Smeargle is used for the ever-important Ingrain, which blocks whirlwind and roar, and also heals everyturn, therefore nullifying any sand or hail effects. After the speed boost, Spore ensures a sleeping enemy, and Smeargle can then set up and pass. [sprite]212[/sprite] Scizor (M) @ Occa Berry Ability: Technician EVs: 248 HP/88 Atk/172 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Iron Defense - Baton Pass - Bullet Punch --- Scizor is a counter to many OU threats, and can also boost defense to pass on. His role is simple - baton pass him against something he can counter, set up, and then sweep what he can before baton passing. [sprite]251[/sprite] Celebi @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP/80 Def/176 Spd Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Calm Mind - Grass Knot - Psychic - Baton Pass --- Celebi is bulky, and provides Calm Mind to my team. Psychic and Grass Knot provide coverage against additional threats to my team. [sprite]134[/sprite] Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Water Absorb EVs: 192 HP/252 Def/60 Spd Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Baton Pass - Wish - Substitute - Ice Beam --- Vaporeon can set up extremely bulky substitutes, and Ice Beam can take down many dragon or flying types that try to switch in. (Die Gliscor, die!) Wish provides healing to my team. [sprite]025[/sprite] Pikachu (M) @ Light Ball Ability: Static EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power [ice] - Grass Knot - Surf --- And finally, my receiver. Pikachu's role is to wait in the back until all boosts have been amassed. Then I baton-pass to Pikachu (preferably behind a sub) and then proceed to sweep the opposing team. Beware the yellow electric rat!
  3. You're hacking a team, just use whatever legendary you want, and put whatever moves you want on it. Once you've cheated, you've cheated, so you might as well go all the way.
  4. Don't get Dragon Rage. It only does 40 damage, there's no point to it. Aqua Tail will give you better coverage.
  5. It would help if in the future you posted it's other moves, it's nature, and what you want to use it for. This is a pretty easy question though. Aqua Tail is definitely the better option.
  6. [sprite]482[/sprite] Azelf @ Focus Sash Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Stealth Rock - Fire Blast - Psychic - Explosion Weaknesses: Bug, Ghost, Dark Resists: Fighting, Psychic Immune: Ground Azelf is a quick standard lead. Focus Sash ensures that it will get Stealth Rock out. Fire Blast can be used for Scizor, Jirachi, or Metagross. Psychic increases type coverage. However, I will usually use Explosion to heavily damage or even possibly kill the enemy lead. [sprite]251[/sprite] Celebi @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spd Bold nature (+Def, -Atk) - Leech Seed - Thunder Wave - Grass Knot - Recover Weaknesses: Flying, Poison, Bug (4x!), Ghost, Fire, Ice, Dark Resists: Fighting, Ground, Water, Grass, Electric, Psychic Celebi is both a wall and a nuisance. Thunder wave is a powerful move that allows my sweepers to set up easily, leech seed is annoying to the enemy and may force them to switch out, ensuring my stealth rock hits more often. Recover is to allow Celebi to last longer, and grass knot is a strong STAB move that's useful against Tyranitar and Gyarados. [sprite]395[/sprite] King Dedede (Empoleon) (M) @ Petaya Berry Ability: Torrent EVs: 12 HP/12 Def/232 Spd/252 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Agility - Substitute - Surf - Ice Beam Weaknesses: Fighting, Ground, Electric Resists: Normal, Flying, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Water, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Dark (Niiiiice) Immune: Poison My favorite sweeper. Switch in on something it resists, use agility, and then sub my way to a special attack + torrent boost. Surf is a powerful STAB that can one-hit many opponents, and Ice Beam provides coverage against dragons and flying types. [sprite]068[/sprite] Machamp (M) @ Leftovers Ability: No Guard EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dynamicpunch - Payback - Stone Edge - Ice Punch Weaknesses: Flying, Psychic Resists: Rock, Bug, Dark No Guard Machamp. A good partner for Celebi in annoying the enemy. Dynamic Punch confuses 100% of the time, and no one likes using a confused Pokemon. Stone Edge is very powerful, especially since it has no chance to miss now. Ice Punch and Payback provide additional coverage. I decided not to use the Restalk set, since I find I always have a hard time getting it to work. [sprite]479[/sprite] Rotom-h @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Overheat - Hidden Power [Ground] - Shadow Ball Weaknesses: Ghost, Dark Resists: Flying, Poison, Bug, Steel, Electric Immune: Normal, Fighting, Ground Rotom-H covers some weaknesses in my team. It's immune to ground and fighting, and can take down electric Pokemon with HP Ground, therefore completely covering Empoleon's only weaknesses. Shadow Ball is a strong STAB, Thunderbolt is useful against Gyarados, and Overheat helps against steel types. [sprite]461[/sprite] Weavile (M) @ Choice Band Ability: Pressure EVs: 40 HP/252 Atk/216 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Pursuit - Ice Shard - Ice Punch - Low Kick Weaknesses: Fighting (4x!), Rock, Bug, Steel, Fire Resists: Ghost, Ice, Dark Immune: Psychic My revenge killer. Pursuit is a OHKO against Gengar or Alakazham, even if they don't switch out. Ice Shard is a strong STAB priority move, useful against dragon types that may want to set up (Latias). Ice Punch is used against grass types, and low kick is a very powerful move against Pokemon such as Tyranitar. Threats: [sprite]485[/sprite] Heatran with substitute and HP electric poses a threat, as it can counter my Empoleon and take on Rotom.
  7. Cool, because purple is my favorite colour =)
  8. I was in the middle of this, all I had left to do was zip it and upload it. D= Oh well, it needed to be done, so good job =)
  9. Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses
  10. Hit Ho-Oh.
  11. Hit Ho-Oh, which is probably already dead, but I lost track and will keep doing so until this thread is updated.
  12. I was under the impression that the class number didn't matter if it only had one ability =S If it does, then my Pinlup is non-legit anymore.
  13. Really? The first Pinlup I got was female. Strange. I could have opened up a breeding business! Despite trying to keep this save legit....l ended up Pokesaving on the Modest nature I wanted - although I didn't mess with anything else. And from now on, no more Pokesaving!
  14. Ah, that's sweet. Trying to get a good nature male Pinlup =) Then I'll name him King Dedede!
  15. Does anyone know when your starter Pokemon's gender, nature, and IV's are determined? When you first start a new game? Or when you first choose one?
