  2. @ajxpk thanks! Good to know where some of the screenshots came from! (Pokemon GS demo screenshots start at 15:30.) Your save data appears different from mine, but it appears completely blank, besides some header information. Also, I find it interesting that it says sav.dat. Did you replace Crystal VC or something? Also, did you attempt to "save" using debug menu? Additionally, I've hidden your post regarding the VC creation, because it was giving the impression that you wanted to give away the rom. Anyhow, my "save". (it says modded, cause its the ver with the fixed header) :Gold Demo modded.sav This segmented below was added via an edit to my post: here are some of my cheat codes: First two cheats, changes lead in party to shiny. (Changes IVs/DVs to FA and AA) [Note, they won't sparkle. Only Pikachu and Sunflora was set to have the sparkle animation] Next two cheats, changes the species of the lead in party to 0x19 (hexadecimal), 25 in Decimal. So basically its 01xxABD6 and 01xxB2D6. (Both must be changed) The highlighted code changes lead of party to Lv.100, tho it is kind of worthless, since the HP doesn't change.. I can probably make codes to create Masterballs, if anyone wants. edit 2: I just saw this on TCRF's GS google sheet. Enable this cheat before starting the game (without debug menu), and disable it after starting a new game You'll get to playthrough the game normally, choose player name, and pick a starter! (you'll still get stuck at the gate, tho)

  3. On November 15th 1997 a playable demo of Pokémon Gold and Silver debuted at Space World '97. This demo was never to be seen again until today. On May 31st 2018 an anonymous person dumped a ROM of the elusive demos, twenty years and six months since it was last playable by the public. Pokemon Gold and Silver we're originally supposed to be released in 1998, however didn't arrive until November 21 1999 in Japan. With that in mind the final versions of Pokemon Gold and Silver is two years more developed then the Space World 97 Demos, making this an extraordinary find, even more so that it's made it's way to the public. Their is a Google Spreadsheet with Info on a WIP translation from people who've had this for a while it seems. I can't post that though as it also links to the rom. On the debug roms you can press select at the title screen to view the main debug menu. Pressing Down + B + A at the title screen will allow you to adjust the time.

  4. I wonder who else on this forum has autism like I do. I mentioned in my profile all about my autism and how it effects my brain too. I don't mean to scare people off by it....but for now, having my profile explain it comfort's me. I cried a lot over things I don't quite know how to control due to the autism tonight too :( I may also join some autism support forum sometime soon too. I want to meet others like me and maybe support them also with what i've learned from being mentally disabled myself....

  5. I actually can't believe it but somehow I got a shiny Pokemon in Pokemon quest already. I'm not sure what the odds are for this but It's still pretty cool. I have only found a few shiny pokemon ever in all of my Pokemon games but somehow I have found one shiny in the original Pokemon rumble for wii and now Pokemon Quest lol. Post replies with your own shiny Pokemon if you find one.

  6. Mostly been looking into move mechanics but this seemed relevant here. I'll repost my (very basic) notes of first mon memory addresses from smogon here. They are very similar to vanilla but just offset. Interesting that the blastoise in that video a few posts above has the fade in effect when sent out. ALSO in your response to the SGB borders being different... you can get those vanilla SGB borders to load if you have a save file present. Not sure why, but it's something.

  7. erm, the answer to your question is in the description. edit: Basically wild and gift (and the event) Zygarde comes with Aura Break. This one is the one with Power Construct. (needed for Complete Form) I uploaded it, because potentially: 1. not everyone has the cells needed to change it's ability 2. not everyone knows how to give themselves more cells 3. not everyone knows it ability can be changed in-game 4. not everyone knows how to change it's ability on PKHeX and most importantly: 5. it's a cool entry to have on our forums

  8. This indeed happens. The data structure was preplanned, (moves, origin game, species), and only some details were generated on the spot (items, PID, nature, OT gender). this also happens to majority of Gen 4 events too. They probably left the origin game static, because.. Nobody can see it so it doesn't matter? XD

  10. Both myself and my younger sister have Asperger's. I also have Tourette's, OCD and ADHD, which were daignosed when i was 6. My mom suspected i was on the spectrum, but I wasn't daignosed until i was 18. I too have cried over lack of control in my life. I think we all (not just autists) struggle with that. And don't think of autism as a disability, we're just wired a bit differently. I consider myself differently abled, not disabled.

  11. I'm browsing through TCRF's page for this and it's really interesting to get an insight into how they develop and test these games.

  12. Press select at title screen to enter debug menu, Choose second top option to play the game with debug options. now, holding B to run allows walk through walls. Also, here's an image document I made to compare old school footage to the data in the game. There's a few map images I haven't been able to replicate or fully replicate, so take a screenshot if you managed to find the spot! Here it is. The image is big, so open in new tab to view it: Do note that the maps I could not replicate, appear to be from an even older showcase of the game. The notable difference, is best exemplified by Tin Tower comparisons. The older copy has glass windows on the doors, and the newer one (and the one leaked) users striped textured doors. edit: I think a bunch of information matches this: http://www.glitterberri.com/pokemon-gold-silver/spaceworld-97-demo/ edit2: I found another image, and managed to match that too!

  14. I recently was frustrated that this rom hack didn't support the new luma patching feature, so I repackaged all the versions.
