  1. This type of Pokémon shouldn't be traded at all, I mean it makes people happy until they find out the real deal with them.

  2. Hey everyone, just for starters since I figure most of you don't know me, I've been floating around these forums for years lurking on a lot of the Gen3 event progress that's been made. Last July on @InsaneNutter's site I even found the "Interactive Multi Media Game Disc" that would later be discovered to have the files for JPN Berry Glitch Zigzagoon. Just so you guys know that I'm not a complete noob to some of this haha :). Anyways, ever since I found out about the Meteor Jirachi successfully being retrieved and JPN Berry Glitch ZZ being found hidden in the game files of the demo disc, my interest was peaked to try and find more hidden files within some of the older GC discs. Looking through redump.org I stumbled upon this dump from last November. It is "Pokémon Colosseum: Kakuchou Disc" and is a version of the Japanese AGETO Celebi bonus disc with a playable demo of Pokemon Channel instead of the various video previews. The MD5 hash of the "pokocolo_ex.tgc" files is the same for both the regular bonus disc and the Kakuchou Disc. -[Snip]- Here is a quick video of the disc: Within the "pch_TRIAL.tgc" file there are a number of .bin files that seem to resemble the Meteor Jirachi.bin (in file size) at first glance, but the headers do not exist/match that of the Jirachi files. I believe further research is needed on this though, as I'm mostly positive these .bin files are not in the full release of the actual Pokemon Channel game. Here is a download link to all of the .bins within the pch_TRIAL.tgc > thumbcode. Hopefully someone can help in figuring out what it is these files are, all I recognize is the Pokemon names before the .bin. On another note I have been exploring the pokecolo_ex.tgc files and have been trying to distribute the coupon.bin and pkjb_test.bin file using @Lycp01's method to distribute Meteor Jirachi. I've tried altering the headers/footers and have so far managed to get the distribution process to seemingly begin before the GBA goes to a gray screen and hangs, while the distribution ISO gives the yellow error, and I again believe more research is needed into this haha. I hope this post was interesting or helpful in someway, any feedback or contributing research would be greatly appreciated. Even if all of the .bin files turn out to be duds, I'd at least like to confirm it to put my mind at rest!

  4. I saw the same image here, but yours is clearly an unedited version, as the area that is watermarked, well, isn't watermarked on your copy. I wanted to add it to our Event Gallery cause it is a cool photograph, but was wondering who to credit

  5. I just want to thank you for reimagining one of my favorite games from my childhood. I had just finished playing the original when my curiosity led me to search online for a possible mod, and, boy, did I stumble down the rabbit hole. I'm addicted. I can't stop myself from playing, and I feel like I'm a kid again, exploring a whole new game. I've only finished up to Phenac City, and I love just about everything you've done with XG. My only complaint is that a lot of Pokemon know the move protect (especially on Mt. Battle), but rather than making the game more "difficult" per se, the unnecessary Protects make the game less enjoyable as you wait and wait and wait for the move to fail before you have the chance to knock out their Pokemon. There was a time on Mt. Battle where a Bellossom used protect 4 times in a row. I didn't even know you could use it that many times lol. That's my only issue with the game. Please keep up the amazing work. I haven't had this much fun playing Pokemon since the first time I ever played. Oh and maybe releasing some kind of guide? If possible, I'd love to make a wiki detailing every trainer with their Pokemon, their moves, abilities, and such, kind of like how Bulbapedia does it. Thanks for the fun

  6. In case you still haven't, I found SM menu data. Took me just a few minutes this time. Replace the values between offsets 4200-421F with: 0C 00 FF 2F 00 01 02 03 08 07 06 0B 0A 09 05 04 00 00 06 00 01 03 80 00 20 4A 7A 46 97 D9 87 46 That'll make all the icons to appear. However, some of them won't work as the "obtained" flag hasn't been triggered, and that includes the Pelago one, so even with this you'll be unable to access it. I don't have a SM save near that point to look for the constant, nor the time to get there from a freshly started game, so if you still going through the game, I'll have to leave that part up to you. PS: Already checked 470, to no avail.

  7. I've been gone for a long time as college and work are taking most of my time (and most of my spare time is now spent at keeping up with seasonal animes), but happened to be lurking here last night and saw jojo's request regarding Poké Pelago, so decided to try it out, as I had plenty of research material -- by which I mean hundreds of save backups on a recycle bin that hasn't been emptied in years. This is what I found out: The encounter with Mohn after the fire trial is controlled by event constant 470. When he's ready to show up, its value is 18000, and after he talks to you becomes 18200. However, as I expected beforehand, changing that alone won't do any good, as the menu will lack the Pelago icon even if the event is flagged as done. After a long and extremely tedious search in HxD, found the menu data. Then replaced the values between offsets 4600-462F with this: That enabled a functional Pelago icon on the menu, so I tried it on an even earlier save (before being dragged to the Trainers' School) and worked just fine, got access to Poké Pelago without having even completed the first trial. No Charizard ride flag needs to be manipulated. So, got these and dumped'em: 041 - Zubat - 7D4CC628B493.pk7 086 - Seel - BBC8B9E66C4A.pk7 278 - Wingull - 61E2C8C68B7D.pk7 731 - Pikipek - 4556223AD842.pk7 Lacking Cutiefly Also, these three stayed, so here, in case you want the things to have actual trainer data: 086 - Seel - B5D8B9E66C4A.pk7 278 - Wingull - E954E6BE24C2.pk7 731 - Pikipek - BA51A9B71124.pk7 Seel is the same as the dumped one, but Wingull and Pikipek are different. Also, met dates might seem impossible as of today, but that's just cuz I changed my device's date to accelerate the process. *All of this applies solely to USUM. Haven't checked whether SM is any different or not.

  8. Sorry for posting on an old thread but, for anyone still interested, I just posted a youtube video explaining how to do this. No idea how to use offsets or anything like that but here was my method:
