  1. Yeah they used the wrong star. They used the hollow star, not the filled star. Not the first time they screwed something up. Per that article, the name will change based on the pokemon's language tag.

  2. I think they screwed up and used an illegal OT name. Also it isn't shiny, so I am not so thrilled Here is an article about it:

  3. Here's an image of how the changed OTs will look like (I actually did the trades, lol) Also added the image to the event gallery screenshots area.

  4. Well, for everyone freaking out about the OT name, they have one day to change it. Also: 1. If I'm not mistaken, the event starts 7AM on 11 July in Japan (meaning technically no one has access to the serial codes yet) 2. Why are people trading an event online, that isn't officially receivable yet? -.- 3. Wow, that is some screw-up (also @Saul oseguera this thread answered your question from the download page, I believe)

  5. At least they are not completely blocking the Pokemon from beeing traded like they did with SG Summer'15 Rayquaza. But whoever is responsible for making the Event Pokemon should better check which characters are actually valid before release, lol.

  6. Yeah, Nintendo doesn't know which characters are available on their ingame keyboard....

  8. Thanks for the tests and screencaps. I edited the /r/pokemontrades info post linked above to include the Mew.

  12. With the free raid pass i noticed if you have one in your bag and don't use it the day you got the pass, you can use it the next day and still a free raid pass that day too, allowing you to do two free raids in one day. I was able to do a Croconaw and Exeggutor raid on Saturday, both with free passes. I think two days worth of coins (presuming you max out 50 per day) is a lot for a premium pass, just to have a chance at one raid.

  13. Yeah, that would have made sense. (Tho, I would keep fighting gyms and place Pokemon there to earn the coins) Yup, that is exactly why Pokemon Go is still a thing! Happy birthday PGo!

  14. It means for Pokemon with this "encounter type", the PID generated for it is not valid. To get a valid PID, use RNGReporter or PokeGen To create the PID. (It's because in Gen 3 and 4, the way RNG generates stats have a correlation, example certain PID will have certain IVs, gender, nature etc)

  15. After some time, I encountered a Cap Pikachu; it seemed as though it would never happen! Also, I participated in my first Raid. It was fun, although I find it silly that you get one Raid Pass per day. It left me wanting to do more of them. Such a challenge to catch those Pokémon.

  16. 1) Not sure what that error is, possible to upload the Kangaskhan? 2) You mean illegal, as in according to PKHeX? PKHeX isn't automatically updated with all the events we get. Take comfort in knowing the wonder card is legal. Also, PKHeX has a function that you can add wonder cards to the checking process. (I don't remember the steps, tho) 3i) " What happens with the Marshadow event has to do with the Mystery Gift Database?," Huh, that statements confuses me. 3ii) " What is the Mystery Gift Database and how does it work? " Our database comprises of wonder cards extracted by users and verified by our staff. We receive, we vet, we upload.

  17. Citra has a compatibility list now in which Pokemon XY are listed as "Bad" ("Game functions, but with major graphical or audio glitches. Unable to progress in specific areas due to glitches even with workarounds."). So I'd say it's a bad idea trying to play through the games on Citra as you might encounter freezes everywhere. People should better play them on an actual 3DS. Or choose another game....

  18. On Bulbapedia, it's stated that "An Internet connection is required" and "unplayable during server maintenance", meaning it's server based, so highly unlikely that it's hackable. What that means is, pretty much almost any other interaction, and generator or coins/jewels, rng factor, is all handled and sent out from server. (which is why you can't play when server is offline) So lets say, if you try to spend Jewels, its not "from your save on your phone", but rather "deducted from the data on server". I doubt those values can be hacked easily. I don't know of much [or rather, any] server-based mobile games being hackable from a coin/in-game-currency generator perspective.. I wish we could be more help regarding this, but until I'm told there's any form of progress relating to this, I'm locking this thread.
