Thanks, man. That makes sense. I haven't had any problem using Pokemon that throw this error in online play, but it must be best practice to keep this squared away in case Nintendo does make it part of the hax checks going forward1 point

I've edited the Title, and rearranged the photos. Thanks for reporting!1 point

For X/Y, the games use your PSS icon instead. Hence why it is only enabled for OR/AS saves. It'll be hidden in future releases to avoid confusion.1 point

We've got a tutorial corner that you can read through! https://projectpokemon.org/forums/forums/forum/102-save-editing-tutorials-and-faqs/1 point

Welcome! If you have a way of dumping your saves you can start a game and add the Hoopa to your save. You can get one here (as a base file which makes editing easy in case you want to do so): As long as you have backups of your saves, messing around a bit with the tool should be the easiest way of learning how to do most of the basic stuff with it.1 point

[Information outdated, follow this instead] It's quite literal. Current handler cannot be past gen OT for transferred specimen. I've highlighted the error. Latest (not OT) Handler refers to the Current handler who is holding on to the Pokemon presently, that isn't the Original Trainer. The error message is basically saying "Hey, how can the present guy be the same guy as the guy from previous generation. that makes no sense yo" for OP, change that to "!" (your present trainer name) (I was using a female gender save, don't mind it) [seriously, all the details are in the error message..]1 point
