Hey i'm Still waiting

You respons is really annoying ...

snag0014.png

, see on cursor, you must click this button on every route was you edit!, if is not work on you side, edit on HEX editor and don't trying a annoying respond it will deleted. i don't know why a "simple thing" is make you confused ...

In response to this post, and to prevent future similar post, should I put a Wild Pokemon Editor For Dummies tutorial, which includes showing to reader where's each button? Or should I make the "Save" button at the bottom-right of the tool larger? Or should I make it multi-language?

For multi language, i sure it will help someone. if is a multi-language i will make this tools become my native language.

i can create custom template for save data into text?

at the very least i know it is in the most recent version. i just downloaded it off the first page and it definitely has it so maybe try downloading that one?

perhaps you have to lift the window up? the bottom part of the program may be under your task bar or something.

i did! maybe i figured out the problem. My computer is not big enough to show the save button so that means i won't be able to finish my hack. :( I don't have another computer aswell.

Wow, that's...really small. I can even frame that with my hands. (I used a ruler.) My hands aren't that big, either. Are you using a Netbook or something?

Edit: I'm not at my computer right now, so I'm not sure what the dimensions for the program is.

... is your problem, but is not crucial problem, you just need a big monitor / enlarge you resolution setting (is need video card ability), just that ...

oh yes, victory road is too big on my monitor.

this program size (window) is 922 pixel x 677 pixel,

if you 14 cm is too small, is need 24.3 cm x 17.9 cm~

is no really big for my monitor (laptop and my old PC monitor).

Go to screen resolution on windows (if you used this OS) you can change it to bigger than 922 pixel x 677 pixel.

Now that I look at it, the tool really is too large. I never took into consideration of user with smaller display, which I should have done. Sorry for that. I might make a smaller/compact version of the tool in the future, but i is not a promise as nowadays I was too busy with my own life to touch on tool development.

After reading the Pokémon Blaze Black & Volt White topic somewhere else, it would be cool if this tool had the Unown forms included.

How can these Unown forms be added manually? I didn't really research it yet, because I'm currently busy with something else.

  1. Why not using PRC? i can modified my mod for can read you mod ROM, i just need hex offset for stat pokemon, attack data, evolution data, wild pokemon data only :/
  2. why not see and experiment, http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?13804-Pok%E9mon-B-W-Wild-Pokemon-Editing is was telling all anything about alternate form from me :/.
  3. for change alternate form is just +8 only :/ unown ID number is 201 (C9) so on HEX is C9 00 MM XX you just added +8 on second byte so for unown B is C9 08 is will become unown B.

I had updated the tool to v1.0.9.4. The only changes are the size of the tool as well as the size of the Victory Road map window. Regarding the Unown alternate shape, will need further testing before I can integrate it into the tool (don't have the Rom to do the testing, plus busy with works). If the size of the tool is still too big, please reply here and state your maximum resolution.

I have an idea that would make this program become much more popular, a possible map editor (Like A-Map), which includes movement permissions.

The problem, of course, is that it's totally unknown how to make a map editor for 4th and 5th Gen, since they use 3D graphics.

Thank you so much everything worked great except :D when I caught the Pokemon the pokedex did not register (you know when you catch a Pokemon for the first time the pokedex comes up and stuff).

this editor will effect if you have national pokedex, is always registered on pokedex in my test.

Personally I love this program, the only problem I've seen is with use of the 5th Gen Pokemon Evo Editor, if you modify Poliwhirl's evolution, it messes up the wild pokemon data for nearly all the routes in this program.

this bug come from pedro tools (5th gen pokemon evo editor), so for some safe method, using narc file mode ... it will not messes up again.

I edited Pinwheel Forest Outside to boost the levels and evolve some of the found pokemon there... Then I moved on and edited how Gurrdur, Karrablast, Shelmet, Leavanny, Swoobat, and Boldore evolve. I also edited the level Zekrom appears at when the game calls for it to appear before the N battle. Problem is I didn't test the game between any of those edits. The Evolution changes worked, I even edited the Maximum EXP of some pokemon like Rufflet as I made it obtainable early. I even changed the starters Abilities and the properties of Aerial Ace (Now has Priority). My problem is something about Pinwheel Forest Outside in this Wild Pokemon Editor just does not work.

I tried to encounter a pokemon on the route and I couldn't get one... The only change I made before this problem appeared was fixing the problem Evolutions caused earlier of having no dialogue or freezing upon conversation. Do you think trying a Clean Rom and reinputting the edits one by one would help it work or at least help identify the problem? As I finally found the Narc that Wild Pokemon Editor uses. I know this isn't quite the right place for this but I assume problem is stemming from Wild Pokemon Editor and the other Edits conflicting so I decided posting here would be correct.

Thank you in advance for your help and thank you so much for making this tool. Right now i'm working on making the game very difficult while leaving it beatable with proper power leveling and strategy.

EDIT: Ok so I used a Clean Rom with only the Wild Pokemon Editor's changes... and still only Pinwheel Forest Outside has absolutely no spawns... I've even tried an instant spawn AR Code... with no luck as if there is just no data there at all... Should I redownload the Editor?

EDIT 2: Alright... I'm getting nowhere again... There is no conflict with the edits that I can find but I still can't get Pinwheel Forest Outside to spawn Pokemon correctly... It acts as if there are no encounters... sorta like I have an infinite repel that is level independent... I've tried using Repel before the first time I had this problem to get to a shaking grass spot to see if the Audino's would be hard to easy to beat. All pokemon in Pinwheel Forest Outside in the Shaking Grass are level 40. I had a level 22 Pignite in front... I found no pokemon when I ran over the shaking grass... I've battled trainers and still just can't get anywhere. Everywhere else the grass produces pokemon encounters. I'm at my wits end and can't figure it out... I'm gonna try it with absolutely no edits real quick like...

EDIT 3: It works fine without the Wild Pokemon Editor edits... so I'm going to try it with the original Pinwheel Forest Outside and keeping the rest of the edits the same... Yeah no... I put in the new Pinwheel Forest Outside I was trying to get to work... and got jack squat out of it... everything else was untouched... is there something wrong with Pinwheel Forest Outside? I don't know how to investigate these things correctly...

EDIT 4: I used the White Rom I'd been using to play the game normally and has always worked and made a copy of it... Apply the changes first changing the pokemon and that worked. Changed the Levels and that worked... Reinserted the old encounter file and it all works now. Thanks for the great and easy to use tool.

My games cannot even run after using this. It was an experience patched rom, so that may be it. Also had issues with the trainer editor by you Zero. I can't get past the first patch... I suppose it'd be safest for me to just use a completely clean rom when trying to make these. My other modifications didn't produce any problems...

Edit: In regards to the Wild Editor, it seems like, hell, I don't know what happened. Just had to keep trying. The text file really made it efficient, using mass replacement with WordPad (Notepad is too limited it seems, it doesn't scan the full list).
