  1. I had updated the tool to v1.0.9.4. The only changes are the size of the tool as well as the size of the Victory Road map window. Regarding the Unown alternate shape, will need further testing before I can integrate it into the tool (don't have the Rom to do the testing, plus busy with works). If the size of the tool is still too big, please reply here and state your maximum resolution.
  2. Now that I look at it, the tool really is too large. I never took into consideration of user with smaller display, which I should have done. Sorry for that. I might make a smaller/compact version of the tool in the future, but i is not a promise as nowadays I was too busy with my own life to touch on tool development.
  3. In response to this post, and to prevent future similar post, should I put a Wild Pokemon Editor For Dummies tutorial, which includes showing to reader where's each button? Or should I make the "Save" button at the bottom-right of the tool larger? Or should I make it multi-language?
  4. By heavily-modified ROM is it only modified using this tool? Or did you modified it using other tools as well? It is quite hard to predict the problem that you might see since we don't know the reason/cause of the problem. However, if your DS refuse to recognize the ROM, then there might be a serious change on your ROM (I think should be somewhere in the NARC header, ROM header, etc). Without take a look at your ROM it'll be hard to tell you if there's a way to fix your ROM. Well, maybe other (Andibad, perhaps) can help with this.
  5. From what I think, to load the (U) and (E) roms shouldn't be very difficult. The issue should be to map the offsets (if they're different).
  6. For the first bug, I can never reproduce the same problem to happen, which also means that since I have no idea how it occurs, I won't be able to fix it. However, I tried to edit a clean ROM from scratch and didn't encounter any bugs. As for whether there are any other bugs, I can answer you: There are bound to be some bugs, just that no one had discovered them yet. No program in this world are totally bug-free, and that's why when you found a bug please report here so that I can fix it as soon as possible.
  7. Can you provide any information, such as what you did, and how it break, as well as which version of the ROM you're using? Unless I know what/where to start looking I won't be able to fix it. Edit: Before I post any update, I think I will post a guide/tutorial on how to use the program.
  8. By right the program will give you the number of choices based on how many formes the Pokemon has. And since I want to make it simpler job for me, I put the formes simply as number instead of the name of the forme. You can still refer to sites such as bulbapedia o serebii. As for why Giratina give you 0,1,1,1, I think it's a bug and I'll look into it. However, since I'm quite busy with my life recently, I can't promise to release an update on any given time.
  9. Hm, I never tried to change the class of the trainer before, so can't give you any definite answer here. Hope got someone who had tried it can give the answer on this.
  10. Great to hear from you. Actually all I did was just learn the structure of narc as well as the .nds file, and the rest was from the information gathered from all around the forum. Now I really want to know what actually happening.
  11. I see. Since it make your life more difficult, then maybe I'll take it down soon if more harm was brought. Sorry for trouble. @axelschiffer: After you edited a trainer, just load the next/another trainer and the previous (edited) one will be automatically saved temporary on the program. The program will not make the permanent changes on your rom until you hit the save button. The main purpose of this tool is to help those who don't know how to extract the content of ROM/narc to edit the trainers. Those who had the knowledge/willing to do so/too much time/does not mind the extra work/play safe you can use Kazo's tool, as it's more lightweight and you might be more familiar with it. Also, if you found any bugs please notify here.
  12. @Paced98: The megaupload link work fine for me. Maybe your ISP or something block it? Either way, why don't you use the Mediafire link instead?
  13. @James816 and @Paced98: I had updated the tool to version 1.0.9.3. Please try it and see if the Ho-oh problem still exist. I tried myself and it seems to fix the problem, but unless the user verify it I can't say it's definitely fixed.
  14. Uploaded. Sorry for breaking my promise of 48 hours. Something happened (in my life) that makes me unable to upload it within the promised time frame.
  15. I'll release the tool hopefully within the next 48 hours. Except for the blank dialog on a single trainer up to Route 7, I did not encounter any other bugs/damages, so I think I will upload it so that more people can tried it out.
  16. @aninymouse: Glad to hear that no damage was caused. For now, everywhere that's possible (except White Forest). The location list on the first post was written since the first version (which lack of few locations), so I just left it there when I edit the post.
  17. Sorry, as I'm not free enough to test the program sooner. I realised that the version 1.0.2 is really broken (something's wrong with the ROM loading function). I had fixed it in v1.0.3, but had no time to upload it (need to deal with life). But please be patient, I'll upload the new version ASAP (I think possibly within 48 hours).
  18. Actually, if you have the knowledge about the header, then you can try to get the v1.0.7 of this tool on the first post. There's one with the capability to edit the header.
  19. I never experienced this before. But maybe it's just as Andibad said, it's the header.
  20. Looks like I won't release the tool, at least until I fix this bug. Details: As I mentioned, I use my tool to edit the trainers (from Route 1 till Elite 4) and try to play through it. However, when I reached the 6th badge, there's one trainer in Route 7 (Pkmn Ranger) with missing dialog (the dialog box still pop up, but give me blank text). Although this is not some major bug, it prove that my technique to try to extract everything and recompile everything is flawed and some major bug might pop up. Edit: Apparently it's not the way I compile the ROM that caused the problem, as I tried to use NitroExplorer to put the modified narc into the ROM and it still caused the same bug. Maybe this bug occur only when the number of Pokemon in a/0/9/3 exceed certain number? Edit 2: I tried to edit 2-3 trainers with my tools but the dialog bug does not occur. My current hypothesis is that the number of pokemons in a/0/9/3 is the one that cause the bug. Maybe when the size of the narc increase it overwrite something in the ROM? Can anyone that had edited their ROM via KazoWar's tool (preferably those who already edited most of the trainers from Route 1 to Route 10) share their a/0/9/2 and a/0/9/3 narc with me? I need them to verify my hypothesis (and it'll be a hell of job if I were to edit that many trainers from scratch myself).
  21. Okay then. I'll look into the issue, but might need few days. So please be patient.
  22. Can you provide more details? What version (EUR? US? JPN?) of the ROM you're using? Edit: Can you try the latest v1.0.2 and see if it fix your problem?
