I've been looking for a while now, but have been unable to find any warp codes for Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire for warping to other locations (you enter a code, then step through a door etc.) I found them for LeafGreen/FireRed, Emerald but unfortunately not for Ruby/Sapphire.

Do these codes even exist for those 2 games? Can anyone share those or point me in the right direction please?

820297F8 XXXX

It's in Gameshark/Codebreaker Format

Replace xxxx with one of these digits found here https://gamehacking.org/vb/forum/video-game-hacking-and-development/hacker-threads/14691-pokemon-emerald-u-rebattle-trainers-code?p=151391#post151391

Credit to Ixkli21 for the location banks. It's for Emerald but should be the same for Ruby and Sapphire. Obviously Emerald exclusive locations won't work on Ruby or Sapphire.

You can use the converter here https://gamehacking.org/system/gba to convert to Action Replay, Select Codebreaker/Gameshark SP/Xploder in the format box, paste the code in the box and press process code.

The below Action Replay code is for Pokemon Fire Red. It gets you a Suicune in box 1 slot 1 of your PC with a Hardy nature, 31 IV in every stat, and 252 EVs in every stat.

1. Does anyone know how I can change the nature on this Suicune to Bold?

2.Also does anyone know how can I extract the part of the code that gets you 252 EVs in every stat (not sure which one it is) and use it on other PKM as well?

Looking for FireRed 1636 v 1.1 Wild Encounter Max IV code. Tried a few already, but they didn't work and I think it's because they were for version 1.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys. I have gotten into cheats lately and have a decent list of FR/LG/R/S which work for no$gba that i can share if anyone wants. Not 100% sure what is 1.0 or 1.1. I have R/S carts with O8A and 11A label stamps. FR/LG i have roms of which have the 'presents' under game freak in the intro, which from what i have read means it is 1.0.

I have moved onto Emerald and cant seem to find any working cheats. I have 2 different versions of emerald but nothing seems to work on either. So wondering if it might be the emulator? Would i have a better chance with a different one? Which is my best bet?

Also, are the only cheats for masterballs and rare candy via the pokemart?

Edit: I have tried all the codes in for Emerald in OP and only Anti DMA (i dont even know what this is), Shiny encounters, Walk through walls and Pokerus worked. I dont know much about these codes so not sure why only those ones are working.

I don't know about the stamps but you can easily check by visiting the Record Corner in any Pokemon Center, if it's called "Corner" you have v1.1, if it's called "Center" instead you have v1.0.

Nope, v1.1 has the "represents", v1.0 doesn't have it.

2 different English versions? Than one of them is probably corrupted/modified. There should only be 1 version of Emerald.

Gen 3 is somewhat difficult when it comes to item cheats. The item pocket is encrypted, so it's easier to not put them into the pocket directly.

Anti DMA (i dont even know what this is)

DMA = Dynamic Memory Allocation, which basically means that some RAM offsets are always changing randomly. So without disabling the DMA some cheats won't write to the desired offset and won't work.

So if a code is not working try using the Anti DMA. If it still doesn't work it could also be a different code format or an issue with your emulator.

@BlackShark I was not expecting a reply that quick. First of all thank you! I will check the records corner so i know exactly what i have. Does that work for all of the gba games?

Im not sure what versions of Emerald i have. Could well all be the same. I downloaded a few hoping one would work.

Last night i downloaded VisualBoyAdvance and a hell of a lot of cheats are working now. so i think the problem was with no$gba.

Thanks again for taking the time to help a noob out lol. If anyone wants R/S/FR/LG cheats i will happily link my excel sheet.

Is there a warp code to southern island for Ruby/Sapphire?

does anyone know if you can enable Southern Island more than twice? iv Caught both Lati and doesnt work anymore.

I'm wondering if anyone ever created codes for the Gen 3 games to modify the IVs of wild Pokemon you encounter. I've seen some for the Gen 4 games so I'm wondering if they exist for the Gen 3 games too, Emerald in particular.

Can somebody give me the codes for Surskit swarms in Pokemon Emerald? This is an indirect swarm only obtained by Record Mixing with Pokemon Ruby / Sapphire, which already had the swarm. I searched online for a long time, but could not find it anywhere.

Check this

Ok well, I just noticed Surskit for Emerald was missing....

Not tested, I just copied the RS values over to the Emerald offsets. Let me know if it works.

When I open Pokemon Emerald (USA/UK version) in an emulator and enter the codes, it does not activate any swarm. I pressed L + R and even entered master code with Anti-DMA.

First of all, thank you for researching this! This is very exciting, I'm adding this to the editor and checking if the surskit swarm on emerald is always the same after mixing records.

Second, I've checked my emerald save with surskit swarm ongoing, and it starts at section 3 0x980. At 0x980 there seem to be se 36 byte slots, each with a different ID. Some are from record mixing, as I can see the ID of the game I mixed with, and some are mine (interviews I think). They may hold data like bough items, pokemon catched and with which ball... that info that you see when you mix records.

Aslo, at 0xC50 in this save I currently have 3 tv announcements: 1 for the outbreak (already seen) and two more that will pop up the following day, as the counter is still at 3 (IDs 0x01 and 0x03).

EDIT: on another save I have 4 announcements, may test later how many they are actually.

I agree the only interesting tv event are outbreaks, but still seems interesting.

BTW, surskit swarm data (the save is just after watching the event on tv):

29 00 00 00 91 00 62 00 00 00 00 00 37 01 00 00
11 00 00 32 03 00 00 00 07 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
AA AA BB BB

AAAA: Game TID
BBBB: TID of the game it was mixed from

Swarm extra data :
37 01 11 00 03 00 00 00 91 00 62 00 00 00 00 00
00 32 02 00

EDIT: Ok, the mix records outbreak doesn't get added to 0x8CC (emerald), but I've checked another save with a normal seedot swarm and it is there. At 0x980 it seems there's room to store 7 (need to check if there can be more) TV programs, the ones that get stored via mix records and other that get generated in-game (like the interview battle). The record mixing surskit swarm gets added to this list and not to the common pokemon outbreak region that is generated in-game.

For the surskit mixed swarm save, it would seem the normal outbreak region (0x8cc in emerald) is all 0x00, except for species, which is 0x0059. I don't know if this is relevant in any way, I'll have to mix records and check the before and after savegames.

It would also seem that when the "in-game" outbreak gets seen, the data at 0x8cc gets erased (again, needs confirmation).

Other TV program IDs I've seen in my saves:

16 - in game or mixed
18 - in game or mixed
19 - in game or mixed
1A
1C
21
25
29 - outbreak ( appears as program at 0x980 region for mix records, at 0x8CC for in-game outbreak)

In game or mixed: the TV program appears when mixing records referring to the mixed OT or in-game referring to the Game's OT

The structure for what I've seen (each tv program is 36 bytes long)

0x00 - Program ID
0x01 - Status?
0x02 - 0x12: Program data? TV program 0x21 has data in all these bytes, other programs use less data.
0x13 - 0x1D: Trainer name
0x1E-0x1F: Game's TID
0x20-21: Record mixing game TID / Game's TID if not from record mixing
0x22-23: Record mixing game TID / Game's TID if not from record mixing

Note: remember all offsets I mention are for emerald

I'm also quite interested in ways to instantiate a Surskit swarm in Pokemon Emerald. Searching around I found this post by suloku upthread that seems relevant to this, but I have no idea how to convert it into a working code.
