Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Fortune
Demichimera replied to WindchildWhimsy's topic in ROM - NDS ROM Hacks
I replaced none shiny Zorua with shiny Zorua, they have different ids, so basically I did. If you want to replace one yourself it's simple once you know what script to edit. 1) Open the rom in sky temple 2) Find the ids of the pokemon you want to replace and the pokemon you want to replace it with. You can find the pokemon by searching the name in sky temple. The id will be next to the name, male and female have different ids. You might need to add/ make more portraits if the pokemon you want doesn't have a full set, not sure tbh. 3) Go to "Script Scenes> Scripts" and hit "Open Script Engine Debugger". This opens the debugger in its own window. 4) In the Script Browser window search for "S02P01A" 5) open "Acting>newtest3.ssb" 6) CTRL+f the id of the pokemon you want t replace, then paste the id of the pokemon you want instead in its place, there should be two lines with the id on to look for, but you can keep using CTRL+f until you've found them all. You'll see a line near them with text that reads something like Is "[CS:K]Zorua[CR] who you want?" You'll want to change name in it too I assume. 7)Save the script and save the ROM and you should be good to go, just reject whoever the test gives you select the one you added manually. - Today

did you remove any old mon to add new one's? -
It is not possible to modify saves on a none modded Switch. This is due to the save files being encrypted and the save managers you would install on a modded Switch can break the encryption. Your options here is either be shiny Bulbasaur the old fashion way, set up the ACE glitch on your save, or find someone in you local area with a modded Switch to trade with. My suggestion is do the ACE glitch since it will give you results closer to what you are wanting without a lot of effort.

Hi everyone Do you remember your very first battle against Cynthia? That sheer wall of difficulty that forced you to rethink your entire team? As we grew up, we learned the intricate mechanics of competitive Pokemon. Unfortunately, when we replay our childhood games today, that thrill is gone. The bosses fall too easily. To reignite that spark, I created Project Caramel. Why Caramel? Because it's a "Vanilla" experience that has been heated up to become richer, darker, and much stronger. The concept is straightforward: keep 99% of the original game intact, but transform every major encounter into a true tactical challenge. This is not a "Kaizo" hack where a random youngster on Route 201 will sweep you with a competitive Bidoof. Project Caramel is designed as a strategic "Boss Rush" embedded within the classic adventure. What changes (prepare to struggle): Only the key battles have been altered: Rivals, Evil Team Bosses, Gym Leaders, the Elite Four, and the Champion. Perfect stats: 31 IVs and 252 EVs optimally distributed across all stats for their Pokemon. Armed to the teeth: Optimized natures, carefully selected abilities, and ruthless held items (Life Orbs, Flame Orbs, Leftovers, Focus Sashes, etc.). Redesigned movesets: No more useless moves. Every attack has been chosen for its type coverage or team synergy. Elegant details: In HeartGold and SoulSilver, major trainers now use custom Poke Balls (Heavy Ball for Jasmine, Moon Ball for Morty...) for absolute thematic consistency. What stays exactly the same: The storyline, the map, and the dialogues. Wild encounters and their locations. Regular route trainers. The progression pace remains natural, with no need for endless grinding. How to install Project Caramel? Important note: The resulting game is currently both in French and in English. However, for technical reasons, the patches must be applied to original American (USA) ROMs. Get the clean USA ROMs of Gen 4 (e.g., 4997 - Pokemon - Platinum Version (USA) (Rev 1).nds). Download the free utility Xdelta UI. In the Patch field, select the .xdelta file for your desired game from the archive below. In the Source field, select your clean American ROM. In the Output field, name your new game. Apply the patch. Compatibility and bugs:The game is completely stable on emulators (DeSmuME, melonDS, etc.) and real hardware (DS, 3DS via Twilight Menu++ or Bootstrap). The anti-piracy patch is natively included for HG/SS.Please note: classic Action Replay (AR) codes will no longer work on these patched versions. This challenge must be beaten fair and square. Inside the download archive, you will find a detailed README alongside documents listing the stats, moves, and items of every single boss to help you prepare your strategy. Credits and Special Thanks: A massive thank you to the entire pret disassembly team (Pokémon Reverse Engineering Team), without whom these highly precise modifications would never have been possible. A very special mention goes to Mow for their remarkable work, as well as to taxicat1 (on GitHub) for their invaluable and decisive help in resolving the Anti-Piracy bugs in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Good luck everyone. Do not underestimate the Elite Four, and feel free to share your defeats (and victories) in the comments! -

So, I missed a bunch of events. Only really looking to do this with Gen 7 and earlier. When you generate a Pokémon based on the PKhex event database, and you generate it based upon creating the wonder card, are there any real differences in terms of legality, or how legitimate it appears? If so, what is the extent of difference? Is there some detectable difference when a wonder card wasn't used to receive the Pokémon, even if it appears as legal with the legality checked on PKhex? That's really all.

I changed my Character from Brendan to May quite some time ago through PKHeX. I vaguely remember that from Gen 6 onward this wasn't possible which changed at some point. I only just now noticed this error. When you change from one to the other Main Character your Characters Mom will Live in Professor Birch House and will be right at the entrance, being completely misplaced to where she normally is in the middle of the room. Brendan and his Mom will now live in your Home sitting at the Table. You can't even fix this if you decide to change your Main Character back again, they will still live in each others House, only your Mom will be in the Middle of the Room for some reason. Is there anything that can be one about this? Some Flag to change maybe? I attached my Save File of Omega Ruby in hopes anyone knows what's up and can fix this. main

I found this hack the other day and have been playing it all weekend. Really like it. But I was wondering. How come it seems like some Pokemon are just randomly shiny? Like Magnezone and Kangaskhan are the ones I've seen so far. Team Charm, Grovyle, Volbeat, and Illumise also appear shiny in the game's intro video before the titlescreen. I'm not complaining or anything, but I'm wondering why the change was made.

Pokemon Colosseum - Umbreon/Espeon Natures+IVs
Kaphotics replied to ImmortalPicture's topic in Pokémon Legality
Use the encounter database in PKHeX and it will generate the starters for the TID/SID of the save file if it is loaded. As for searching for a a TID/SID that gives you both starters as you'd like, I'm not sure something like that exists. -

Pokemon Colosseum - Umbreon/Espeon Natures+IVs
Kaphotics replied to ImmortalPicture's topic in Pokémon Legality
Use the encounter database. PID/IV for the starters is tied to the TID/SID (because they all generate in the same sequence), so you cannot have multiple PID/IVs for a given TID/SID. - Last week

Hello everyone! I am starting my first ever playthrough of Colosseum on Dolphin emulator. I would love to have Espeon/Umbreon with Modest/Calm natures and decent IVs. Can someone give me advice how to generate PID + IV combination for them that would be legal in PKHex?

Hi, would you mind telling me what you did? I've tried replacing every instance of Hisuian Zorua in the script S02P01A to the shiny version (replcing 1232 with 1532) but I'm still getting the non shiny. I've also replaced it in the starter list. EDIT: Female Hisuian Zorua is 1233 not 1232, once I replaced the correct value I got shiny female Hisuian Zorua. I was doing the right thing but misread the id number, stupid mistake. Leaving my comment up in case it helps anyone else trying to do something similar. -
Absolutely amazing, THANK YOU!

Hello friend! Created my account just to answer you. From the start, PID is the Personal ID. It is specific of a pokemon with those IV, that Ability, and that Nature. It is also used (at least in older gens) with the TID and the SID to check if that pokemon is shiny. Getting the TID is easy, as you can check your trained card and it is there. Getting the SID, however, is trickier. The easiest way would be to dump your save file and check it on PKHex, on the last option of "Box", "Party", and "SAV". The one named "Trainer info" has both your TID and your SID. Yes, for creating legal pokemon you will need a different program, the one I use to find all the data is PokeFinder, but i do not believe it to have a PLA section, sorry, Sadly, I got lost with the PID changes on the switch, so I do not know what requirements there are for the legality of a mon on the Switch, but i can tell you that you are right on that last statement, you can't just click the shiny button to make a pokemon shiny, and in fact you wont need it. When the PID of a pokemon and its TID/SID are a match for a shiny, pkhex will automatically show it as a shiny. Good luck.

1. it's somewhere on the map, but it hasn't been captured yet so it has no location value set. 2. Alola, Raichu - Side Missions - Pokémon Legends: Z-A - the game remembers what you gave her in the scripted event.

Please excuse the potato quality images. Looking for a little clarity on these sections because I can't seem to find proper answers anywhere online. I understand the Shiny Box shows the shinies that have generated but it's telling me that the Encounter Type is "Invalid". is the shiny legit/ where is it trying to tell me where it is? This second one is a lot more confusing. What exactly does the Scripted box mean? There is a Raichu, telling me that the Encounter Type is a standard encounter in Wild Zone 3. I go there and it is only the usual 3 Pikachu like normal. Does this Raichu actually exist somewhere or not? Any help or I sight that can be given would be greatly appreciated!
