  2. Hi, I'm just wondering why I cannot legalize Pokemon from Wild Encounters that are rare, random grass and from raid dens I caught in Pokemon Sword and why can't I legalize it with Max IVs, can you help me with that? It marks as illegal, can you help me how to legalize it?
  3. I've been going back though my Z-A saves, particularly those from before I did any editing, to see which pokémon were still being marked as invalid now that we're some way out from the release and most of the obvious legality edge cases are resolved. I've found three, all relate to crossovers between sectors. The Watchhog is a static encounter from the "The Burning Gaze of Watchog" mission. The encounter database has its location as Autumnal Avenue, but it can also be caught while standing in the adjacent Magenta Sector 2. Similarly Diggersby is from "Underneath the Holovator" mission. Encounter database has Vernal Avenue, but Vert Sector 9 is also possible. Finally Pansear was caught from this spawner in Jaune Sector 5: The red line marks the transition between Sectors 5 and 8, and it's possible to catch it in the latter as I have. All three show as legal if I change their caught location to the "correct" sector. 0505 - Watchog - E2A21CE36BF7.pa9 0513 - Pansear - DAB9D908124D.pa9 0660 - Diggersby - 8EAFDAECD07F.pa9
  4. It's probably a you issue ngl, never heard of anything crashing as frequently as what you're experiencing. On which emulator are you playing? The dev is currently busy with other projects so he cannot get back to it as frequently. I picked it up once again yesterday but considering I won't be available to work on it for 2 weeks soon, the wait will have to continue. Atomic Wastes is in the Future. You have to complete Special Episode 5 to access it. This is a known issue about jobs in the current version. This is a floor available in higher difficulties. Next version prevents those. BizHawk is still to this day fairly experimental and kind of skewed towards running original games rather than hacks, which implies doing workarounds to make original games work... which impacts hacks. No translations for the mod.
  5. Hello! I apologise if this isn't the correct subforum - I have captures of all ranked battles from Pokémon Legends Z-A (from Season 1 to now) which include, as I understand it, the rules data for each season. I was curious if Project Pokémon is currently tracking this data? ~Billy
  6. is it known which flags affect which titles?

  8. I'm trying to make a mod for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu (and why not Pokémon SW or SH after that) but there's one thing I can't seem to get working and it's the trainer editing from pkNX. So I'm editing what I'd like to see changed (such as Pokémon nature/IV/EV and what not). I then click on save and close the window. But when I get back in the tab, everything I changed went back to what it was before. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? If so, what is it?
  9. I've made a bunch of revisions on the latest commit to address the behavior you've mentioned: Small tweaks to HGSS ball check · kwsch/PKHeX@6f9daae We weren't able to figure out how exactly Mood can get deposited into the Box without being reset to 0; we did notice that swapping party slots after interacting with them in the overworld can give Mood to eggs in the party. Seems the game has an issue with keeping track of pointers. If you're able to figure out a clean repro step, that would be helpful. Here are some of the notes regarding Mood's mechanics: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/blob/6f9daaed0492c4d3910a0aa0e15ed8ffaee3527f/PKHeX.Core/Legality/Verifiers/Misc/MiscVerifierG4.cs#L117-L125
  10. Gen1 save files are 0x8000 bytes (32KB) not 80KB. If your emulator is not exporting save data, then you should consult with the emulator developer('s documentation). You really shouldn't use web emulators, as you can play your ROM dump on your PC with an actual emulator that saves correctly.
  11. I wanted to play on my old save I had and maybe transfer my Pokémon using a editor but I cant find any way to open it. I think it might be because I was using a emulator in a browser before I figured out how to download one so its a .save not a .sav, and I cant even find the website I originally played it on, and any emulator/editor I find cant open it. so Idk if I'm just blind but I cant find out what I can do. pokemon-yellow.save

  13. I've been doing some tests by opening my save files and looking at what I have in them, and some Pokémon are being incorrectly flagged as illegal: - In Pokémon Battle Revolution, it seems that a Pokémon in a Sport Ball is displayed as being in a Poké Ball (likely part of the ball reset when moving to a game not supporting said ball), leading to it being flagged as illegal while the Pokémon in itself is legit. I tested it with a Weedle caught in a Sport Ball in SoulSilver, which was then traded in Pokémon Diamond, and said Pokémon Diamond was then synched with Pokémon Battle Revolution to view its save. The synched game may impact the result for the ball compatibility, but I'm not currently able to test it more at the moment to give more feedback. Additionally, I have seen some Pokémon that are incorrectly flagged until being selected (there's also the PP gen 1/2 -> gen 7 transfer case, but from what I know it is a known thing): - In Pokémon SoulSilver, it seems Pokémon brought from Gen 3 are incorrectly flagged as being illegal ("Invalid: Can't have ball for encounter type."), which is automatically corrected upon loading the Pokémon. There may be more specific details into that, as I have some Gen 3 Pokémon that were traded from another game who don't show this issue (perhaps it is game specific/gets cleared upon trade?). - A similar problem may exist for Pokémon who were bred in a specific game but hatched in another, but I'll need to do more tests to see if I can see some logic in it/reproduce it properly before continuing on it. - Still in SoulSilver, some of my Pokémon have a Walking Mood set while in the PC, which PkHeX flags as incorrect and automatically corrects it. I haven't touched those Pokémon nor those Walking Mood, so it may be possible that said value can be kept in some form in the PC, but I would need to do more testing (in case the values are important, one of my PC Pokémon had 40 while another had 127). The cases given here are either very specific or not extremely specific, so you should be able to test it with local Pokémon granted they meet the conditions encountered here; if there's a need to do more testing, provide more info or get pkmn files as to make things easier, let me know, I may not be able to provide help right away depending on my time but I'll try to do my best.
  14. Yeah, I kind of assumed as much. That is pretty unfortunate, but thanks anyway for the help.
  15. Do you have the save file that contains Aggron Smash?
  16. So, the tower of demise, which is necessary for the globes, crashes constantly, way more than any dungeon. Any way to get past it? Or maybe a code for the associated globe?
  17. Not a valid save file size. Whatever conversion you tried was not right.
  18. I forgot to give the save file. Pocket Monsters - Crystal Version (J) [C][!].sav
  19. okay thanks but now the save file doubled in size and the error is popping up again. I apologize for bothering you so much with questions.
  20. How would one go about editing what abilities do? I don't think there are any tools for such a purpose at the moment. For example, I want to make gale wings activate at any HP instead of just at full health, I'd assume you can probably just no-op the code checking for HP, or set it to HP more than zero instead of equal to 100% But does anyone know where that information is located for abilities? and additionally, after finding the specific binary/s in the ROMFS/EXEFS are there any tools that would allow users to convert the raw hex data into human readable code?
  21. Same thing for me i'm hyped for version 3.1 and i can't stand the wait ^-^ But we gotta let the dev cook.
  22. Did you know underleved still exist nowadays ? I didn't. Thanks to ProfessorRex here a list of the non event ones in SV : -Tera Poison Sliggo (lv30) in wild tera -4* Tera Raid Bisharp (lv45) -4* Tera Raid Drakloak (lv45) -4* Tera Raid Zweilous (lv45) And here all I found in Grand Underground at level 16 in BDSP (with National Dex and 1 badge) Spacious Cave Raticate Gloom Venomoth Primeape Rhydon Houndoom Mightyena Crawdaunt Sandslash (Pearl) Shelgon (Pearl) Graveler Golbat Machoke Grassland Poliwhirl Weepinbell Skiploom Cacturne Ariados Ledian Purugly (Pearl) Skuntank (Diamond) Fountain Dewgong Gastrodon Rocky Pupitar (Diamond) Lairon Camerupt Vibrava Volcanic Magcargo Swampy Weezing Tangrowth Dazzling Banette Dusclops Kirlia Some remain mystery (if you can really get them underleved) such as the ones where you need Surf (Lanturn, Tentacruel, Whiscash) or the Icy Cave (Walrein, Glalie, Sealeo). I don t think it s possible, but maybe lv33 Glalie/Walrein can be a thing at least ? Did you find any other ones in BDSP/SV/ZA ?
  23. Majority of the savedata is missing, including the first half which contains game progress/party. Only a few boxes towards the end are present, but you had nothing in those slots. Nothing to recover.
  24. I don't know if this is a topic discussed in the past (it probably has) and I have a general idea as to where I need to edit to get this, but I know very little about the hex data of the games. I want to edit particular Trainer classes' encounter and battle themes. How can I edit what songs play? I can provide a list of which Trainers and which songs I want to use if need-be.
  25. I have encountered a promblem that I failed to unlock Atomic Wastes even I recurited Deoxys via a battle. I tried to pass Fallen Star Remains again, but it is of no effect. Now I complete all the dungeon about world treasure except Atomic Wastes mentioned by Scizor. Is this a bug?
  26. So, a couple of years ago, my save file of Pokemon Ultra Sun randomly got corrupted I believe right after using the GTS and receiving I think a Venusaur or Blastoise, not fully sure. Upon the GTS trade happening, the game crashed showing me I think a godmode 9 failure, and when I tried to open up the game again, it told me my save file was corrupted. I was stupid and didn't think to backup my saves every now and then, and especially it didn't occur to me to try to regain my save file until many years later when I came back to the Pokemon scene. I have some valuable pokemon here and there, but the ones that matter most to me are my team members and my og team I transferred from Sun including my mystery gift mythicals. I have about over 1000 hours of progress, maybe even more as I would play it every single day when I was younger. The save does mean a lot to me, so I would love to know if it's possible to restore the save data, or if I'm out of luck and have no choice but to restart from the very beginning with nothing. I attached my save file that pksm extracted, but it doesn't work with pkhex due to being corrupted from my testing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's bad news only. main
  27. Can you please provide a link to the program you are using? I haven't come across GameCube RNG before.
  28. Different emulators store the RTC data at the end of the save file differently. PKHeX does not do any conversion between emulator save files. Try finding a converter online, or refer to the emulator documentation online.
