Hello i had the same issue using melonds. I was able tosolve this issue by disabling Jit and lowering the internal resolution to 4x. Hope this helps

You need to go into the downloadable content setting under the data management section of your 3ds's settings and delete the update to apply the changes. Data management > downloadable content > delete the file named "Alpha Sapphire"

Hey man! This rom is really awesome, I'm playing the 1.4 version of the game from the hShop on my 3ds. I haven't had this much fun with a rom in forever!! However, I did notice that none of the mega stones nor master ball are buyable from any mart even after I finished the Delta Episode. Is there anything I can do about that? Thanks!

Dang, thats really sad. Seems the retron had one job and it failed at it. Thankfully I have an analogue pocket to keep this from happening in the future. I wonder how I got that srm then. I assumed i had just converted it from one of the .sav. The good news I didn't loose the pokemon because they are transfered up to gen4/5/home. I had just really wanted to keep my childhood game in tact also. Thank you for looking into it, ill keep looking to see if I had ever backed it up before and dont remember.

Files 1-3 are not valid save files; they're entirely zero besides 2 bytes at the start. Nothing in them.

@chnapy Still loving the app and the updates, I see you added something to mark a save to tie it to version, are you able to save the change so it now longer appears in the save selection screen? I have it appear for Pokemon Box R&S but not the rest of Gen 3, are you able to add Box to the list that pops up? Thanks for continuing to develop this, excited to see where you take it

Hey! I am trying to recover my childhood sapphire save. I was trying to back it up on my retron5, thought I did, turns out the saves aren't working. This was a couple years ago so I don't remember the details but would like to get them back. I tried the gen3 recover app and it didn't seem to do anything. I have attached several saves here. 1 is the oldest which is the one I would ideally like restored. The others were "saved" after trading/transferring some pokemon and somehow I have one srm that I'm not sure how I got but it seems to be missing quite alot. Thank you so much for any advice or help. Even if you guys can just point me in the correct direction that would be great. The file sizes, or at least 1 and 3 do seem correct I do know the retron messes with those and I have tried converting them with no luck, I honestly don't remember if they are already converted or not, have been trying to figure that out to help recover them. I think there's something up with the download. It keeps giving me the Version 3 of it, not 3.0.3. Is there anything wrong? It'd mean a lot.

A legal one does not exist, as Zygarde currently cannot be transferred out of GO. also unclear if they plan for it to ever be possible.

Turns out the checksum algorithm wasn't documented, and my rewrite removed the "fake" updating of checksum to hide the issue. PBR doesn't care that the checksum is wrong, lol I'll have to think about it...

They display properly when I view individual mons and also when I look at my team in the "Battle Passes" menu, but for some reason the only thing that shows up in the "Box" and "Party" menus are red boxes. This file has not been edited or modified in any way, and was taken straight from my Wii. This issue also does not occur with save files from any other game I've looked at. The pictures I've posted show the same exact pbr save file loaded in 3 different versions of PKHex. As you can see, the sprites only show up in PKHex version March 20, 2026.

Do we have a list of what battles take place in what PokeCenter & on what day? I'm going off the list from Bulbapedia & they haven't spawned in Jubilife, Oreburgh, Floroma or Eterna & I have 2 badges & I've checked each day so far this week.

The bot plays the game for you when the bot runs. If it's performing online interactions that would require NSO, then of course you need NSO and the game, and connect to online servers.

Thanks for replying! I understand that part, but in order for my hacked switch to host the raids do I need the real game and nso?

The "bot" is literally just a program sending commands to your cfw switch. It is not a separate entity.
