Friend Code (Nintendo Switch)

Friend Code (3DS)

NNID (Wii U)

  1. It would be somewhat based around the Team Rocket Challenge (linked below), but with an actual story and stuff. Features would include: -New starters! For example Zorua, Sneasel and Houndour. -No badges. The ranking system would literally be a ranking system, going from Grunt to Scout and all the way to Admin. -A partner in crime! Rather than the usual rival, you'd have a fellow Rocket who'd accasionally join you on missions and such. -Missions! You'd travel around Unova stealing pokémon and robbing places, and generally screw things over for team Plasma. -Story! It would be focused around two things; recapturing Mewtwo, and taking down Team Plasma. -Stealing! You'd be able to steal a trainer's last pokémon, and send it to HQ for rewards. -Gym leaders would appear every now and then, trying to stop you. Now, I know nothing about ROMhacking, or if something like this would even be possible. But, it'd be great. 2. Hey Guys and Gals So I have been having fun editing Pokemon Crystal (may post the link [albeit unfinished] if someone can tell me how to make an ips patch from it), but I have decided to move onto Emerald now. I am going to change each of the gyms and the Elite Four, as well as a lot of the trainers. I will also revamp the overworld (not necessarily a 386 hack but close enough), including changing map themes, changing weather effects and so on and so forth. I am presently looking for ideas for good challenging gyms? For reference, the starters are Numel, Wailmer and Cacnea. The overall aim of the hack is to make the game more challenging whilst also showcasing/upgrading some Pokemon (i.e. making Pinsir Dark/Fighting, Teddiursa/ring Ground/Normal, Pidgeot into pure flying) So far, I have Roxanne's gym changed to an Ice Type gym, and will be looking to change the look of it too. If anyone can give any ideas, that would be great. Part of me is thinking of maybe having the latter gyms specialise in two types but I dunno right now. I also wish to ask if there is a tool available to let me change the typing of a move? Also, is there a tool to change overworld sprites (i.e. may, brendan, mother etc...) Thank you, Robbie
  3. So, while planning the type advantages I felt like I was letting the original typings control me too much so I made everything be x1 in an image file, went around doing what I felt would be good and here is the result: I'm pretty happy with it so it'll probably stay that way ;D -Almost all pokemon have 480 stat total (the sum of base HP, Attack, Defense, Sp.Attack, Sp.Defense and speed that calculates the pokemon's stat) with 2 exceptions: Shedinja has 401 and Slaking (being now the ONLY pokemon with the Truant ability) 600 (480+120 to the HP stat). -Starters are Eevee, Pikachu and Clefairy -Pikachu evolves with the Thunder Stone, Clefairy with the Moon Stone and Eevee evolves into Vaporeon with the Water Stone, Jolteon with the Thunder Stone, Flareon with the Fire Stone, Espeon with the Sun Stone, Umbreon with the Moon Stone, Leafeon with the Leaf Stone and Glaceon with the Shiny Stone. -Normal starters (like Snivy, Charmander, Piplup etc.) all evolve with leaf, fire and water stones instead of levels. -Various moves have been modified and TM49 is now Tri-Attack instead of Echoed Voice. -Politoed and Poliwrath are now 4th evolution since Tympole is now a prevolution of Poliwag. Tympole evolves into Palpitoad if taught sandstorm via TM and leveling up. -Zubat evolves into Woobat after using a Dawn Stone (Zubats are now found in the world instead of Woobats) -Kirlia evolves at level 30 into Gallade if male and into Gardevoir if female. (Kirlia's 2nd ability trace becomes pure power for Gallade and Serene Grace for Gardevoir) -Legendary Pokemon can now breed and are legendary because they've got extra given EVs (All pokemon have 3 given EVs and legendaries have 6) which makes them easier to make powerful. (easier to get them there but they're not better, a Rattata is just as powerful as anything now ;D Even though it's strong stat is speed.. Oh well..) -Trade evolution pokemon usually evolve either via level, level with held item and in the specific cases of Karrablast and Shelmet: Karrablast evolves when holding a protector and Shelmet when holding a shed shell. And those are some of the changes; I'll make a full list of changes to Pokemon and moves in a PDF or something soon, no story changes have been made yet and I'm currently testing but if you want to try it out: https://mega.co.nz/#!4wlylKqR!LgmmBlpx-jp66EdM1lywZD9UWnwv83msGTRPIqVAogc Old post below:
  4. k i was wonderin' if anyone can help me with this um Pokemon bw hack k i like saw a bunch of remakes & i was like "i wanna be like them, a HERO OF POKEMON." so i'm doing a 4 game remake in 2 game (Pokemon Green & Pokemon Ruby is the white version hack & Pokemon Yellow & Sapphire never got the remakes so they are the hack of Black version) if you support plz let me know and i like need some people to recruit such as: Backspriters Overworld editors/makers vs sprite makers some 1 to convert it to a ups patch. some1 to hack the text(like the dialog) I can hack the wild pokemon :creep:
  5. Since Distortion world is not located on the map so I think if we could add it into the game just like the Nature Preserve ! Also, I wonder if there is a tool to add a character into the game that would be nice ! If u are interested in, let me know
  6. (This is my first edit of a Pokemon game and my first post in the forum, so if i'm not allowed to post this then please remove it with my complete understanding) POKEMON EVlution (White hack) "Set in the Unova Region, you and your friends have just received an Eevee as your first Pokemon. Your task? To journey through the Unova Region and defeat the eight (technically eleven) Gym Leaders and stop the dastardly Team Plasma and their leader N!" FEATURES: Pokedex The game features a slightly edited original 150 Pokedex, with only a few exceptions, e.g., not enough Ghost-type pokemon for the Ghost-type using Elite 4 member. Eevee This game features Eevee as a universal starter pokemon. It will have an edited moveset and slightly higher stats as you will not be able to evolve until you reach Castelia City to obtain an evolution stone. To correspond with the Grass/Water/Fire theme, you can only evolve it into Leafeon, Vaporeon or Flareon at the start, unless you wish to wait and find the Thunderstone (for Jolteon), Dawn Stone (for Espeon) and Dusk Stone (for Umbreon) later in the game. Of course, because of the ability to chose the final type of your starter, the Rival's teams will be a secret untill you play further into the game. Eeveelutions Because of the risk or not getting a same-type move when you evolve your starter, three TMs will be available up to the Skyarrow Bridge that will correspond to the Eeveelution you chose. They will be Flame Charge, Water Pulse and Grass Knot (unless I can script the TM into Razor Leaf). Gym Leaders Gym Leaders will have alternate teams for slightly added difficulty, but they will keep their types. All I can say about the Gym Leaders is that Cilan, Cress and Chili will use Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander respectively. Pokemon Some Pokemon will have higher stats or a better movesets, e.g, Butterfree, Beedrill and Eevee. Some will also have changes to how they're evolved. You no longer need to trade to evolve Pokemon, and some Pokemon will not evolve with stones, e.g., Nidorino and Nidorina will evolve at lv34 instead of with a Moon Stone. Difficulty The game isn't necessarily designed to be a much difficult version of the original game, it's more designed for an alternate experience to the game. Team The game places emphasis on having a team of Pokemon instead of steaming through with a single Pokemon. This'll be to add more fun to the game, but it's completely up to you how you navigate the game. CURRENT EDITING POINT: Wild Pokemon 100% Trainer Pokemon 100% Movesets 100% Evolving Methods 100% Text 5% TM/HMs 5% POSSIBLE BETA: A Beta will be released as soon as the internet is back on in my home and when a Beta is ready for release. I promise that this will NOT be a hack that just gets a mention and then is forgotten, or is only designed to be played up to the second gym because the creator has quit the project. POSSIBLE BETA RELEASE DATES: End of June/Start of July I shall keep everybody posted when I can!
  7. Hello, people! Today, I introduce a project that I have recently been working on for the past few days. As you can see from the title, yes, I am working on remaking Pokémon black version. Now, as you may think I won't work on it all of the time, and that my project will never shine. However, this will not happen, for I am going to be active as day and some night to get this project finished. It's not only a success, but it is my dream to remake a game of Pokémon. Now, enough of my story, here's what I plan on doing. I am of course going to remake all Pokémon finds, which means that new pokemon will be in the same areas as before, and so on. Next, I want to change some Pokémon's abilities. So this means that Pokémon with bad abilities that never got to shine will have a chance to shine. Furthermore, I want to adjust some of the Pokémon's base stats. For example, some pokemon will be a little bit faster, stronger, etc. Anyways, I plan on changing all of the text, which I know may seem hard, but.. This is why I need some help along this journey. If anyone could contribute to this project, then it would be drastically appreciated. I would like to have some help on the text, and maybe some sprites if possible.. I hope I'm not asking for much.. But overall, I have determination in this hack, and nothing will me otherwise.
  8. Going to try and put as much detail into this as I can. I had an idea of adding a new option to the in-game pause menu(Thinking of the gba type side panel). I was thinking of a new option on that menu that when selected opens up another menu like when you select the "Pokemon" option displaying all of the current Pokemon in your inventory but instead of displaying those normal options like summary etc it asks if you are sure you would like to reset this Pokemons level to 3, followed by the Yes or No option. *Other* Instead of a new option to the pause menu, just adding it onto the Pokemon menu's list of options. *Other2* Instead of it being available in the pause menu, have it as an option on the computer in Pokemon Center's.(It actually would fit right in there I think.) -If considering this option another idea comes to mind to copy/paste similar code to that of exchanging Pokemon(withdraw/deposit) for resetting their levels. I have seriously wanted to train my Pokemon like this for a very long time. Right from scratch. I will be eternally grateful to anyone that can/will do this. Hmm...now that I think of it though, I remember the move tutor, he can teach Pokemon whatever move they could learn couldn't they? Well, still.. This idea v. Move Tutor Also: Outside program v. In-game Of course, all of this is an idea if it at all possible. Thank you for reading.
  9. I was just thinking about something the other day. Pokemon Colloseum introduced the interesting concept of battling exclusively in doubles. Battling this way makes certain pokemon much more useful in battle, such as dedicated walls like Forretress, or Support pokemon like Chancey. But Colloseum is plagued by other problems, such as being overall very short and having a ridiculously slow battle system. That got me to thinking. What if That concept were brought into another game, like Platinum or one of the 5th gen games? That's what I envision a hack of a pokemon game that is comprised of almost exclusively double battles, making pokemon that were previously only useable online useful in the story mode. Of course there are problems. Currently I have found no way to actually change battles that were previously single battles into double battles. Then there is the issue of wild encounters. Can they be made into double battles? Let me know what you guys think, or if you have a solution to the problems above!
  10. Hello all. So I've never done a ROM hack before and I wanted to do something with all the spare time I have recently. It's an extremely simple idea really. I just wondered the other day, how well would the Kanto pokemon get on in Hoenn. If the only pokemon available to the player are from Gen 1, but all the trainers still use the same pokemon as they usually do. The game probably wouldn't feel too different, so I just would like to know whether you guys would think this is worth it? Ryan
  11. POKEMON BLACK DIAMOND Pokemon Black Diamond is a ROM hack of Pokemon Black trying to recreate Pokemon Diamond this is sort of inspired by Hoenn White, I have been wanting to make this ROM hack for a while and it is still in progress. I will continue to update as it moves along. FEATURES -Sinnoh Starters -All Pokémon from the Sinnohdex -Play as the Sinnoh protagonists -Harder Gameplay -Removed Trade Evolutions -Cynthia as champion PROGRESS REPORT Day 1: Male Character successfully reskinned: http://prntscr.com/34gjjx Day 2: Cheren successfully reskinned. http://prntscr.com/34j3jj, Cynthia successfully reskinned, Alder successfully reskinned.
  12. Hello, im making my own pokemon hack called Pokemon Galaxys. I would like some insight please. Ok so the region is the Bermu (BURM- YOU) region. It is based off the bermuda triangle. The Pokemon Professor is named Amelia Lilac, yes she is based off of Amelia Earheart. The story is that Team Nova tryed to use the energy of the legendary pokemon Hipafuse, Naizero, Aekoro, and Ukuro to break throught the space time continum and create their own galaxy/world. But when attempting this the other Ukuro got into the lab in a last attempt to save the others and is forced to absorb the energy and galaxy. The Ukuro's body could not hold it all and was forced to evolve into a pokemon, now called Cosmikuro, to hold the power and energy of the forming galaxy. Its body was so exhasted by this that it was plungged into a deep slummber. That is not the only thing that happened, when the huge power surge that was supposed to create a new galaxy happened it tore the whole region from this world and left it in a way point. Over generations of not being able to exscape the region the story of this occurence became nothing more than a legand. Because of its suclusion this worlds pokemon have evolved differently. So only six of the original pokemon exsist in this region. These pokemon are magikarp and garadose, Stantler, eevee, tropius, and dunsparce. Stantler and dunsparce have evolutions where as tropius has a pre-evolution. If you like the story tell me and ill start posting pics of pokemon people and other information about my hack. Critisism is welcome and opinions asked for. Thanks and sorry for any grammar or spelling errors.:bidoof::wink:
  13. I know most of you guys have moved on to nds roms, but because I find GBA roms and emulators much easier to work with, I plan on hacking a III generation game. I already have a team of three but I need help, a lot. If you can contribute at all
  14. I am making a Pearl/XD PokEmon Game. If you have any ideas of what i should add, please send me a message or reply to this thread. My current list of ideas is: No wild PokEmon Level 10 Eevee as Starter Double Battles Only Eevee uses Items to evolve in any of it's evolutions As soon as I have programs to make them: Shadow PokEmon, Shadow Moves, the possibility to capture Shadow PokEmon, Purification. If you know of any programs I can use to add PokEmon, Moves and Purification and remove that block preventing me from capturing Trainer PokEmon, message or reply please.

  18. FEATURES: *Rated X for eXtremely hard! Because let's face it, Pokemon was made with children in mind so it's made possible for a 6-year old to beat it. These hacks will prove difficult even for adult Pokemon fans. You can beat the real games simply by using your most powerful attacks, but that won't work in Pure White/Pitch Black. You'll have to rely on more advanced strategies like status effects, stat-lowering moves, and switching constantly to keep your team alive. A guide will be given to tell you how to beat the Gym Leaders/Elite 4, but their actual teams won't be revealed because that's for you to find out! *Old Places, New Faces Non-Unova Pokemon will be available to you as soon as you begin your adventure. This gives you more team options to face the upcoming challenges. Of course, you should expect your opponents to use non-Unova Pokemon as well. *Gotta Catch 'Em All! All 649 Pokemon will be available in this game without trading, transferring, or accessing the Dream World. This includes legendary Pokemon as well, although they will be especially tough to find. A list of Pokemon locations will be provided. *The Solution to Evolution Pokemon that used to evolve by trade have new evolution methods so you won't have to trade anymore. A list of new evolution methods will be provided. *Trainer is about to send in..."something"? By default in the real games, you'll always be told what your opponent will send in which gives you a chance to easily counter your opponent's next Pokemon. In these games, the trainer's Pokemon name has been replaced with the word "something" which means you'll never know what your opponent will send in next! *Smugleaf just got Smugger The truth is, starting with a Snivy gives you a disadvantage since this game is especially tough on Grass-types. To make up for this, the Snivy line now evolves much quicker than the other two starters. In addition, it also learns two new moves - Earth Power instead of Wring Out and Dragon Pulse instead of Gastro Acid. If for some reason, you still want Wring Out and Gastro Acid, you can always learn them as a Servine. *Pseudo Tutors The reason a lot of Unova Pokemon don't learn many good moves is because the huge list of tutor moves from 3rd and 4th gens are missing. To slightly make up for this, some Pokemon now learn a "tutor" move by level up. For instance, Unfezant gets Superpower, Lilligant and Vanilluxe get Earth Power, and Klinklang gets Zen Headbutt. *Doctors? More like Murderers! Doctors will always heal your Pokemon to full health...if you can beat them! But they'll always engage in triple or rotation battles and have extremely powerful Pokemon with extremely powerful moves. They may be even tougher than Gym Leaders! Don't expect to win against them the first time. However they are completely optional, just like in the real games. Nurses on the other hand, are very easy to beat and use Audinos, Chanseys, and Blisseys which are great for EXP. *Maybe you'll actually Read this time. Regular trainers in the real games never have anything to say other than a few generic lines. In these games, some trainers here and there will have a bit more interesting dialog. Expect to hear references to pop culture, world events, internet memes, innuendos, and maybe even a few things not appropriate for a Pokemon game! *WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT GETS HARDER?!? Don't expect the challenges to end once you've beaten the main storyline. Besides the rematches against the Elite 4 and your Rivals, there are more difficult battles in store for you. Can you beat the Riches family, who are even tougher than the Elite 4? Or how about clearing Challenger's Cave, where everything is at Level 100 (even the wild Pokemon!). Don't even think about beating Morimoto the first time! *Winners really Win! When the hacks come out, it will come with another challenge for players. Record your victories against the major trainers in the game and you can win actual prizes! I'll give you free shiny Pokemon (legit ones, not ones made by Pokesav), free art requests (because I can draw), and even free online gift cards! I'll post a video up with rules and more details when it is released, so stay tuned! Possible Features: *Music Editing If I finish everything listed above and there's still time left, I'll try to insert a bit of nostalgia by putting in music from Gen 1. Either way, I might hire someone to do it for me. So if you know how to insert and loop music in Black/White, I'll pay you real money for something you already know how to do! *Title Logo Editing Not anything major. Just replacing the real logos with edited logos of the names of these hacks (the images you see at the top of this post). This isn't top priority. Screenshots: Progress: Wild Pokemon Editing: Up to Celestial Tower Major Trainer Editing: Up to Marshal (first battle) Regular Trainer Editing: Up to Route 7 Expected Release Date: Last week of April 2011 Credits: KazoWAR for his Trainer Editor Pedro250 for his Evolution Editor SCV for PPTXT Drayano for telling how to edit Wild Pokemon locations elementking for telling how to edit Pokemon Level-Up moves What I want from you: Think of interesting dialog that you want trainers to say in these games. Make sure it's not related to Pokemon so that it's clearly distinguishable from the unedited dialog. Preferably something funny or something that references another popular game or movie. Keep it clean. There's only ONE trainer in this game that swears and I'd like to keep it that way.
  19. We all remember the Translation work our amazing team did, right? I was wondering if we can take all the english from an English version of the game and load it into the Kanji fileset of a Japanese version (setting up so we can swtich between a Japanese version and an English version on the fly!) I remember this being implimented with the translation patch. I figure it shouldnt be to hard to take the ALREADY translated files from an english game and plug them into a Japanese one where the Kanji tab's script would go. If anyone knows how to do this, or has a patch already, could it be mentioned please? I tend to break games when I open and edit the data Having a setup like this could mean also having a multilang patch for a number of combinations of languages. I think the biggest advantage would be being able to rename pokemon names (and even catching them) in Japanese and switching to the English script for storyline and such.:creep: Biggest disadvantage I see would be the namelength issue. catching pokemon in the english script would give them their perfectly normal english names, however renaming them would impose a character limit. the User's name too. (seeing as my English username is within the limits anyway, this isnt important) (In a simple summary: The japanese version has support for switching between Kana and Kanji scripts. Could we use an English version's files to replace either the Kana or Kanji scripts with english so we can switch between english and japanese anytime like we could in the translation project? (this time however, using the official translation))
  20. Hi I am really bored by Pokemon games difficulties and since i have noone to play with online, i want to pump up the games challenge mode (whose existance actually gave me this idea), makeing alle the gyms and post game encounters and the elite 4 a much of a challenge as I can (becuase lets face it the actual challenge mode is only slightly more of a challenge) So what i need are a few pointers to what tools to use and how to compile a proper patch, and how i might find the adresses of the trainers pokemon stats for the challenge mode key (because i would like to keep the on and off option to make it a bit more professional), doesnt need to be too indepht, im thankful for everything you can give me, so dont mind posting as few as you know, its still better than nothing. Im sure many would like this, but even if not id apreciate the infos. Thanks and greetings, john
  21. Okay, so i have never seen this before nor have i ever seen anyone discuss this anywhere (however i may be wrong...) Basically what i am doing is taking the Hoenn region and adding a way to get there from Kanto. yeah, its not really descriptive, but refer to the video to see what i mean. my final goal is to get gold/silver added in as well, however i am not sure how long it will take to get Hoenn added into Kanto... [video=youtube;ydF24b_P0FE] video of V0.1 V0.2 Video [video=youtube;EdubY4rr610] link to the v0.2 patch is on the video im currently working on a 0.3 but it wont be out for a while until i can get some more things working, and if i can figure out if there is an easy way to import scripts from r/s/e into fr/lg
  22. Hey all. I planned to make a remake of pokémon Diamond but I don't have an cool story line. I made other evolutions methods but I want someone who makes new gym leaders, a cool storyline, someone who know how to script,... It is also possible to have multype people helping me. I just wanna have a cool Diamond. Please help me...
  23. And I have no clue where to start! Let me start off by saying that I am totally new to anything dealing with sprites, scripting, editing, etc.; I have been scanning this site and various others about two days, looking for a good starting point with this and decided to ask the forum itself. Now before I go any further let me tell you what it is I want to do with this project. In a nutshell, recently I have been almost constantly thinking of, constructing and building ideas to what I think would be a really kick-ass Pokemon sequel. I want to take the layout of an already constructed game (been leaning towards either HG/SS or Platinum and can't decide which would fit the storyline best), I want to strip the game apart and change literally everything in it. e.g. implement new characters, plot, maps (while keeping them in the same cities), areas, etc etc. I don't know how possible that would be with the programs that we have out right now, which is where you come in. I need a stepping stone to get this idea underway. Any advice, tutorials, beginners manuals, anything would be incredibly appreciated. Also a big sorry in advance if this thread is in the wrong forum. I would be happy to re-post somewhere else if that's the case
  24. I have been editing attacks using prc_bw. My goal is to make various 'useless' attacks that generally are not beginning moves (like tackle) have improved power, accuracy, additional affects, etc. I have recorded my changes thus far here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvoKYffiN3-zdG42aWpKTjBLdUUxY29GdXZPLXRFSVE&hl=en_US Any constructive comments would be appreciated. I am especially concerned about making moves too powerful. A few notes: - A multi hit move with an additional effect-I think each hit has a separate chance to work, I still have not tested this. - A move that hits multiple opponents will have a separate chance to work per opponent hit (tested) - If I try to give separate probabilities to different stat boosts, like giving flame charge a 10% chance to boost attack as well, then all boosts are triggered as soon as one is, so it doesn't pan out. If people want a patch for this, let me know and I will try and post one. If no one likes the edits, I will wait until they are better to release it.
  25. The main purpose here is to improve all pokémon who need it, through the Editing of moves, abilities and typing combinations by doing minor changes on each pokémon. This will upgrade the usage and battling potential of those pokemon proportionally. Already good pokemon will also be improved (in a non-broken way of course) by giving them new roles or perfecting their skills with things they still lacked. These changes will ensure a whole new and more balanced metagame while at the same time making it more unpredictable and diverse. Another plus is the fact of a dramatical size reduction in tiers. This thread will be use to discuss the fixes i already did for many pokemon so far and to point out any mistakes ive made, or things i might have overlooked when it comes down to making them fair playable and of course to contribute with new ideas (as im runing out of them) for pokemon who still need to be fixed. Another important purpose of this project is to serve as an standard metagame for any Modified Roms who chooses to use it, which will save up time so you can center more in other rom editing areas, but also to bring the competitive aspect of the game into modified roms as well. Just a few extra easy rules to follow here; Be Polite. Use logic when suggesting something. Example; A pokemon with no arms shouldnt be able to learn any punching moves or either have an abilitie such as Iron Fist, unless of course it´s pokedex entry info suggests otherwise. If you can also run down calculations in order to be more accurate. You can also use real world logic if you know what the pokemon is based of or if it fits its theme. Example; Kangaskhan=Kangaroo=Well known Puncher= Iron Fist+Elemental Punches. Or Unown=Unpredictable=Moody+Assist+Metronome+Accupressure. Make sure of using spoilers if you are going to place a large list or something alike. If you dont agree with something, be sure to let us know the reasons behind it. One last hopeful thing, if GF staff ever sees this, they may use various pokémon updates from here to fix some of them. They have done it in the past, so why not later? and you can see proof of this in some of the threads/videos i utilized to pick up some ideas in the credits. I´ll add people or any other materials that helped this project to the credits below here. Just in case, i asked here first; http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?17566-Which-it%B4s-the-Right-Place Note: Remember to give credit if ever using this & PM me if the link is broken. Once we are done with what´s left of this i can finally proceed to make my pokémon Ashinyngray Rom.
