The story behind this preservation effort is a pretty amazing one. Before we go on, standard disclaimer: THIS POKEMON WILL NOT BE LEGAL WITH ANY VIRTUAL CONSOLE RELEASE (AND BY EXTENSION, CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO GEN 7 AND ONWARD). However, that doesn't mean we can't enjoy playing these Pokemon in our games. Now, it's time to for a trip down memory lane, fellow players. In 1999 and 2000, @Tripred was able to obtain 14 Official Event Mews, from the US Mall Tours for Pokemon Trading Card Game (1999) and Pokemon Stadium / Pokemon Movie (2000). These are all legitimate Mews from Pokemon Mall events that happened in 1999 for the launch of the Pokemon TCG, and then in 2000 for the Pokemon First Movie and Pokemon Stadium launch. You would insert your Gen1 cartridge into a machine, while promo staff would fill out a paper "Certificate of Authenticity" for your personal Mew. The Trainer names are LUIGE or LINKW. The Trainer ID is generated sequentially from the Mew distribution machine. The first Mew from a machine is 00001, the second 00002, 00003, so on. The LUIGE Mews came from a Pokemon TCG event in 1999, where Tripred made friends with a Nintendo rep named Jeremy Hepworth. He traded these two, numbers 00012 and 00014 to us. The story as Tripred remember it was that the machines were scheduled to go on tour but had technical difficulties. He had snagged these two (and the certificates of authenticity) during some testing runs. The LINKW Mews came from a Summer 2000 Mall Event in Arlington, TX promoting Pokemon Stadium and the 2000 movie. They had four of the machines running simultaneously for a huge line of people. Once the lines died off as Tripred went through the machines and got 12 of them. @suloku wanted to know if Tripred remembered anything about the Mews, like trainer ID or stats. He is documenting as much as he can about all of the different events and their Pokemon. Luckily, what Tripred had for him is much, much better. Back in the late 90's I worked for a KB ToyWorks store. Tripred's weekend duties included playing Pokemon TCG with kids, and promoting Pokemon in all ways. Supported by Wizards of the Coast with tons of materials, it was a blast. During that gig, Tripred ended up buying a save backup cart for his Game Boy, and started cloning these event Mews for the kids. So when Suloko asked, I dug up all my Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow carts and the save backup carts, and started pulling the Mews together. I Tripred found six of them on a Blue save, and found another six sitting in Pokemon Stadium 1. And the last two were in a box on Stadium 2. He was able to shuffle all of the Mews to one Stadium Cart, and through much trickery, get them onto a fresh Pokemon Yellow save. Using a Retron 5, copied the save from the Pokemon Yellow cart onto my SD card. (Tripred will post a youtube video with instructions on backing up cart saves using Retron 5 as a follow up, really neat way to preserve your retro saves) Now Tripred gifts these Mews to Suloku, and to all of you. Tripred hopes these Mews provide useful information, thank you for reading, and please let me know what kind of information or data you pull from the save! Big thanks to tripred and suloku! Back in the end of year 1999, Toys "R" Us in the United States and Canada ran a lucky draw campaign, via a peel sticker, that gave players a 1/5 chance of getting the Mew. The first 1,500 winners (per country) that went for the redemption will be able to receive Mew on their copy of Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow. Around the same time frame, magazine Nintendo Power also did a giveaway to the first 1,000 applicants. Various other information regarding this can be found here. This event was distributed to players at the New York Pokemon Center: Gotta catch 'em all! Station, and the collection for various PCNY Pokemon ran across the period of November 22, 2001 to March 13, 2003. The schedule of Pokemon changes weekly, and players was restricted to collecting one Pokemon per week per visit. This Celebi has a 1% chance of being shiny, and the dates for distribution was: December 21 to 27, 2001, June 29 to July 4, 2002, October 11 to 17, 2002, November 22 to 28, 2002, March 7 to 13, 2003. A more comprehensive schedule list can be seen here. DUE TO HAVING AN EVENT LOCATION, THIS POKEMON WILL NOT BE LEGAL ON ANY VIRTUAL CONSOLE RELEASE. Original Thread and Credits to Gold Ursaring!:

The Wishing Star Jirachi (Negaiboshi Jirachi) was distributed to players in Japan, with a couple of different distribution periods across the years. The original distribution was to promote M06: Jirachi: Wish Maker, and subsequent distributions were for Pokémon Festa 2003, the 18th World Hobby Fair, and also for the participants in lucky draw for the September 2003 issue of CoroCoro.

Hello readers! Here is another file by me for rom hacking. It is a hybrid Parody of the Windows 8 Internet Explorer logo and the GBA e-Reader logo. As both things died out with a bad reputation, and are significantly different from this, I did no wrong. I also used a Public Domain Wikipedia version of Internet Explorer's Metro Logo, which I modded in GNU Inkscape with 2 simple polygons, (a circle and rectangle,) so as to resemble both logos as an allusion to the Mobile System GB, which had webmail ability. I feel that this makes a perfect joke, and I colored it to black to avoid robots falsely flagging it as copyrighted, when I made it using PD resources to resemble abandoned tech, therefore resulting in no legal trouble. It is in SVG vector format at 256x256, so it will need to be rasterized and recolored to blue to work in a hack before resizing. It cannot go as small as the original, but it is still able to go down to 32 or 64x instead of 16x. It also works at 1bpp, so use as you wish. I offer it as Public Domain under Creative Commons CC-0 PD Dedication. Use it for making distro cards, custom pokedex cards, DS homebrew for Lites with E-readers, and Gamecube Homebrew with anything you want on the cards. This will disclaim it from a real card due to its shape.

Introduction Hello all! I've started this, as I've been getting quite a bit of Citra save requests rather frequently. Also, big thanks to @Ammako for coming up with this idea, as a way to deal with the horde of requests. How to use Start off by selecting the set you want. Each set will come with 4 folders, with choices of No Starter (not chosen yet), Chespin, Fennekin or Froakie. Use the images below on how to differentiate between Sets. Once a set is chosen, edit your Trainer's Name and Trainer's Nickname as you please. In Pokemon XY, your rivals give you a nickname. Here is where it's found here in PKHeX: I'll recommend changing your Trainer ID and Secret ID as well, and maybe give a nickname to the starter. This way, the game will feel personal to you. (if you do so, do remember to change the starter OT, TID and SID to yours) Closing Notes I've included a couple of bonus save files, which are stripped-down save post-game saves, varying from Set 1 to Set 6 (and then 2 extras). (It originated as a request, after one user lost their save file, and simply wants to experience post-game). On a separate note, I've previously been told that Citra tends to hang on choosing Kalos Starter and first battle with Shauna, so to counter that, the game saves that is provided with a starter already chosen, begins after Shauna's embarrassing loss. To proceed with the story, bring the Prof's Letter to your Mom, and your journey truly begins.. Update: For those with freezes after collecting the Town Map, I've made another save (Chespin chosen, but all 3 Starters are in that save) that has the Town Map collected.
Just had to review. Couldnt be more thankful for this program the only down side that im aware of is not being a legal checker for all generation pokemon unless there is a program already out there for it, as some moves are previous generation pokemon so sometimes when I make them there might be another move that its not meant to have as its really tedious to search up every detail, but I won't complain here as nonetheless this program is a huge shortcut itself and allows me to do what I need and recieve the pokemon I can't obtain since black and white I got rid of all my pokemon games so at the moment only have everything X&Y and onwards. Keep doing what you're doing best. also is there no way to have all wondercard pokemon already inserted in pkhex thats available here HG&SS and onwards you have my support and I'm sure everyone else that doesn't know where the origin of pkhex is from
  7. Don't confuse region and language. Remember, you can start the game in any language. The ENG, FRE, GER, ITA, SPA, KOR, JPN, CHS, CHT that one can see in the Summary screen are language tags, that appear when a Pokemon is in a game save of a different language, independent from 3DS region. Region is something you normally see in the system settings of your 3DS. Example: The U means you own a US 3DS. The E at the end means you own a EU 3DS. The J means you're using a JP 3DS. Only a 3DS of this region can receive this Tapu Koko legitimately. So once again, going back to your original example: <this table doesn't cover all possibilites, but remember only JP 3DS is legal>

In the Special Demo, the Pokemon is encountered in a battle, with it's stats, nature, ability, and gender, fully randomized, as per any battle, with the exception of it's Species, Level, and that it cannot be Shiny, being preset. After capture, it can be nicknamed, and then can it be sent as a gift to the full versions of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The language of the event is determined by the language of game save of the Special Demo Version, so it's possible to receive a Pokemon with different Language of Origin from the save of the full versions of the game. It is to note that only non-Japanese 3DS will be able to receive this Glalie, as mentioned at the top of this description. Even when not nicknamed in the Special Demo, this Pokemon will have it's Nickname Flag checked, as long as the name it currently has is different from the default name of the species of the receiving game save's language. The Trainer ID is randomly generated and assigned when starting the Special Demo, and the Original Trainer will be Orlando ENG, FRE, GER, ITA, SPA or オメガ JPN or 오메가 KOR. ^ OT name languages refers to language of Special Demo, not Full versions.
