    I agree. I hate waiting 6 hours just to find a... Silcoon/Cascoon >.> Sleeping Spearows/Ekans were a nuisance, but finding the occasional Heracross was fun.

    It'll most likely be replaced with a move tutor or whatnot. The elemental punches were a HUGE factor in Gen II... I wonder if they'll be available somehow early in the game... Speaking of honey trees... that's how Gen II's headbutt trees were originally planned to be. But they scrapped that idea and used Headbutt instead... hmm...

    . . . TM to HM conversions don't work that way. The only thing possible really are new items. Changing existing items will only screw the game up :-/

    There are ROM editing tools. I forgot, but there is one that can modify a Pokemon's moveset. Unfortunately, you cannot add more fields and it will screw up if you try to do it in Platinum.

    Shinies are hard to come across, what do you expect? The chance of getting a shiny is like 1/8000ish... Remember, absence of evidence != evidence of absence. Besides, there'd be no reason to create a shiny Dialga/Palkia sprite then, don't you think?

    Impossible? Now why would you think it's impossible? Anything can be shiny actually... even legends that are standing right in front of you. The Pokemon's PID keeps randomizing, so I don't see how shinies can be impossible. My friend got a shiny Giratina from Platinum... >.>

    Attention everyone: PLEASE USE SPOILERS!! [noparse] [/noparse] And specify whether you want it on Wifi/AR Code/pkm file, etc. Please read the FIRST POST of this thread before requesting. Thank you. Also, I can only do AR Codes atm. I COULD trade requests, but seeing how I don't have a DS and my little brother owns it and he uses it all the time, I cannot >.>

    Not really. A shiny Pokemon doesn't have to be hatched. Some people are lucky to encounter a shiny legendary. You can technically keep restarting for desired effects and eventually a shiny legend can appear.

    Yeah, now that you mention it... it's a big possibility. I'm hoping they redo the dungeons too because honestly, Johto caves were lame (except Whirl Islands and Mt. Mortar). Perhaps Whirlpool won't be an HM at all... whirlpool was NOT required to pass the game aside from that single Whirlpool in Dragon's Den... and even then, that Whirlpool was quite redundant :-/
