Pokemon Crystal bred Pokemon location data
Ruby Genseki replied to Dunsparce's topic in Pokémon Legality
Met level should be set to 1 and that's it, legal "hatched" Mon regardless of location (as long as it's a legitimately posible one, of course) and time of the day. -
Gen 3: Suicune unaffected by Roamer's glitch
Ruby Genseki replied to Toffoletto's topic in Pokémon Legality
Right, forgot to mention the illegality reason, but it's the typical Encounter/PID mismatch Here: G3 roamers are supposed to use method 1, AFAIK. -
Gen 3: Suicune unaffected by Roamer's glitch
Ruby Genseki replied to Toffoletto's topic in Pokémon Legality
Seems like it's an error by PKHeX. As far as RNG Reporter shows, there are 2 possible IV combinations for that PID via method 1 and PKHeX accepts the second one as legal (taking the glitch into consideration, of course). Either that, or there's some "prevent all 0" flag I don't know about, preventing it from being obtainable. -
Legendary Year 2018 Pokemon Distribution
Ruby Genseki replied to theSLAYER's topic in Event Pokémon News
In past gens, it was not uncommon for event Mons to have "00000" as their SID, and although I hadn't seen this happen on gen 7, look at this: The TID alone is actually 2/2/18, the event's starting date, so the lack of SID might be intentional. Either that, or they're planning to change both SID and TID in order to get a combo resulting in "020218" again. -

Here: Palkia (Sun) Dialga (Moon) Palkia (US) Dialga (UM) Please note that, even though the WCs look final, there might still be some change between these ones and the actual final thing. -
Well, of course, but that's not why I'm disappointed. Some of us were expecting these event Mons to have moves that we couldn't teach'em in-game, such as...Idk, do you know about the TRU Arceus? that one from gen 4 with the Creation Trio's signature moves? These were event-exclusive moves, no other Arceus can legitimately have'em. But the legendaries being given away this years don't have anything special -- they're no different from the ones we could catch in-game, except for being in Cherish Balls and having a fancy ribbon.

I need an Ultra moon save
Ruby Genseki replied to Devsterman12's topic in Saves - Files and Requests
Maybe it's something related to how your device handles the files when downloading/editing? Trythis rar file and tell me what happens, should weigh 435KB when extracted (it's your own save)- 42 replies

Of course, I do intent to dump Dusk Mane Necrozma as well as Mewtwo (and the other bosses' legendaries for that matter), and I should be able to get both versions' variants too (as I did this time with the Rattatas I missed back in UM)
-
So they get nothing special in the end. SM ones get the movesets they have when encountered in the wild in USUM, whereas the USUM ones have Draco Meteor instead of their sigs, just in case you wanna have it but are too lazy to increase a Lv. 100 Mon's friendship in order to teach it yourself. Kinda underwhelming, if you ask me. Even Celebrate would have done to an extent, as it is somewhat useful when used as a Z move.
-
But they wouldn't list Celebrate as an "awesome" move, right? ...Right? ...Okay, better not to get my hopes too high.
-
Just hope "awesome moves" means some event-exclusive thing and not just their signature + 3 (good) moves we could teach them in-game.

Legendary Year 2018 Pokemon Distribution
Ruby Genseki replied to theSLAYER's topic in Event Pokémon News
Back then I saw it more like some sort of coincidente. G6 was 3 years old so it was not a big surprise for it to end that year. G7, on the other hand, will become just 2 years old this year. No generation has lasted less than 3 years as of this date, so...that's why I'm so doubtful about this. -
Legendary Year 2018 Pokemon Distribution
Ruby Genseki replied to theSLAYER's topic in Event Pokémon News
Well, at least for me, that's true. Everything else is catchable within the games, not to mention the VC Johto legends with HA (while the event ones will surely have Pressure). And I was thinking this could mean we're not getting G8 announcement this year. To me, this seems like a bunch of filler events to make G7 last longer. -

So we're finally getting Shinygarde now. Not that I like it that much but I like to collect these things. When are we gonna get more mythicals tho? There are several shiny ones missing. -
Ok, since I like doing side quests and all that stuff, it's gonna take some time for me to reach farther points of the story, so I'm uploading what I have for now, regarding the ones that I originally missed from the first and second trials: 1st Trial: 019-01 - Rattata - 9894ED4A2BE9 (Wild 1).pk7 019-01 - Rattata - 41F7FBB9C9D6 (Wild 2).pk7 020-01 - Raticate - CC01FDBA5153 (Wild).pk7 734 - Yungoos - 0A758472F501 (Wild 1).pk7 734 - Yungoos - 89E32855D28A (Wild 2).pk7 735 - Gumshoos - D644CCDE822D (Wild).pk7 735-01 - Gumshoos - B3D334C29C3F (Totem).pk7 734 - Yungoos - 31BC765B20AA (Totem's Ally).pk7 I must point out that both wild Rattata/Yungoos (recpectively) are technically identical. I dumped'em as separate Mons just for the sake of completion. Also, by checking abilities and movesets, Raticate and his underlings seem to be easier than their Yungoos/Gumshoos counterparts (even more than I thought by the typing itself). 2nd Trial: 751 - Dewpider - 070F273AD427 (Wild 1).pk7 746 - Wishiwashi - 4D7FA35CE0C8 (Wild 1).pk7 751 - Dewpider - 4686C2074333 (Wild 2).pk7 746 - Wishiwashi - EC28AF5AC2EE (Wild 2).pk7 Again, both Dewpider and both Wishiwashi are identical, but as I previously said, completion Also... Got some more uncatchable Mons in addition to these ones: 019-01 - Rattata - 0B7D85921069.pk7 - First wild encounter in UM, when half the grass path after getting starter has been walked; nature apparently set to Mild, and ability set to Gluttony; just like ambush encounters, seems to ignore repels (though no repels are legitimately obtainable at that point). 734 - Yungoos - C0CC88DE70E7.pk7 - Same as the Rattata above, but exclusive to US and ability set to Stakeout (still ability 1). 021 - Spearow - 1529ECFC1BF4.pk7 - Fought in Plank Bridge before saving Nebby. Has a "special" moveset: regular Lv. 4 Spearow should have Peck, Growl and Leer; this one doesn't have Growl and has got Pursuit instead of Peck, most likely to prevent it from wiping out Rowlet (which not only has type disadvantage but both attacking moves it should have at that point are physical, and therefore hindered by Growl). Note: The UM-exclusive Rattata and Raticate that I missed before were now dumped by loading my US save from UM at the required points

Legendary Year 2018 Pokemon Distribution

Was expecting the same thing, and from what theSLAYER posted above, seems to be the case, just as they did it with the recent shiny Groudon and Kyogre event. -
Legendary Year 2018 Pokemon Distribution

If it is real, neat, Dialga and Palkia need some love, they've barely been given in events (what do we have? the shiny ones from gen V and the ones from the 18th movie?). But at least to me, them being Lv. 100 is kinda underwhelming. Guess it's to save the IVs SR'ing (hence the gold cap), but still, anything obtained at a level higher than 70 is unable to get the Footprint Ribbon and that bothers me for some reason ._. besides, I like low level legendaries better, I find it funny to have some time-controlling deity at level 5 (and that's why I'm really fond of the Sinjoh Ruins and Dream Radar ones) -
Click inside the "Latest (not OT) handler" gray-outlined rectangle (but outside the black-outlined one containing the name), it should become green inside just like the "Trainer Information" one currently is and check again. If the problem persists, inject it into your party or a box in your save file. If still nothing, upload it so someone can check it for you (maybe myself depending on when you do it).
-
As long as they've got different ID numbers, you should be able to receive more than one WC from the same event. And that is the case for the ones you asked about: What prevents a save file from receiving more than just one Ashachu is the fact that all of their WCs have got the same ID number: Which means, if you've received, say, Hoenn cap, and then you try to get Sinnoh cap, the game won't let you due to the servers "knowing" the WC N° 0627 has already been received on your save, but since that's not the case for the ones above, all you should care about are the WCs you're using being compatible with your game's region.

I'm curious about why would they need an "unlock all locations" option instead of just naturally reaching them. I know this doesn't concern me, but if you unlock all the flying locations for them you could mess up their saves, depending on how far they've gotten. You know who these children's parents are most likely gonna blame if that happens, right? PS: I'm no PKHeX dev, either
-
Gee, didn't dump any of the bosses' legendaries ._. can do it in US but I can't assure I'm gonna be able to get the UM ones without having to play the whole game again (and since Gio's Mewtwo is either Mega X or Mega Y depending on the version..well...) Also, got these ones in case no one's uploaded'em yet: 793 - Nihilego - CB8C3365B8CB.pk7 (uncatchable one encountered in Aether) 800-02 - Necrozma - 24F6AFDCABE4.pk7 (Dawn Wings) 800-03 - Necrozma - D1E34DEC133C.pk7 (Ultra)
