  7. A few small things like prankster on banette and updating some move sets. I'm also taking some shadow Pokemon off citadark isle. It currently houses 43% of shadow Pokemon but this will be reduced to 33%. I'm also increasing the base happiness of Shadow Pokemon. it's 0 right now but that makes them take forever to evolve. The movesets for a lot of trainers will be improved too. A lot were really quick so I could release the game asap but now I can go back and polish them off.
  8. Yeah information on Colo/XD is so bad it's actually funny. I'll have to double check some time to confirm though. I'll use a save editor or something to look at the happiness values and see if they change after a scent but I'm almost certain they don't help.
  9. Actually, I just had a look and I'm pretty sure the scents don't affect happiness! It seems this has just been a myth that has been around for years . Try proteins and other medicines instead.
  10. A few others have mentioned similar woes. I realised all the shadow Pokemon start at 0 happiness. I've increased this in the next update which will be released when I manage to leave Pokemon Go for long enough ?
  11. Just a slight correction to that. The ability (as well as gender and nature) is determined when you first see the shadow pokemon. So if you see it but knock it out, the ability will be the same any other time you encounter it. If you reset before you've seen the shadow pokemon for the first time, the ability could change. The only exception to this is Zangoose. It is only set the first time you fight it yourself, i.e. the third time you see it. It only has one ability but the gender and nature can be different between different battles against it. It is indeed based on happiness
  12. The one you catch will have a 50% chance of having each one. The one's on trainers will be chosen by me to match the team composition.

  14. Yeah that makes sense. I'm working on some tools but had to take a break because my health was suffering. I'm slowly working on them but I don't have much experience with this kind of stuff. I'm kind of learning as I go along. If you have a Mac and some programming experience I could give a brief tutorial on the code I currently hack with. If you have a Mac and an iPad then I could teach you how to get my hack tools on your iPad. Otherwise you'll have to wait a little longer unfortunately I don't think there is. Most electric types should learn thunder at some point although usually at high levels.
  15. I haven't heard of that happening to anyone else but it would have to be an emulator problem. Maybe one of the settings is weird?
  16. Glad you like it but it's actually always shiny now like the oras event! Interestingly, in colo/xd shiny metagross' cross is white instead of gold.
  17. I was basing the TM locations on a list I found on serebii but like with a lot of info on Colo/XD it seems it was slightly wrong so I'll need to confirm it later on. with pixilate it is.
  18. That's really interesting. I'll see how easy it is to reproduce and the exact conditions. I wonder if it also happens when loading previous states after changing to an updated version of XG.
  19. Awesome! Good to know that there's an actual solution because I've heard of this problem happening a few times now.
  20. It says they wanted ti try copying the save to another memory card. There's actually an AR code i saw online somewhere that lets you copy the save file. Using that you could try and maybe that's the solution. Less likely but you could try deleting the old save data from the memory card, loading the save state and trying to save.

  22. All of them?! Wow, that's impressive dude. I'm currently taking a break because my health has been suffering from overworking myself with XG. I actually ended up in hospital . Remind me in a couple of days though and I'll create as many patches as you want. Oh, I made this patch for KaiOtter as per the request above. It's been downloaded multiple times so I don't know if that means you've already played it too but if not then you here you go: Pokemon+Colosseum+Randomised+for+KaiOtter.ups
  23. Use one of these: Randomised pokemon patches. They'll be level 40 evolutions though.

  25. I've heard of that happening to someone else as well but not sure of the cause. Maybe an emulator glitch. You can use state saves instead? Maybe you can try deleting the save data from the memory card and then try saving again?
