  1. Unknown GBA Type are usually either hacked GBA Pokémon or Hatched.
  2. The HeartGold and SoulSilver on Metalkid's calculator is pointless. The thing is, HeartGold SoulSilver use the same Avatar generation as Platinum. So, to use Metalkid's calculator effectively, just set the game to Platinum, and input your HGSS ID. It'll tell you the proper set of Avatars. If you want a specific Avatar, just keep resetting the game, get the ID, plug it into the calculator, and if it has the set that you want, continue that save. If not, repeat until success.
  3. There is a list. It's on the first page.
  4. This is the wrong thread/section. Go read the Guide to 44h, 45h, 46h, 47h, and 85h Values, it will tell you how to do it. @Sabresite: Do you know how the PIDs for Pokéwalker Pokémon are generated?
  5. I have a slight question. Is it possible to delete the trainer data saved into the Trainer House from the Pokéwalker? I want to rid of the trainer data that I linked up with...
  6. Seems so complicated. We still require the NDS Adaptor, no?
  7. So Chase is working on a way to dump/restore saves? Sweet, can't wait for this.
  8. Hmm, would it be possible to find a way to manipulate which Pokémon you see in each category when you send a Pokémon in? I've been trying to catch something in Category A, but I keep seeing the wrong one.
  9. Yes, I'm saying that. That IS how HGSS Pokémon information is read.
  10. Which Pokesav are you using.
  11. You.... became a Drifloon? A shiny one at that? Legality Checker shouldn't have that problem. Maybe you need to generate a proper PID or something.
  12. Uh... People could just trade it over to their DPPt games just to see the SID. If they want to know their SIDs, they are usually people who already have access to Pokesav and such.
  13. Pokesav for HGSS does NOT require an update at all. That's done through the hex values. The game doesn't read the place specifically from the location anymore. When it reads 3002 FarAwayPlace, it will look at the hex values for location. Here's the guide: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?218-~Guide-to-44h-45h-46h-47h-and-85h-Values~ Btw, the proper way to say it is HGSS.
  14. March 25~26?! That's such a long time. :< Grovyle91, do the AR codes generated by the MGE work flawlessly? I read somewhere on this thread that the AR codes were bugged or something.
  15. The codes for the Japanese and English games are mostly different. The difference, however, is usually a single line.
  16. Well, since there is no free method of dumping/restoring a HGSS sav, one of the few ways is to trade one from DPPt to HGSS. You can make the Pokémon in DPPt, and then transfer it to HGSS. It is possible to make the Pokémon look like it came from any game. You just gotta know how to use Pokesav effectively, including working out all the tidbits such as the 44h~86h values and such. OR, you can just go the H@X0R5 way and just make random hacked Pokémon. (In which I do not recommend, because it destroys the point of Pokémon.)
  17. Try using AppLocale. It treats Pokesav as for another language, in which it will also recognize symbols.
  18. You mean the AR code isn't working. The Pokesav may have the wrong code output because it was just translated, and the coding for the code generator hasn't been changed from (J) to (U).
  19. Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet. I ran a Pokéwalker caught Pokémon into the legality checker, and it came out as hacked. Does that mean Pokéwalker caught Pokémon have unique PIDs or something?
  20. I walk get about 5000~7000 steps a day, and ranging around 400~500 Watts. To fully unlock the Watt-required courses, you need a total of 100,000 Watts. So, after about 200 days, I can finally unlock that final Watt-required course. Btw, I walk around with two Pokéwalkers. That's right, TWO. Nothing wrong with walking around with a cool lil' gadget.
  21. It's mainly used by some distributed event Pokémon or in-game specific Pokémon (which is only Shaymin, so far, I think.) You generally don't need it.
  22. Uhh doesn't matter what you do. Just hatch it, THEN modify it to be legit. Follow the guide on the values, and you're all good. Or you could just activate the event...
  23. Is it possible to get it at a store? I'm unable to buy things online Btw, does the adapter allow restoring the sav as well?
  24. I think nothing is going to work Until the ultimate hero appears and solves this problem in one fell swoop. Could anyone explain to me why Rudolph doesn't/won't ever update anymore?
