  1. You're best bet is to convert it back to gen 4 (at least the PID/IVs), and verify in legality checker.
  2. I never realized that the rng was so severely broken. I suppose we could add IV legality checking into Gen 1, but not sure if anyone would care.
  3. I am curious to know whether people believe acquiring an event mew in VC1, then using ACE bugs to change its DVs so it will be shiny when pokebanked, should considered legal.
  4. Slayer, we should be able to get this file directly from the server, correct?
  5. Looks like the TID/SID makes 219160206. So they literally smashed the WCID and date to make the G7TID before pruning. Of course this is different from other events. It would have been expected to be 29134 and 2, following previous events.
  6. So they screwed up the G7TID. It was supposed to be 170206, and instead they made it 160206? Sigh.
  7. So far only NZ can be scraped, and only if we have the right arguments. I think the data is buried in the 3ds/game though.
  8. @SciresM Has scraped the servers and received the WC. We will add it to the event gallery.
  9. RoC, which checks do you need? Everything is out there, just need to make it convenient (like built into PKHex or Porybox)
  10. You may need the one localized to your area, for example US is this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48130
  11. I got confused cause he said Gen VI... I didn't read the pic which is clearly Gen IV. Sigh.
  12. You can't pokebank items. We were talking strictly gen 4/5.
  13. It has been so long, I guess I forgot. Thank you for that correction @HaxAras. In that case, the item should be set appropriately. I put the determination in another thread based on what @Bond697 determined.
  14. @ajxpk Regarding the berries, you can't palpark with items. So I personally would remove the held item from any event poke because otherwise it looks staged? What do you think?
  15. Pokegen does not ALWAYS make good PID/IV combinations for gen 3. The algorithm for a fully legit pid/iv combination requires backtracking due to something called nature confirmation.
  16. For the sake of argument, lets say I wanted to go fully legit. Could I wipe my savegame and be ok? Or would that count as changed data too?
  17. WCID 000? Does it alter it to make sure you can receive it? (Change WCID to something not used???)
  18. Major issue with the mail was that it only survived until you xferred the poke out of your party. So the chance of someone dumping their save game in 2007 when hacking was still new before xferring the poke out of their party is basically zero.
  19. Yeah there is a check for the OT and flag used in the event.
  20. According to @SciresM, GameFreak screwed up and they checked shininess against the wrong DV. The check goes like this: ATK == 10 && SPC == 10 && SPD == 10 && DEF & 2 == 2
  21. Copy your saved game so you don't lose anything and find out. I won't believe for a second (without good source & preferably video proof) that they would allow a mew to be shiny.
  22. I am curious to know about TID/SID conversion from Gen 1 to Gen 7. Is there any info on this? Also regarding the gameboy mark, does PKHex support this? I haven't heard about that before.
  23. Ohhh thank you, sorry I didn't realize it was surf/fly pikachu too.
  24. @HaxAras, we have been trying to figure out if Surf/Fly Pikachu move was random based on one of the rands used for generation. Since you have 2 of each, can you send me those and some that did not have fly/surf (if you have them).
  25. I don't know much about the script capabilities for gen 3 WCs, so please correct me if this doesn't make sense. @suloku regarding the script capabilities and bulbapedia claiming the eggs could not be shiny, is there a way to add in a shiny check to the script itself? For example, loop and generate a new PID if it would be shiny?
