I am curious to know whether people believe acquiring an event mew in VC1, then using ACE bugs to change its DVs so it will be shiny when pokebanked, should considered legal.
Looks like the TID/SID makes 219160206. So they literally smashed the WCID and date to make the G7TID before pruning. Of course this is different from other events. It would have been expected to be 29134 and 2, following previous events.
It has been so long, I guess I forgot. Thank you for that correction @HaxAras.
In that case, the item should be set appropriately. I put the determination in another thread based on what @Bond697 determined.
@ajxpk Regarding the berries, you can't palpark with items. So I personally would remove the held item from any event poke because otherwise it looks staged? What do you think?
Pokegen does not ALWAYS make good PID/IV combinations for gen 3. The algorithm for a fully legit pid/iv combination requires backtracking due to something called nature confirmation.
Major issue with the mail was that it only survived until you xferred the poke out of your party. So the chance of someone dumping their save game in 2007 when hacking was still new before xferring the poke out of their party is basically zero.
According to @SciresM, GameFreak screwed up and they checked shininess against the wrong DV. The check goes like this:
ATK == 10 && SPC == 10 && SPD == 10 && DEF & 2 == 2
Copy your saved game so you don't lose anything and find out. I won't believe for a second (without good source & preferably video proof) that they would allow a mew to be shiny.
I am curious to know about TID/SID conversion from Gen 1 to Gen 7. Is there any info on this? Also regarding the gameboy mark, does PKHex support this? I haven't heard about that before.
@HaxAras, we have been trying to figure out if Surf/Fly Pikachu move was random based on one of the rands used for generation. Since you have 2 of each, can you send me those and some that did not have fly/surf (if you have them).
