    I'll upload my level 35 Medicham and level 35 DPP in game trade Haunter-Gengar (Again, technically under-leveled since I traded an under-leveled Medichaim for them) later. But I'm going to bow out of this project. Some of these Pokemon are just work to get and I have other projects I'm more committed to. Good luck guys.     I'm also just watching the thread and lurking at the moment. I'd be able to trade you, dump it and trade back if you want. I'm still interested in this project. But i'm waiting to see if more people join in and contribute because it feels like a second job after a while. There's also another under-leveled Seaking in the RSE Safari Zone I think. I think it's level 23. Not as low as the FR/LG one but you could argue it's still worth getting for the different region met location. Like the LV.15 FR/LG Gyarados I found vs. the level 1 from B2W2. Edit: RSE has a 20% super rod encounter for a level 5 - who cares Gyarados. The RSE Safari Zone has a 20% super rod encounter for a level 25 - to nobody cares Seaking. In ORAS, it can be level 30.     I took a Japanese save, wrote it to an English cart and scanned in the Eon ticket. Then I wrote it back to a Japanese cart. The results were.... interesting. But if the data is hardcoded into the game, shouldn't the text have been Japanese? Does that mean the English data is stored elsewhere from the Japanese?

    Probably not or it would be incredible unlikely. You could always use the coin case exploit to make any Pokemon shiny in gen 2.

    I think the only convo I had about it was in RoC's thread. Apparently (mentioned above) it was somebody from Pokemon Sunday who went to I don't know where and was trading Pokemon with kids from different nations. I think the other person said he was trying to trade with people around the age of 13. It's been over a year so don't quote me on any of this.

Could that mean there was an un-announced event and the only one we have is a hacked re-creation of it or would it be more likely that the original was a hack to begin with since it was apparently possible back then? Saw the article that Sabresite linked. "This is probably the biggest hoax since NYC Mew." Anybody know what that's all about?

    That's what makes them interesting to me. They're a strange bit of Pokemon history. There's tons of blog posts and articles and news stories about them. I have thousands and thousands of Pokemon. So I'm only really interested in the unique stuff. That's why I enjoy this thread so much.

    Scary and hilarious! I found several lists online. Some of the moves are listed as being obtainable in later gens. It's such a nightmare to find a list of gen 1 VC transfer move Pokemon. I was looking at the Larvitar family and it was a headache looking at all the event exclusive moves, dream world moves, transfer moves and previous evolution moves. Only to find out half could be learned in later games.

    Teleport is a TM obtained just east of Cerulean and all kinds of non-Psychic Pokemon can learn it. https://github.com/ckohnke/PkmNewMoves/blob/master/output.txt If I'm not mistaken, all the Spanish names are different. But a German Mantine's name is Mantax. It would still be an amusing novelty to me to mess around with.

    Then using trading, that means you could get a bunch of interesting stuff. Like a French Onix with a German name that knows Teleport! (Yeah, you could just nickname it but that's not nearly convoluted enough to be entertaining to me.)

    Mind sending that to me sometime? I'd love to have it in case it's legit. I'm 100% finished with the story mode in Pokemon Colosseum (German). I'm just waiting for my GBA - GCN cable to arrive from my friend. (He shipped it out today). Change of plans! Mattle Ho-oh: I'm going to be making a save state before the final 10 battles. Converting the save file to every language so people can do the 10 battles and get their own Mattle Ho-oh. Duking's Plusle: I'm going to re-play up to the point where you get this and obtain it in every language using a save state. (Unless I have an early enough save from my German run.) Un-released Pokemon: Colosseum Pika/Agate Celebi: I'll be obtaining these after I get Ho-oh. Hopefully I have enough Pokecoupons. Since nobody wants to or is able to convert the Action Replay codes, I'll be using my German Colosseum save-states to get multiples and just change the nicknames/language. I'll have to figure out what AGATE and COLOS are in the other languages though to change the OT. E-reader mons: I'm going to battle the E-reader trainers 1 final time. I'm going to save at the PC next to them before each battle. I'm going to copy my German save to every language and make save states for all languages. The OT will be PPorg and the ID numbers will be all 0's. Just use the Colo/XD: save editor to input your own OT/ID/SID and catch them in your desired language. Everybody will be able to get personalized E-reader mons in any language. I'll be sharing them with @jojo12100, @Deoxyz and maybe a couple others first. Then turning them over to @theSLAYER to upload to the event gallery. Where I believe all but Japan will be in the un-released section.

    If the gen 1 games are language locked and gen 2 games, any languages besides Japanese can work. What happens if you were to trade a German Magicarp from gen 2 to a French gen 1? Would Pokebank be able to tell it's language apart if you migrate it? Would it's name be treated as a nickname like in gen 3 or would it evolve with a french nickname like in gen 4? I used to trade my English Pokemon to a Japanese Soul Silver to give them Japanese nicknames when they'd evolve. But they'd be wiped when going through bank. If a German Magicarp is given a French name as a Gyarados, would bank wipe it too? (I can't test these at the moment as I don't have any gen 1-2 carts outside of my English Silver. I'd love to know the answers to these though.)

    I prefer to do things without injecting when and where possible as well. I'm glad it exists but I'm not a fan of actually using it. I can scan in my E-reader cards into an English and Japanese save if you need to compare them.

    Is there a confirmed event!? I haven't heard anything about that! Also! Thanks to a generous trade from @theSLAYER, I used my Silver save to convert a Korean Gastly into a Celebi using the coin case exploit. So when he is able to trade it back to his Korean save, we will have made both regular and shiny Korean gen 2 Celebi with Korean names. The first 2 of their kind.

    Do you own Korean Pokemon carts? Cause I've been trying to find them and it's damn impossible! There's a difference between "legit" and "legal" as well though, right? Could it be said that an egg could be injected and it would be "legal" but not entirely legit?

    What is your interest in it? Just as a novelty or are you trying to catch the Lati@s on your save? Cause you could import a Japanese save to an English rom, scan the cart and then send it back. I can't actually remember which events were released for each language in gen 3. As for making an actual E-reader card to scan into a Japanese game. I would have no idea where to begin. I know people have looked into or talked about making fakes and repro E-reader cards. But I never read up on it much as I'd rather have the real thing for my collection.

    Doesn't gen 3 have un-used overworld sprites for a bunch of legendaries. Including the beasts? If I remember correctly that might have been FR/LG but don't the games have a lot of leftover data from the games that came before? You could probably edit the eon duo to have one roaming and one static. One on the island, maybe the one weak to your starter and the strong one roaming?

    Why do they have extreme speed listed as a move? Extremespeed is a Pokemon Box egg move. They should know tackle, growl and tail whip. How many were there total? I think I was once told somewhere around 420. I could generate more. But filling up that save was a miserable 20+ hour project and I wanted to kill myself the entire time. But I promised a full save. I also spent hours trying to get a complete set of debug Unown. I filled 3-4 boxes just trying to get the last one. So trying to get all the variants of this Zigzagoon will probably never happen but I can try to get more. Anybody happen to have a clone of one of my Japanese Ruby saves with the E-reader Regi dolls scanned in? The gen 4 Lucario doll is on the event gallery I think. Maybe those could have a place somewhere? Edit: nevermind. I went back and read the previous posts and saw that there were only 145 spreads. Did I really manage to get every single spread in the 420 I generated? That seems incredibly unlikely. Or somebody else had some of the spreads already? As for the Extremespeed Zigzagoon. The only luck I've ever had was using the Colosseum/XD: save editor's wonderful "Generate shiny ID" feature and then changing a gen 3 save to have that ID and hatching the egg on that save.

    How does that work? Does it happen once every 90 days or is it a 1 in 90 chance of it being the daily Pokemon? I never looked into the Great Marsh much and I have no idea what you meant about save editing before.

    Challenge accepted. Use a Korean Pokemon, trade it over to an English Silver and do the coin case glitch to replace the Pokemon with Celebi. Then trade it back to the Korean game and since the Korean game will be the OT, you can nickname it! I don't have the Korean carts (yet) or the ROM's even. But I fully intend to do this sometime.

    I decided to wait until I get my 3DS with CFW back because trading Pokemon to my R4 using a DS with a broken top screen is a royal pain in the ass. My main projects will be finishing gen 3 and starting on gen 5. I can catch Pokemon exclusive to Silver, all gen 3 games, Diamond, Platinum, Heart Gold and Soul Silver, Black and White and Y. Those are the ones I currently have complete saves in. I also refuse to do any more like Magcargo and Tentacruel. It took so long to get those 2. I spent over 8 hours fishing one day only to move onto 5-6 hours of busting rocks.
