You need to get Qt for mac. http://qt.nokia.com/downloads I recommend getting the whole SDK. qmake generates the makefiles based on what compiler qt is configured to use. I deleted them because everyone should have qmake generate them.

Well what I was saying was suggestion/support/etc. Were picking the mascot based on the results of the poll and everyone can vote how they please and everyone is free to give their opinion as to how people should decide to vote. Yes I think Suicune is awesome and has been one of my favorite pokemon since gen2 (the others being lugia and houndoom) but after seen the reasoning that you guys gave I changed the way I wanted to vote. If we were going to place rules on how to decide to vote there would be no point in having the poll (as wraith said). Was is also the last part that Wraith said or the general message?

Wraith, my post wasn't a 'change your vote cause I say so', it was to try to convince. Of course, not everyone is going to be convinced and that's fine. The point is to see IF we should pick the mascot based on reasoning or other things. But reasoning can't win if we don't give it. Should I change the tone in my post? EDIT: Actually, I said at the beginning that it was putting some support for voting for Deoxys. Not an order. Support = reasons which you might or not agree with and you might or not listen to and you might or not act upon.

With the new twist in this process I would like to put in some support for voting or changing your vote to Deoxys. As Guested and Codemonkey argued, Deoxys represents, better than the other options the spirit of Project Pokémon. Suicune does not really have anything to offer as far as symbolism, neither does Dragonite. Representation of the first gen, choosing someone who is underrated or what avatar an admin uses, should have nothing to do with the mascot. We should pick whoever represents our ideals and goals the best. That is, to cover the details (DNA) of how things work in the game as well as make available many or all Forms of Pokémon information. Deoxys would be a very flexible mascot in that we can use the different forms to represent different areas of the community. Or different topics that we cover. For these reasons, I encourage everyone to change their vote to Deoxys. NOTE: This is not intended to set rules on how everyone should vote, this is my opinion and an explination as to why I changed my vote.

I missed this before. You know me too well. Actually, if Suicune is chosen I might just change my avatar to be Lugia. The stuff about Dragonite representing old times seems correct and everyone should remember (realize) that Project Pokémon has very different goals than pokesav.org had. The Deoxys justifications are good.

Pokesav is fast because it does not care about PID/IV relations. Once you throw that out you can make yours fast as well.

you are using the overworld sprite for a back sprite? Are you sure? Those sprites have some encryption that I am not sure is programmed into Crystal Tile.

I wonder how long it will be until they start telling us some specifics about the new games? e.g., DS compatible? What are some of those unprecedented experiences.

Codemonkey, we can't forbid discussion here. But as Pory said, we should not have the discussion in two places. What I can do is have a thread created when a news article is approved and show the forum comments on the site.

The news bot was a poor-man's solution to not using a CMS that already allowed comments to news posts. Now that we do support them, we turned off that News Bot feature. Is there a particular reason, the discussion can't take place on the site? Hopefully not, that the site has no mobile theme.

Nice iniciative. I would recommend/like, if you assisted us with PPRE though. If you assist us, we'll need you to learn python but we can help. If we help you with this we'll be putting in the time needed to finish the evo/data/etc editors in PRPE. let me know what you think. If possible come by irc and go in #pp-research.
