  1. Was the first round message for FLY fixed in v3? In v2 it said "<name>'s anger started to rise" or something like that, when it should be "<name> flew up high!"
  2. I don't know how well it would work with a homebrew app, since it seems like B/W sends over the download play binary then immediately tries to connect to it. Admittedly I haven't looked at it a lot, but I suspect the download would have to be skipped if a homebrew app were to be able to spoof the real binary.
  3. I figured someone would find a method like this, including the firmware flashing part. It's too bad there's probably no way to falsify what the downloaded binary sends back with another flashcart.
  4. I'm using the latest patch (~2 hours ago) and I've found one thing so far where the Romaji's translation is obvious - "Ribatichiketto" is "Liberty Ticket". It's the item that allows you to take the boat to the island (from the item description, the location name looks like "Liberty Garden") and get Victini. For the description, this seems close to me: "A ticket to go to Liberty Garden. The ferry is in Hiun City." Edit: Also, "Raibukyasutaa" is "Livecaster". It's the gadget that lets you talk to the Professor and your rivals. No guess on the description. Edit: At game startup, "Are you sure you want to disable the C-Gear?" has an bad line break - I don't know what the code is, but it's displaying "/xfff". (Whoops, that's apparently a known issue. My bad.)
  5. Definitely strange. Another weird bug I'm getting in the 3.0 betas is that the character map doesn't work until I manually check and uncheck "disable character map". The Pokesav-exported Mewtwo I posted earlier opens and shows the OT fine in 2.312, but blank in all the 3.0 betas I've tried. I don't know what could be causing it.
  6. It was from the "I don't know what you did to accomplish this". I don't know what (if anything) I did either. The character map isn't coming up for me in 3.0b4 either. Edit: Still getting blank OTs in b6.
  7. But it's not something I'm doing intentionally; If I could get it to not happen, I would love to. I didn't do anything fancy with my trainer names. Even the pkm files I get from pkmdb open with blank OT names in Pokegen. Edit: I just tried 2.312 and I'm not getting blank OTs. Weird. Ok, here's an example - the zip I've linked below contains two PKMs of the same Mewtwo, originally from Fire Red (I think), one exported from the save (from my party in Soul Silver) with Pokesav HG/SS, the other exported and saved as a 236 byte party pkm with Pokegen 3.0b4. Even the pkm from Pokesav shows up with a completely blank OT when I load it into Pokegen. (The OT name should be Robin.) http://www.mediafire.com/?hf2ujwqyr820j26
  9. Whenever I load a Pokemon into the tabs in PokeGen 3.0b4 (either from a save or from an individual pkm file) the OT name is blanked. Is there any way to fix this?
