Sorry... Long day... charizard_ranger, you'll need to purchase something to add it to your game with. An Action Replay would be enough for this and depending on where you live, you can pick it up at your local gaming/department store for about $20. Or you could look online for one or a device that lets you edit your save file directly. -

You can use a GTS hack like pokegts.us or pokecheck.org to send it to your game that way. All you need is the pkm file. -

But it's still technically legal (although if you really analyze the numbers it might not be). However, this isn't a bug. -
dst=save state (memory) dsv=save file (cartridge's save chip) If you load the dsv you should have little problem.

Trash bytes are just the game's shortcut to making as few writes as possible. They can be analyzed to determine if something's hacked, but that only applies online.

Open the dsv save files in the battery folder. That's way more stable than editing save states.

He seems a little paranoid, that's all. Maybe he had something go wrong before? One time my CF card on an outdated flashcart was corrupted (I now know because of DS Organize) and I lost my saves, so I was sure to always keep a backup. Now I'm kind of lax about that.

What change did you make, and for what game (sky or time/darkness)? As for your feature suggestion, I can start researching that Wednesday. Pokemon ID is inconsistent while Nickname isn't so I'm probably overlooking something. Maybe those stats will be easier.

That's not necessary, but it doesn't hurt. It would be cheaper to put it on a hard drive or flash drive though.

The worst thing that can happen is maybe your device is dented or something and scratches the casing of the cartridge. That's unlikely, and if that happens you can avoid damage if you're careful.

It's safe for the internal data. In the event there's save corruption, restoring the backup will work.

They could possibly tell on the cartridge, but the warranty on cartridges only lasts 3 months, because there's not a lot that goes wrong with cartridges during manufacturing, given Nintendo's strict quality control.</p></p></p></p></p></p>
