  1. If it's really gonna be on the end of February, them I guess it MIGHT come out at my birthday xD But yeah, I wouldn't use that for online trading/battling. I got scammed of my FireRed Zapdos and LeafGreen Moltres for a HACKED shiny Gyarados and Skarmory (caught in Safari Balls...from Unova...same OT/person, because of the lack of seeing Pokemon stats in Gen VI before the trade), though I got the two legendary birds back from the Sea Spirit's Den xD I was pretty mad for getting hacked Pokes in exchange for LEGIT ones that took me a hard time to catch, especially the ones in X/Y at the Sea Spirit's Den...

EDIT - If the shinies were both HACKED, then how on Earth did they managed to wind up on Pokemon Bank!??

Perhaps location was right, but ball check wasn't done.

Anyway, on GTS, you can see the "Pentagon" in front of the name. that might help.

  2. PokemonXY Official Site has revealed #719: Diancie.

    Diancie-Pokemon-X-and-Y.jpg

As per the trailer, the moves seen used are:

Explosion, Hyper Beam, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind and Power Gem.

    Ability: Clear Body.

More details will come as they're confirmed.

    Link to video:

(PS: The shiny image has since been taken down by Nintendo, but a saved copy is still on display here)

  3. After basic troubleshooting, I'll say it's definitely Datel's issue.

    EDIT:

Anyway, do you mind sharing your Pokemon Y save?

It'll be good to see the data of the save, as I don't have a 3DS PowerSaves.

(might help with wondercards or save editing?)

    Only if you're willing :)

I read on gbaTEMP the save is stored here:

The files are stored under C:\Users\????\Powersaves3DS, where ???? is your Windows username.

  4. So if I don't care about making a pokemon look like I caught it, and that I just got it in a trade, can I leave the ID spots blank?

If the pokemon is not hatched or event,

the "Location" and "ID" is still important.

example: "It is apparently encountered at route 10"

The TID and SID is still required. (of the other trainer)

Hope I answered your enquiry correctly

  5. If I were to get the NDS Backup Adapter Plus, I'll be able to copy the save files of my 4th and 5th gen games

I myself don't have that adapter; I'm using R4i dongle.

From what I read, your data will be copied.

I also see that you apparently can't copy a save file onto a different cartridge?

    Not true.

Going by that statement, I won't be able to restore my saves from emulators onto my carts.

Given it's the same version, (or even same paired version), it will work.

The only issue you might encounter, is GEN IV you cannot cross KOR and other language save

(Let's say I messed around, went into battle between the two games, and sent out the same Empoleon. Would this risk causing either or both of the games to glitch up or anything?)

No, the game doesn't work like that.

Does using any of these adapters risk messing the games up at all? Restoring a save file will let the game work exactly how it should in every way?

If you backed up a save that is corrupted, or corrupted a save, then you decided to restore it,

You need to start over (because now the save on the cart is corrupted)

The ROM for the game, and the save are stored at two different physical location (hardware), so nothing is affected.

My biggest concern is having my games randomly corrupt one day and losing the handful of pokemon I desperately want to keep.

besides backing up saves, you can also use our Pokecheck.org

Anyhow, not to be rude, that was one heck of a long post.

Next time, consider summarizing and listing it in point form.

It'll be easier to reply :)

    EDIT:

BTW, I hope you release that you posted in the wrong thread; this place is for 3DS carts.

We have a thread dedicated for NDS carts here.

  6. Look, you all... Let's be sincere...

I managed to make it work with my Y copy of this game but strangely not with my X. Now there's a question that won't shut up: Is the fact the 3ds powersaves device supposed to work only with certain game carts or not them all? I saw that now it's compatible but only managed to cheat on my Y... Toughts?

Edit: This is what i get every try of connecting my X cartridge on Powersaves 3DS. Note that My Y version still works. Any Thoughts?

In any case, are you using Windows 8?

If you are, you might want to consider trying these settings

    (right-click > Properties > Compatibility tab):

<If Possible, select "Change settings for all users">

    Compatibility Mode

[✓] Run this program in compatibility mode for:

    [Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)]

    Privilege Level

[✓]Run this program as an administrator

Even though it's a different program, these settings managed to fix my usage of R4i dongle.

  7. I have a question guys, since Pokecheck hacked the game already and they are now waiting to figure out how to upload the Pokémon files to the fake GTS, and Pika Edit has the Pokémon X/Y editor. It will be easier to edit the save?

    http://pikaedit.wordpress.com/

I'm quite sure the Pikaedit for Gen 6 presently is a pkx editor, not save editor.

As of now, editing .pkx is useless if you don't know how to re-insert. (which methods not available to public, and we won't know when).

Honestly, rather than .pkx editing, I'm more interesting in getting "Wonder cards sharing" up and running ><

  8. I believe Serebii didn't state that accurately.

They only show what is the version exclusives missing.

Let me give you a (not so) rough estimate.

    Hoenn Regional Dex =

    1. You receive 1x Johto Starter upon completing Hoenn Regional Dex (choose wisely, or simply cheat)

    2. Access to Deoxys, Ho-oh, Lugia, remainder Lati@s and Mew

  9. For Dream World Pokemon unreleased, such as Contrary Serperior, they CAN and WILL go through (provided the right flags are checked, is legal, etc...), but are unable to be used in online battles, even in Free Battles. However, Shadow Tag Chandelure will not pass, apparently (as its Hidden Ability has changed from Shadow Tag to Infiltrator). For some reason, Wide Guard Swampert will not work online either (though it is perfectly legal).

By default, they won't go through unless modification is done.

    (let's not talk about that)

The Chandelure occurrence is mind-boggling, I'm gonna try it later.

Also, theSLAYER, I would think wrong location constitutes as a hack. Blatantly AR'd Pokemon would not go through. Even Gen IV Pokemon would have this (Possible J/K encounter does not match) kind of error if you ARd for a Pokemon and such.

I was surprised that wrong location got flagged, because previously they allowed Lv.1 Gengar to get through,

    which hinted at bad checks.

Glad to see improvements in their system xD.

Guested, I'm gonna pin your message onto my first post okay :)

EDIT: I just realized you already added it into my first post LOL.

The Azelf thing was out of curiosity. False positives is the focus here :D

  10. I didn't have problems at all. Any event Pokémon I collected perfectly went through and everything else also.

My event Arceus (plural) got through fine.

Anyway, apparently they might have implemented location checks.

I've tested two exact Azelf, with the only difference being one caught at Route 23 another caught at Route 22,

and Route 22 Azelf got blocked.

I'm probably should do this test for non-legendaries, for a conclusive answer.

I figured what's wrong with my Milotic.

When I attempted to load it into Pokecheck, it says something that roughly means "Wrong Generation Format".

I probably inserted a Gen IV format Milotic onto my W2 save. I'm surprised that it is readable in my save at the first place...

  11. It's weird that your Milotic didn't go through, I get 2 exact same shiny japanesse dittos in 31 on all of their IVs and it was all fine.

I'm not sure what's the reason, because a different Shiny Milotic (also event) got through.

I need to check to be sure..

  12. Important note from Guested:

I'd like to remind everyone that intentionally putting hacked Pokemon through Transporter is against the TOS of Pokemon Bank. It could get you banned from that service and discussion on how to circumvent it is not allowed here.

I originally thought the purpose of this thread would be to report false positives getting blocked from being Transported, but it seems everyone is discussing why their hacked pkm were not able to get through. Any further discussion of that sort will result in this thread being shut down.

    ----

    Stuff that doesn't pass through.

    1. Shiny Locked Pokemon: Celebi, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta.
    2. Pokemon Met in Wrong Location, or Hacked Moveset, or Hacked Balls, or unreleased Hidden Abilities.
    3. Gen IV in-game obtained Pokemon with "HA Byte" (as this is not possible to begin with)
    4. Some Gen III Pal Parked Pokemon. (Mainly corrupted OT Strings or Trash bytes in OT string)1
    5. ORAS Cosplay Pikachu
    6. VC Gen I Glitch Pokemon
    7. VC Gen I Pokemon with invalid moveset
    8. VC Gen I Mew (Those with non-event TID and OT)

Focus here is on FALSE POSITIVES, not how to circumvent Bank Checks :)

    Note 1

Corrupted Names, OTs and/or Trash byte strings will prevent an in-game obtained legit from passing through.

Fix Name and OT Trash bytes and it will pass through.

    More details: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?36893-Pokebank-Banned-Pokemon&p=181790&viewfull=1#post181790

(remember, this is not meant to circumvent checks)

Things that are not stopped as of 1.2:

Pokemon not nicknamed but bears another name, wrong name, etc. (Pokebank gives it it's correct name upon completed import)

Pokemon in wrong balls (eg: Gen IV Eevee in Love Ball, Gen V Eevee in Love Ball etc.)

Gen V w/ it's normal ability AND HA Byte. (Pokemon is given HA upon completed import)

Things previously not stopped but now known to be fixed in 1.2 onwards:

Poke-transferred Pokemon marked as obtained in XY will show Pentagon, even though it's transferred.

  13. How to transfer these pokemon in the game?

And... how to extract a pokemon from the game?

back before patch 1.2, when Instacheck can be used, it can be extracted from "viewing trades".

(Simple explanation: Trade data then was not encrypted)

As of now, there is no way to insert it.

Pokecheck May be working on something, but there's no way we'll know for sure.

Save hacking is nonexistent as of present, and as of now, no way of knowing how.

  14. Pokemon: Garchomp

    garchomp-2.gif

    Dates: 24th Jan - 31st March 2014

    Game Distribution: X & Y

Distribution Type: Serial Code (requires game purchase)

Distribution Location: Comic's Connections in Singapore

    Sources: http://www.maxsoftonline.com/events.html

    6oer1z.png

    2mpe83a.png

Given that no other information is given, and basing off Singapore's events history,

it's most likely (imo) going to be the same one as Japan's Coro Coro Garchomp.

I'm sad that I won't get it, cause I'm not going to buy another copy again.

    Cheers people!

PS: Thanks Localhorst for bringing this to my attention. :)
