  1. @Jmscheuer I believe CTRtool changed it's structure between when I posted the tutorial and now. Maybe give this bat a try. Same instructions as the tutorial but try this bat instead. Let me know how it goes. extract exefs 05-02-23 test.bat
  2. "Nintendo Wi-Fi connection service for this software has been discontinued" Literally the network service that the NDS runs on for network related stuff is dead. Read the replies before your post.
  3. Yeah there were times I randomly had issues with packhacks a while back, and I have no idea why. As much as it is a great combination of tools, don't use packhacks for this tutorial. Only grab CTRtool from the link I've provided. Only dump your game files from your 3DS and grab exeFS from there (I'm under the impression you're trying that with packhacks, else why would you need it?). Also, make sure you decompress the bin before searching for the values Because the game uses the code.bin to do stuff. and LayeredFS forces the code.bin you placed to load first. So let's say the game has v1.4 game files, and other v1.4 instructions to run, but you force it to run a v1.0 code.bin, naturally stuff is only going to partially loaded incorrectly, the game won't have all resources loaded correctly, and won't be able to function. Thus crash. Pretty much why I specified if you have a game update, gotta use the game update's code.bin.. I experienced the crash firsthand myself, had to guess why it was even happening ><
  4. I think it’ll be best if you go to every page (I mean for 3DS/Switch models, there’s probably one per Gen), then right click > save page as. I used to have a zip somewhere, but I don’t know where it is and don’t have the time to zip em all up right now Edit: I mean check out the pages here. Wherever you decide to use them, make sure to credit everyone. I have the image credits below “thanks” here.
  5. Learns Earthquake and Stone Edge via TR. You're probably missing TR flags. (hint: the Relearn Flags button) Next up, Invalid Encounter PID mismatch. You probably made the stunfisk from scratch, or modified some of its PIDs/IVs etc. Most Gen 8 encounters have correlated stats. You can't just edit them willy-nilly.
  6. Since you’re asking a bunch of CFW questions, it may be better for you to ask a server more dedicated to Switch hacking. it sounds like your Sysnand and Emunand is temporarily linked. It shares the content on the SD card. Try running CFW Sysnand with a different SD card, with a fresh atmosphere install. Maybe the stuff won’t link over. (also I don’t use Hekate often, so I can’t comment on the boot option. I fusee-primary straight into CFW Sysnand.)
  7. @Masterdragon1990 please just add a new version to your existing uploads (of the same content), as opposed to creating new ones again and again.
  8. As long as you don’t have pirated stuff, impossible themes, or anything else ban worthy, and never installed/done any of those on the Switch before. Also, make sure between the times you’ve gone online, this instance isn’t considered a ‘downgrade’ from the last instance. (Some amount of stuff is only legitimately supposed to increase, not decrease). I’ve been using my CFW Switch on Sysnand online for years. No issues. Of course all at your own risk tho.
  9. Basically ROM hack to change all the associated sprites. Then when it’s time for Platinum, switch back to the original ROM
  10. Experienced developers who got basic functionality working. To my understanding, what they need is a bunch of data from the cache to restore other functionality. There’s only so much one can do without the necessary data.

This Greninja is from an event raid held by Scarlet and Violet. Notably, with this event you get a chance to encounter Tera raids featuring a level 100 (Shiny locked) Greninja with the Poison Tera type. This event runs from January 27 to January 29, and from February 10 to February 12, 2023. If you're looking to import this file and fight the raid for yourself, link here.
  12. On January 14th, 2014, the dreams of Pokémon Trainers all over the world were lost. This was the day that Generation V's 'Dream World' was shut down for good. For those unfamiliar, the Dream World was a section of the Pokémon Global Link website players could connect to using their copies of Pokémon Black & White and Pokémon Black 2 & White 2. Players could tuck their Pokémon into bed via the C-Gear, and then have them partipate in flash minigames to earn 'Dream Points'. Dream Points could also be obtained by participating in berry growing, or making friends by visiting another players customizable house. However, the Dream World was most notable for the distribution of several exclusive hidden abilities, as well as Legendary and Mythical Pokemon, such as Arceus - all of which were housed in a special 'Dream Ball'. It was, in essence - an extension of the Generation V games. And this is where the history lesson would normally end... However, a developer by the name of shutterbug2000 is taking it upon himself to restore the Dream World back to its former glory. shutterbug is no stranger to these kind of projects, having played an important role in the creation of Kaeru WFC - a 'hackless' solution to playing DS and DSi games online again via Wiimmfi; an alternative service to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (WFC) post-shutdown. As well as some important contributions to the 'Pretendo Network', a recreation of several game servers for the 3DS and Wii U. But there's a slight snag -- He needs your help! The Dream World was made up of several Adobe flash files that it used primarily for graphical assets; while many of these have been recovered, there are still several missing! If you have an old PC or laptop you've ever played the Dream World on, or maybe even an old Hard Drive, please use the following guide to lend a hand: https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/datahub/Recovering_Files_from_Browser_Cache#Flashpoint_Cache_Exporter Simply run the Flashpoint Cache Exporter on the computer you played on and upload your cache to help find missing files! If you're unsure whether the program has found any missing files, the Dream World files, check to see if you have any files from cdn.pokemon-gl.com (not a direct link). Join our site's Discord server (https://discord.gg/66PzPgD) and head to the #dream-world-revival channel and we can discuss further relating to what needs to be done Together, we can visit the Island of Dreams again. 13. It must have the value. For stuff caught in SV, it is astronomically unlikely to have the value as 0 legitimately
  14. No. I don’t think that GO -> HOME transfers used those values? Do some transfers and double check
  15. Also keep in mind that as these didn’t get assigned a value HOME tracker from the server (tracker purely used by the service), the Pokémon may not retain proper stats when transferred to other games. (as of speaking, it seems unlikely SV will allow down-transfers to Gen 8, but we can’t be 100% sure of anything. Even then, it could affect future transfers itself, same Gen or otherwise)
  16. Not necessarily; we don't know for sure how HOME intends to transfer some/all values. Would tera-type be assigned based on PID or randomly? Will height/weight/scale still be null or actually populated? We may have some ideas, but until support is out, we won't know for sure.
  17. Thanks. As long as HOME isn't updated for SV support, any Pokémon with their origin game status pegged to older games should be flagged as illegal.
  18. I meant upload the PK9. But if this is true, these should be flagged illegal @Kaphotics

These Eevee are from a raid event held by Scarlet and Violet. With this event, you get a chance to encounter Tera raids featuring Eevee with various Tera types. This event ran from November 25 to November 27, 2022. If you're looking to import this file and fight the raid for yourself, read this page.
  20. gave you upload an example of such an old transfer 'being legal'?
  21. Abilities aren’t a thing players can see in Legend Arceus (besides Slow Start), and there isn’t an ability patch available, so I imagine all encounters are non-HA. thus don’t make any of them HA. Also, the Mon you’ve shown cannot be transferred out to SWSH, so an ability patch can’t be used on them in SWSH.
  22. In general the move is possible, but some flags, such as story flags, may have been incorrectly set. Probably only do this in post-game
