  1. sadly dont have much to brag about my collection is mainly pidgeys
  2. nor am i!
  3. ban rimfire because that signature is practically illegible
  4. Seems like trainer customization could be pretty cool if they do it well I'm really hoping for some new legendary mechanics. i'm gonna be pissed if i have to run around looking on the location to find some retarded fleeing guy I'm also hoping that the new team will have some sort of non world domination via catching legendaries plan, but honestly that seems unlikely
  5. Froakie looks like a total badass
  6. looks pretty good to me having trouble seeing the right arm, though
  7. Introduction to Generation V Now that I've been back in the scene a bit, I've seen many large differences between the game I left, and the game I've returned to. I've also noticed, rather sadly, that a lot of the old members have drifted away. Therefore, I decided to start this ‘project,’ if you will. It would essentially be a guide, detailing the main differences, new features, etc. that came with Black and White. Furthermore, we would incorporate whatever current activity we have now in the forums, such as the Know your Pokemon thread, as well as information in general pertaining to battling. This would serve 3 main roles: 1) Assist new members with an introduction to competitive battling in general 2) Create a community project to both generate and focus activity in the battling section 3) Allow for old members to rejoin the scene far more easily than I did. Finally, if this were to be successful, it could mean we actually have a Project Pokemon battling community redevelop over the upcoming summer, which I’m sure everyone would appreciate. So for now, it's up to you: Should we go ahead with this?
  8. Ancient thread. If the op requests, I'll unlock
  9. This is surprisingly helpful. Good work
  10. That was my initial thought process, but I realized if I buffed the speed strongly, it would just be too squishy- or too strong, depending on how high the speed ended up. Then again, compared to Gen5 guys, I could probably give it dragon dance and base 110 speed and it'd be fine
  11. Absol: A long time favorite of mine, Absol is a failure now. Shes pretty awesome because she rewards good decision making very heavily- you can sweep almost any teamm with good prediction, but shes 100% useless the minute you screw up But fixing her is ezpz: move her base defense stats from 65/60/60 to 85/80/80 and add a secondry typing of either ghost or steel to allow ez switchins and less punishing set up.
  12. Honestly, if you're not going to bother ev training and such, you're basically flipping a coin. Either you should go all the way and learn the game, or just play casually. It's a big waste of time and energy to go halfway.
  13. some older pokemon got some crazy buffs, too. speed boost blaziken and choice ditto are pretty insane
  14. wraith is basically right. However, when talking about natures, it's better not not bother with this kind of stuff for now. Because natures always give you 10%, it's silly to use a bold nature on blissy for that extra like 5-10 defense rather than a calm nature for like 50 spdef, unless it saves you in a very specific case. And by the time you're building teams to be safe from those cases, you'll know what you're doing.
  15. I feel like you're somewhat weak to Excadrill. Also, you don't have another way to deal with Conkeldurr. How does your lead fair against Deoxys-S? Don't you essentially let him set up at least 2 layers? Also, a little more analysis would help, as well as maybe your mindset? look at other RMTs and then look at yours. Also, the Fling Acrobatics Gliscor set is a bad staller, compared to dedicated stalling sets. I'll do a full on rate after you fix this up a bit.
