  2. People can do whatever they want. They are free to buy carts and sell them, or dump them, and sell the ROMs. The problem I have is with lying. Saying things like, "I can't because I have an agreement," then selling it.

  3. So according to SciresM's tweet: They borked up again. The QR for I Choose You Pikachu was supposed to be EU only, but they accidentally coded it to be for US as well. So we already have a public code for US I Choose You Pikachu, rejoice! (#whynoKoreaLove)

  4. -Not sure if posted on the right forum. Please move if necessary- So, I started a Colosseum game and as soon as I was able to save, I opened the file via PKHeX, only to find out both my Umbreon and Espeon are flagged as illegal when I couldn't possibly have edited them. About Umbreon, the program stated the typical "PID-Encounter mismatch". About Espeon, it's "Encounter conditions-RNG Frame mismatch". If needed, here are the unedited files: 196 - ESPEON - C245B6B1134E.ck3 197 - UMBREON - 0D43FC6BC225.ck3

  5. I don't understand why people make such a big deal about this "stolen property" BS. These items were going to be thrown in the trash over 10 years ago. Nintendo doesn't care. There are countless dev carts and prototype games and development units, etc. that are in the hands of collectors. Why does everybody here seem to take the biggest stance against GBA carts that were liberated from the trash can over 10 years ago? The insanely high prices are good for one thing at least. It's obviously my bias as a collector. But I'd much rather these be in the hands of serious collectors where they can be properly preserved. Vs. Some everyday person who just wants one to have one.

  6. I see, so it is a kind of check. Ok that makes sense.

  7. You don't understand the memekey system -- they have an RSA private key with the singular purpose of signing the magearna codes. The codepath taken depends on the memekey index, found after the POKE magic -- in this case, index 9 is reserved for I choose you cap pikachu (it was a reserved, error path in Sun/Moon). Also, the species field gets used to decide what to display in the scan window, so they have to overwrite it.

  8. No. They're game ID bitmasks, among other things. First byte FF = Sun, Moon, US, UM -- FC = US, UM. Also if it's like the magearna event the pikachu species and forms will get overridden by the game's parsing code regardless of what's in the QR anyway >.> (Magearna QR codepath does if (species != magearna) { species = magearna; }) Last 8 bytes are SHA1(first 0x58) but that's standard memecrypto.

  9. That explains why I haven't seen it. Ok cool. EDIT: Are the first 4 bytes IVs? 1 guaranteed? EDIT Again: It would make sense they would include US if they want to redistribute the same QR code later for the US, or more likely for SEA.

  10. It has not been posted anywhere -- I was asked by the person who sent me it not to share it publically yet.

  11. I haven't seen the EU QR, anyone have a link or cleanup?
    1 point
  12. Yep -- once it's usable I can post the cleaned up EU/US code, too.

  13. We already have a JP code from the JP movie.

  14. Yeah I've got some actions set up in Photoshop to just repeat tedious things like a factory line, and the only thing I do manually is quickly select the blue parts

  16. With the cart finally being completely paid off as of a few hours ago, the savefile is now publicly available here. Special thanks to @HaxAras , @ajxpk , and everyone else who contributed to help pay for this near $1000 investment.
