  2. I've attached a save containing my collection of Pokemon Center New York Pokemon, among them Celebi and multiple egg events. The battery on my Crystal Version has lasted long enough for me to be able to do this. I had no issues with opening this file with Visual Boy Advance after downloading the save and the game itself. It should work fine. Feel free to distribute these files as you see fit, so long as the Pokemon aren't edited, any people interested in research may feel free to contact me for further information. I can try to do my best in remembering what I do remember. Celebi (Enough unique Celebi to make a team or two filled with them) Shiny Distributions Meganium Typhlosion Feraligatr Entei Raikou Suicune Lugia Special Moves Ancientpower Bulbasaur Crunch Charmander (Not A Breeding Move Generation II) Zap Cannon Squirtle Double Slap Lickitung Leech Seed Oddish Sweet Kiss Nidoran (M) Flail Zubat Synthesis Paras False Swipe Machop Fury Attack Cubone Flail Seel Faint Attack Kangaskan Sharpern Onix Swords Dance Goldeen Synthesis Tangela Future Sight Lapras Petal Dance Chikorita Double Edge Cyndaquil Submission Totodile Absorb Phanpy Agility Hoppip Mimic Aipom Spikes! Delibird Hypnosis Misdreavous Safeguard Stantler Mega Kick Miltank Ferocious Monsters with Game Breaking Moves Splash Snorlax Splash Sunkern *Nintendo actually selected Splash as a distribution move on several occasions, as if getting a Sunkern wasn't bad enough. If anyone still has a legit Mew, it would be great to distribute, because then we could truly catch all 251 Pokemon forever. CrystalVersionPCNY.zip

This event was distributed to players at the New York Pokémon Center: Gotta catch 'em all! Station, and the machine were distribuing various PCNY Pokémon across the period of November 22, 2001 to March 13, 2003. The schedule of Pokemon changes weekly, and players were restricted to collecting one Pokemon per week per visit, and the restriction was enforced by the distribution machine; it checks for data stored in the Gen 2 save itself. It appears that the data stored is the header/title, which is checked against the distribution data. This Lugia has a 0.5% chance of occurring, and was always distributed as shiny. A more comprehensive schedule list can be seen here. The dates for distribution was: November 15 to 21, 2002 December 6 to 12, 2002 A more comprehensive schedule list can be seen here. DUE TO HAVING AN EVENT LOCATION, THIS POKEMON WILL NOT BE LEGAL WITH ANY VIRTUAL CONSOLE RELEASE (AND BY EXTENSION, CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO GEN 7 AND ONWARDS). Original Thread for this file: Also, if you want more Shiny Lugia, or various other PCNY mons, @Deoxyz has compiled a save containing mons received from the PCNY distribution machine here. If you want to learn move information, check out these videos. [1][2][Q&A vid]

Since the 20 may 2014, you can't any longer connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection with DS/Wii games like the Pokemon Series. now you can inject the Pokemon Ranger's Wi-Fi Missions in a real cartridge.

  8. EDIT: I made a mistake. @Bond697 said the item is determined by a number in the master ROM. I think this is the seed, right? @Bond697 said the algorithm for the held berry is (x << 0x10 & 0x30000) >> 0x10 & 1 which essentially boils down to x & 1, where 0 is ganlon, and 1 is salac. This is supported by all except for one of the negaiboshi that I have.

  9. If you want to change what ROMs you can distribute to, you can just change the strings it checks against to use any rom: Note the AXVJ and AXPJ. Changing those to the game you want will fix it. Or changing the 2 "BEQ loc_201E410" to "B loc_201E410" will make it work no matter what game you use. To make those work, change "23 D0" @ 201E3C6 to 23 E0 and "1C D0" @201E3D4 to 1C E0. You really only need to change the first one, but might as well be thorough. I'm not sure why you would want to make the ROM run without a master. How would you get it to write to a GBA cart if you had to have a flashcart in to launch the mb ROM or.. something..? Also, something to think about regarding moving the mb ROMs between master GBA distro cart ROMs: Each GBA distro cart has its own set of global variables it writes to in IWRAM(0x3000000-0x3008000). The mb ROMs use matching global variables in order to "inherit" data from the master cart. Things like seeding the RNG are done in all the distros in that way. The multiboot ROMs don't make their own RNG seed, they just get it from their master. Take this example: 3 multiboot ROMs, 3 different RNG locations. That's just an example, all the variables are like that in each one. So if you move a mb ROM from one distro cart to another distro cart, the resulting pokes you get may not be "legit" since they may not normally be able to exist since the mb ROM may read and use incorrect data from an IWRAM location that is incorrect. I think you mentioned that you got a lot of identical(almost identical?) Jirachis when you moved a distro ROM to a different cart in order to generate them and that may be why. They may not be "real" Jirachis that could have been generated at the original event. The oldest ROM, sample0519, gets more data from the master distro cart than any of the others. Things like OT name and gender seem to be passed to it via IWRAM, not determined via RNG in the mb ROM. There's probably other data done the same way but I haven't looked. Really the only way to figure that stuff out would be to have the original Negaiboshi(sp?) distro ROM to look at.

  10. Ok fine, touché! “Their” doesn’t have to refer to something semantically plural. It can be used when the referent’s sex (or number) is unspecified. One of the entries in the Thesaurus for ”their" : belonging to or associated with a person of unspecified sex: she heard someone blow their nose loudly. I didn’t bother checking if the poster was male or female. Also online, you can never be sure so... (sorry) I'd also use a 3rd person pl. pronoun to refer to a single person, male or female or a party when I do not want to disclose any information about their identity in a confidential setting e.g., my client has agreed to your first proposal, but they are not willing to comply by the terms in the second proposal. “They" here might refer to one or more person or party, or even to a man or a woman. That being said, I ban theSlayer for using customized hacked moves that are not coded in the original game and corrupting people’s existence!

  14. I ban Eirikr for the following reasons: Whether or not to use emoji depends on the target audience. In formal settings they are out of place, but in informal settings such as internet fora, they are perfectly acceptable. There is one comma too many in the sentence in the below quote after "their" (underlined). "Their" is the third-person plural possessive pronoun, which is used to indicate more than one person or thing possesses something. It is grammatically incorrect to use it to describe a single person. That is, unless you are suggesting coltonsmogon is in fact more than one person, in which case this reason is invalid, leaving the other two to stand alone.
