  1. I think the private issues been discussed in this thread should be discussed in private between the people involved, this thread is great for people still interested in GEN 3 events and the research behind them, however is rapidly been derailed. The majority, myself included obviously don't know how private individuals on this forum came to obtain these distributions or what deals were made, so in my opinion its pointless discussing a private deal in a public thread, when most don't know the story behind it. The only beneficial thing that has been learned from this is various individuals do have rare distributions for GEN 3, likely for event Pokemon that have long since been lost, or have at least not been publicly archived for future generations to enjoy. Personally I would like to appeal to people who have GEN 3 distributions if they would consider distributing a set of the Pokemon on that distribution and sharing the actual Pokemon with us, or a save, not the rom. I personally can't see that doing any harm and it would be great for the community as a whole to have a more complete GEN 3 archive.

  3. PKHeX for Mac Made with Wineskin Welcome to PKHeX for Mac Discussion thread! Please post here if you need help or are experiencing issues related to this Wineskin wrapper, and use the PKHeX Support forum for issues related to the program. This is a Mac App that was made using Wineskin; it is not a port of PKHeX onto the Mac operating system. With Wineskin, we can recreate an environment where executable files will launch on Mac. As far as what is known, all features in the original program work in this wrapper. There are a few differences though. PKHeX for Mac is styled with MacOS. Also, the app's icon is different from the original PKHeX program to better fit in with the theme of the app. Download Credit to Kaphotics Source: https://projectpokemon.org/home/files/file/1-pkhex/ Issues with Wine and PKHeX? This app not working for you? Check out the PKHeX on Mac guide:

  4. Hello Project Pokémon! Here's a project the moderators of /r/pokemontrades have been working on as somewhat of a spiritual successor to Pokécheck of the old days: Porybox! What can I do with Porybox? In short, it does this. Also, this! - Store and organize your collection online, with privacy settings you control. Options include private (visible only to you), public (freely downloadable by anyone), and viewable (basic details visible to anyone, but more sensitive ones such as PID hidden). - See detailed information that is not immediately viewable in game such as IVs, EVs, and happiness. - Share links to individual Pokémon or boxes of Pokémon you want to show to other people. - Make Pokémon available for download, or download Pokémon other people have made public. - Check to see if your Pokémon already exist as clones in the Porybox database. Please note that the site is still under development, and should not be considered stable. If you experience any issues, please let us know. Planned features - Legality analysis - Support for Pokémon files in pre-gen 6 format - Site-wide search - And more! The project Porybox is a free and open-source project with its source hosted on GitHub, and anyone can contribute to it. We also have a dedicated subreddit (/r/porybox) and an IRC channel (#porybox on SynIRC) for discussion. Credits We would like to thank the following people and communities for their help, direct or indirect, in making Porybox happen: See the credits. You will recognize a lot of names from this forum. I cannot stress enough how useful your research was to the project. Thank you again!

  6. Ignoring Unreleased Shinies, as I feel like this will probably come randomly at some point, Unreleased HA will probably come first from Japan, in the form of Pokemon Scrap. Marshadow will likely have it's own movie afterwards.

  7. Glad they've been officially revealed! But I do wonder if this means Marshadow is being saved for the 21st Movie..

  10. Remember what I said about distribution romhacks' potential of opening Pandora's box. Of course people with access to these roms can do whatever the hell they want, but if we're giving to much public hacking information on these, some could make roms that appear to be legitimate roms we don't yet have, sell it to us, and it possibly being unable for us to differentiate from the real thing. I provided the other languages' 10th Anniversary .pk3s to help deter the need to do this. I still can't guarantee when or if I can get the actual roms. Even in good intentions, some things can backfire, but can be better prevented if such things are kept discussed in private. Of course, I'd feel responsible for making the roms public in the first place, but the good outweighed the bad with that decision . So all I can do at this point is warn about how much distro hacking information is said in public. In this case, if all you're doing is removing the language lock, I guess that's fine, since the pokemon's OT will still be "10ANNIV". But the French 10th Anniversary pokemon also have the OT "10ANNIV", so idk. And cracking this just makes it one step easier for scammers. Again, I did provide the other language .pk3s so we wouldn't really need to do this. Just another warning though, I have no real right to tell people not to do something.

  12. An ideal moderator is a user who is very committed to helping out the Project Pokemon community. The familiarize themselves with many users and staff, and they have also been a member for some period of time to show they are very active and mature. Moderators are dedicated to checking the forums very frequently, keeping it clean of unwanted material, and generally contributing. If you want to interact directly, there's quite a few users and staff on the IRC (Chat). I personally idle there frequently if you want to get to know me better. It also makes things easier on me to know whom I will potentially be working with.
